On 3/6/2011 my family and friends (9 total in the group) visited the Urbandale/Johnston location. We first ordered our drinks and onion blossoms, when the plates came out, 2 plates had dry food on them, we asked for clean plates. Upon opening our silverware, 3 knives had dry food on them. At this point I asked to see the manager, some lady came over and said that she would insure we had clean items. At this point I asked again to see the manager, and he finnaly came to our table and stated that he had terminted the silverware wraper and would come back and check on us when our meal arrived. Why were the plates not checked, that was not the person terminted job! When we recieved our bill the waitress stated they were taking 30% off the bill, upon checking they not done this, had them redo the bill. When it came back there was not the 30% taken off but closer than before. I will never go to taht place again, and am forwarding the information the the health inspectors in Des Moines, Iowa. FIRST AND LAST VISIT
I went to your Hagerstown MD Location on Sat 02/26/11 to celebrate with my children my 55 bday. I want you to know how disapponted I was in the service I and my family rec'd We called ahead to tell them that a party of 10 would be there at 7PM and that it was a bday. When we got there the hostess with dirty blonde hair sitting in a chair in front of the podium had the attitude of a piss ant and said that it didn't matter if you called ahead you still have to wait your turn then we were told that since we wanted to sit together (imagine that) that our wait would be even longer we arrived at 6:30 PM and were finally seated at 8:00PM and although we ask to sit together we were in separate tables. I do not blame our waitress she had nothing to so with the seating arrangements not the attitude at the door the manager did come over and gave us nothing but excuses as to why things happen the way that they did. But you ruined my bday with my family and I will never forget that nor will I recommend your restaurant to any one. Obviously in todays economy you could careless about your customers.
I have been a TRH customer for at least 2yrs. I love going to the Brookesville location all wait staff and most of mgmnt are great until I had the pleasure of meeting the head manager, Kieth Ball. I found him to be extremely rude and verbally abusive to his staff. I was shocked by his attitude toward his wait staff, calling them stupid and useless, I felt embarrased for the poor waitress as she obviousley did not know where to put herself or how to act after being treated so awful. After the incedent I wanted to comfort her, and she said he acts like that to all his staff on a daily basis more toward the girls than guys employed at this location. I feel that such a nice wait staff should be commended for the great job they do. How can you let this go on? I have owned my own business for 17 yrs and have the upmost respect for my employees, lets be real without that wait staff he would not be able to draw in the money or the customers he does at this location. I feel that a reperesentative from corporate should take the time to look into this horrific situation as no one should work under this abusive attitude. He needs to go!!!!
I just went to texas roadhouse on valentines day 2011...It was a very pleasant experience. the hostess was very friendly and our waitress was splendid. Her name was sherry and she was very attentive..Also the ribeye i had was the best steak i have ever eaten...Good job texas roadhouse..( i was at the texas roadhouse in ofallon missouri)
On Valentines Day we went to Texas Road House in McCallen, TX. The crew was outstanding and Anthony Cortez the manager was also very nice. We had won a free baby blossom at a valentines dance, so we invited two more couples to share the meal with us. When we were ready to pay the bill, we were told that they could not honor the baby blossom with the twofers. It wasn't much more, but it did not seem fair to let us know about the baby blossom not being free after we had already eaten the meal. It seemed like bait and switch to us. So please tell me what free really means?
