Stein Mart Corporate Office & Headquarters

I recently had the pleasure of shopping in Stein Mart in Plano, Texas. I usually do a lot of my shopping in departments stores, but I had a day off and so I stopped by to see what all the had. It was a Saturday Miday and very busy day. I needed help in finding a few sizes of my shirts and pants. I went to look for an employee that worked there, I came across Mrs. Nadera Gardeze( I hope I spelled her name correctly) I asked her for a few choices in color and in sizes. She was so sweet. You could tell that Mrs. Nadera was very sick that day. She was very under the weather, but with the way she was interacting with me you would never know that she was sick. She was so sweet and kind. She has this accent and was very sweet. I had my little boy with me and she not only was helping me, but stopped and went and brought back my little boy a chocolate for my son. She told me she has a few grand kids of her own and it shows. SHe was a typical grandmother spoiling the kids. I loved it. She told me which color would suit me and went and got the correct size for me. She spend a long time in searching and helping me out. I asked her how long she has been working and she said in this store for 10 years. I really hope that Stein Mart knows what they have with them. They have a really hard working, sweet, caring people person in there store. Because of her I will return to this store and bring a lot of my friends and family here also. I asked her when she works next so I can try to come on the days she is working there. I am giving the 5 star for her not for the store. I also left a message for the store manager i think her name Lisle and she never called me or emailed me so I can tell them about what a wonderful employee they have.

Went to Stein Mart in Greenville, SC for the 1st time with my best friend. She "raves" about the Store as her "favorite". When she checked out (at the Customer Service desk) she explained that she had forgotten her 30% coupon. Well! My girlfriend was told that if she was an "Elite" customer, she would automatically be given the 30% discount. My girlfriend was shocked and asked why she was not "Elite" (after 20 years) and was told that she had to spend (yet another) $1,000 and then would be so-called "Elite" as there was no record of her NUMEROUS PAST PURCHASES!!! My girlfriend has spend tens of thousands of dollars at Stein Mart and has been a loyal customer for over TWENTY YEARS! Whenever she checked out and did not have her "card", they would ask her "telephone number". However, it appears that no purchases whatsoever were being tallyed on her card so she had not been receiving purchase credits. My girlfriend had to fill out ANOTHER CARD after already making a $250.00 purchase AND WAS TOLD SHE HAD TO SPEND ANOTHER THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! What a joke! Stein Mart has been cheating my girlfriend for so many years! Shame on you! Not to mention, the Store Manager and two cashiers were entirely rude, unfriendly and unprofessoinal. It is the Store's responsibility to explain Store Policy to each customer. I purchased one item and was never asked if I wanted to apply for one of your "cards". Unbelievable! I have already called the Customer Service line today and I will be writing a follow-up letter to Stein Mart Corporate Office since this Site's Disclaimer states "this is not to be used to contact Stein Mart Corporate Offices" nor is this site affilitated with them in any way. BTW--my best friend is no longer "raving" about Stein Mart! SHAME ON YOU!!!

I have been at Stein Mart's in Richmond Virginia on Broad Street. I have to agree that the sales women have no manners or any enthusiasm to assist customers. I shopped there in November of 2011 and I had to hunt the staff down in order to get some help. I am starting to believe that the staff are being trained to pay no attention to the customers and to be rude. They walk pass you and do not ask you if you need help, they do not greet you when you enter their store and I'm downright disgusted by the attitudes that are portrayed at Stein Mart. This is not the first time that I have been at the store because I thought to give them another try. But, if all of the staff is having a bad day all of the time it is not the customers it is Stein Mart for choosing employees that will eventually pursuade many customers not to shop at their establishment.

I carry your credit card and am a good customer and love your clothes. BUT,the Jewish holiday called Hanukkah begins within the same time slot as Christmas and no where in sight is there a Menorah commerating this holiday. Shame on you and your corporate people not to acknowledge this holiday that means so much to the Jewish people and who are so much of your customer base here in Plantation, Florida . I do see a very small display of items for sale but it seems to me and many other people that this holiday is just not as important to your company as it is to so many young and old customers of yours. When are you going to take a close look at this situation. I know that Christmas is a money making holiday, but you certainly should consider that the Jewish people also have a holiday and do spend lots of money in your store and that is important to them and you certainly do not honor this holiday.

I had been a fan of Stein Mart, Amarillo, IX, since it opened and had purchased many things there - until yesterday. I was in the store after quite a while and was appalled at what I saw. Instead of the classy upscale store I had been used to, I saw a disorderly discount store, merchandise badly arranged, clothes on floor, disorderly racks. I will never go into that store again. Something is drastically wrong with the management, which has changed, I found out from one of the cashiers. Too bad.

I was in your Greenville N.C store and i purchase a watch I payed for my item with a ten dollar bill and four single bills i watch the lady in the jewelry dept. take the money and run the marker across all the bills if she had did it to the ten i wouldn't had felt offended but to do it to the one's made me feel as doe i was giving her fake money because i was a black woman i took my other item a laid them down and walk out the store i felt that my money should not and would not be paying her salary yes i purchase the 12.99 watch but you lost a 270.00 and some change on the item i was going to purchase with people like her working you can belive you will be down sizing.I took my money to KOHLS was treated with respect. way to go kohls you get all the perks stein mart gets non....oct 6 2011 @5:45pm

I used to shop at Steinmart exclusively for the past 10 years, however in the past 2 years I've noticed a huge change in their clothing and coupon availability. In the past the bargains were much better, it seems as if a group of accountants has gotten a hold of these stores and everything is about the bottom dollar. I've walked out of the last three 12 hour sales due to the air conditioning not keeping the store cool. I think it may be that they are really watching their dollars here. The type of clothing used to be really "stylish" , unfortunately that also seems to have changed. I have returned to Nordstroms, at least the fashions are better and the air conditioning is always on. What has happened to Steinmart, it was such a great store. You used to have fabulous deals with your coupons,..now the 20% applies only to one item? I have been in your stores and heard your sales staff complaining between themselves about issues in the store. I can't speak for anyone being rude to me however, most of your sales staff is pretty nice considering what they must have to go through working in the heat of the store. I do hope there is a major change for the better and perhaps the "old Steinmart" will return again.

Help