On 02/11/2011 Me and a group of nine other people went the Texas Roadhouse in Montgomery Alabama. It was the worst experience we have ever received in a restaurant. The waitress was disrespectful and the owner/manager(Troy)was the most disrespectful person I have ever came in contact within a business setting. He was passing by the table (we didn't know he was the owner at the time) and someone asked if he could get them something. He responed by saying im not a waiter im the owner and walked away. The waitress came back with her disrespectful attitude and we requested that they could give us our recept for the drinks that we were drinking because we no longer wanted the food so you can cancell those orders. Then waiter just walks away. She went got the owner and we told him the same thing as well as we didn't think we should have to leave a tip for someone that gave us awful service. He told us that we would because it was included in the recept. He also told us that we would have to pay for the food since we ordered even though we had not received it and if we didn't he would call the police. We told him we was not going to pay for any food that we did not consume. So he did just as he said he would and called the police. In the mean time he sent someone out of the kitchen to talk with us who was not even a manager while he waited for the police. The person he sent out was of our race (black). We could already tell by his gesture that he was raciest. Then you send someone out to address a sitiuation that was out of controll that was not a supervisor or a manager just because they were the same race. So the police finally came and they told us that we would have to pay for the food that we never received or go to jail. We told them the same thing that we was not going to pay for any food that we never consumed that we would pay for the drinks that we had started drinking or they can just take us to jail. By the time the realized that we really was not going to pay for the food they finially brought the recept for the drinks. The entire time I was on the phone with someone from the corporate office in Louisville Ky who said they only could take the complaint and have someone to call me back on Monday. I wait Monday to receive a call and no one ever called so I called them. The customer relations manager told me that she had talked to Troy that morning. All she did was defend what Troy had told her. We went back and forward on the phone to the point that I just got tired and asked to speak with someone higher then her. She lied and told me that the only person I could speak to that was higher then her would be Troy the manager/owner that we already had the problem with. So I asked her do the franchise not have any rules and regulations that the owners must go by and she told me that they just trust there owners to make the best decisions. So I hung up with her and called the main line back and asked if there was anyone higher then Courtney I could speak with and she told me yes that her name is Donna. So Courtney just flat out lied to me to back up the racist manager/owner Troy. Which made me even more upset. Donna was out of the office so I did not get to speak with her. But I will be calling back in the morning. How can you run a business this way?
Texas roadhouse bedford Texas. I went in there last night with 3 of my friends. It is my favorite restaurant. Anyway they told me it would be about 15-25 minutes. No big deal. There was allot of people there so we sat in the coral and waited. And waited. And waited. I went to the host stand and asked the girl about how much longer because they were already 10 minutes over my quoted time. Her name I believe was Taryn or Talyn. She was completely rude to me. The tone in her voice was awful. She claimed only 2 tops were getting up and then looked at me like I was dumb when I asked what I "2 top" was. I didn't mind waiting that long cuz the foods great but the way she talked to me was not okay. Guests should never be treated like that.
We scheduled a birthday dinner on Feb.10,11 at Texasroadhouse in Alcoa, Tenn 37701.We called ahead for party of 6 and one child was to be there at 5;30 and was present at 5:20 and I changed it to 7 adults and 1 child. she said it would take 15 mims for change. I said no problem and could we have a table and not booth. she said no problen. we waited for longer and they took us to a booth where we couldn't even fit into. we ask to get a table as I had requested earlier. We went back to waiting room to set for 45 mims or longer. What a birthday this was . we had ate so many peanuts waiting for seating . We should have left and forgotten this place. The manager was aware of problem and she was very sorry. Thank you for listening to my first complant about any restaurant. The Shipwash party of 7 .
Yesterday I visited Texas Roadhouse location in East Meadow NY. After ordering drinks,I was told that they ran out of peanuts. Sounds silly but, that was one of the reasons for choosing the restaurant. Thereafter I ordered a well done hamburger, which was delivered to me med rare.To make the situation even worse, I called the headquarters up this morning, only to be made a fool of. An unknown person stated that I couldn't get a refund. Sounds like poor service all around. Would I go back, and give them another try? Heck no. There are many other places in my area to go to. Sorry guys poor service, poor food, no peanuts!
My service has always been poor when I go into the location. When I order take out its always cold and salty! But, here's is the real kicker...my son worked at this place in in Peoria Az and single handedly did all of the training for the store, used my printer at home, spent money on putting together materials, made this store the "training" store, then they turned around and fires all of the "good help",(mostly minorities) told him not to take it personal, demoted him, he was paid peanuts! He did the job of 3 employees, I know because they had to hire 3 people to do what he was doing! The management at this place sucks, the food sucks and I'm telling everyone I know! My son never missed a day of work, well only when he had emergancy apendectomy, and was sick at work and asked to go home they said "no" next day he was in the ER being cut open! yeah Im mad!!
My daughter and I had the same to eat. Sweet potato and bloomin' onion. That night I was sick the entire night and next day. My daughter experienced diahrrea all evening. Will never eat there again. The supervisor who was made aware of the problem had no compassion whatever. Did not say he would give a refund, or any compensation for what happened to us. Shame on them.
I am sending this in disgust of the way we were treated after our truck was broken into at your resturaunt. Everyone seemed to know about the break in except us and by then the theives had gone to town on our credit cards. They broke out our window and took many items and when I went in to get a garbage so that the broken glass would not be all over the parking lot they told me that this was the 6th break in in the past couple of weeks. They had done nothing about it nor did the manager seem to care. I will NEVER eat there again. I love the food yet am very dissappointed in the fact that they seem to know there is a problem in their parking lot and have done nothing to stop it. It was reported by several patrons yet they did not try to find out the owner of the vehicle so I may have cancelled my credit cards over an hour earlier. Even the police know about it before we did. If this is a problem perhaps they could have put up cameras more lights have a patrol through there regularly anything to make an effort. I will be telling my friends and family to stop going there and how uncaring they were. I hope this prompt you to force this place to take some action to help out their future victims. Even a warning as we walked in would have prompted us to remove some items from the vehicle prior to dining. I guess it just makes me angry that they knew this happened and has been happening and did not a dang thing.
My wife and I go to the texas roadhouse in Lubbock, TX at least twice a month, always enjoy ourselves and never have a complaint about the food. On 1-15-11 we decided to go out on a date and what better place to start. We were told there would be an hour and a half wait when we called ahead and arrived about half an hour early, we were lucky enough to find a table in the bar and didnt have to wait long at all. Our waitress was awesome, never had to wait on a thing. We both ordered a salad, mashed potatoes, and salad. I had finished my salad, and my wife offered me the rest of hers, on my second bite of hers I bit down on something hard, only to discover I was pulling glass out of my mouth. Not just a little glass either, the bowl had chipped on the side in the kitchen and the glass was in the bowl. Our waitress was quick to get her manager, Brandi, who came and took the salad bowl so fast we didnt have time to investigate further, and informed us we would have to fill out an incident report, which we understood. Moments after we got our steaks she came and sat down in the booth with us and proceeded to ask us questions throughout our entire meal. We were floored. When she left she said she would take care of it. At the end of the meal the waitress brought our ticket, and apologized for what I was about to see. Brandi had taken 10 dollars off of our meal. I asked to see her again, and when she came over I further explained that there was GLASS in my wifes salad, and she had sat at our table for our entire meal. She again said she would take care of it and returned, happily telling me she had now taken 20 dollars off instead of 10. Angry I just paid the bill. Moments later another manager, Lindsey approached us apologizing repeatedly and asking if we would please let them credit my card for the meal. It isn't paying for my food that bothers me, but if the situation was so bad that you had to have an incident report, and then you take 20 dollars off? I mean come on..., what kind of customer service is that. The manager that came last gave us a gift card for a dinner for 2, begging us to give them another chance. Why arent all of your managers like that? horrible experience.
My husband and I are frequent diners at the U.S. 135 S in Greenwood, Indiana location and have never once had less than perfect service! The hosts are always friendly and accommodating (we always ask for a booth) and the wait staff is always in high spirits. Our food is always cooked to perfection, refills are given in a timely manner, and the rolls are ALWAYS so good I eat a basket by myself (even in light of my husband's comments that I won't finish my steak). We are not very hard to please people, but this location definitely goes above and beyond! We usually end up purchasing alcoholic beverages, an appetizer (sometimes two), two full entrees, and a dessert, AND we tip 30% on top it that. We will easily drop $75 and not think twice because the service is so spectacular! Keep up the good work!
This is the second time I have had a horrible experience. And I mean horrible! I'm sure I am just wasting my time complaining about this. To night we went for dinner and instead got a mouth full of pubic hairs in our salads. The manager thought it was quite funny and said he'll give me a free entree. Oh wow a free entree!! He had a smirk on his face the whole time and made stupid comments. I used to like your restaurant a lot but not now. I hate it there!! The rolls were hard as a rock and the pubic hairs in the salad was just sickening!! I went to the bathroom to vomit. We were being pushed out while ordering by our waitress she told us she would serve us only if we didn't take longer than 1 hour to eat. We were treated like trash. I am shocked at the way we were treated. I would have got better treatment and better food at McDonalds. Your management sucks, your staff sucks and food sucks. Everyone we talked to about this thought it was funny for some reason. Not to mention a few months ago we went there for dinner and the waiter started a fight with my fiance and followed him out the door. We complained and nothing was done about it at all!! So as you can imagine I AM PISSED!!! I will be informing everyone about this treatment we received. And I mean EVERYONE!
First time visitors to the Everett MA location....My 9 year old son is not a fan of BBQ so ordered him a cheesburger very delecious except for the latex glove thumb finger in the burger!
I was never so angry in my whole life. We've been going to Texas Roadhouse for a few months now since the built this one closer to our home. This Friday night we went after a hard days work to enjoy a nice meal and each others company. Everything was going fine until we were asked to hurry up because some "regulars" wanted our seats. Never again will I spend one penny in that place. My money is just as good as your "regulars" . Then the bartender had the balls to say well they come in here every night at the same time and sit there. I said well if they were here on time they would be sitting here instead of us. Texas Roadhouse another one seems to have bitten the dust.Rule of eight still applies. If I could rate you any lower I would!
*****WARNING***** Friday, November 19, 2010, my daughter and I went to your restaurant in Chesapeake, VA. The waiter (Trey) appeared to be very on top of things, so when the night was over, he received an $11.00 CASH tip with the $26.82 meal. I signed the receipt, zeroed the "tip" part out, and then totaled the receipt for $26.82. WELL, a couple of days later as I looked online at my checking account, I had been charged an EXTRA $3.18 which brought my "total" up to $30.00. When the restaurant was contacted and I spoke with a manager by the name of Jessica, I was told she needed to look into this since a couple of days had passed. When she called me back, she told me that yes, my ticket had been rung up and "closed out" at about 7 PM. BUT about two hours later, the waiter (Trey), whom I had so generously tipped, ran my card number again and added the extra money on as more of a tip for himself. I was given my $3.18 back along with a coupon for an entree (I was NOT impressed with this!). When I asked what the repercussions would be for the waiter, I was told he would be written up. That's all. I AM NOT OK WITH THIS!!!! This guy took my debit card number and added to the bill to "fluff" his pocket. I believe I can press charges against him. I may still do this, even for the $3.18, since I did NOT give him permission to have that money!!!!
I just want to say I live in Burleson and my oldest daughter was playing in Temple and we visited the Temple location and they were dressed up for Halloween. I have never seen so many distasteful costumes. One girl was volleyball uniform and literally her butt cheeks were hanging out and 2 other girls that worked at the establishment were wearing distasteful costumes and were dancing in the aisles of the restaurant. We were there with our teammates which consisted of four 13 year olds. This restaurant is suppose to be a "family" restaurant. I don't mind having fun and dressing up, but there needs to be a dress code. I am very disappointed!!!! This restaurant was a bad influence to these young 13 year olds! The food is always great, but this establishment went overboard on allowing staff to dress up with no restrictions! Hopefully in the future they will make better decision!
I went to Texas Roadhouse in York, Pa. tonight for supper along with my son, fiancee and neighbors, and as always, excellent service and great food!
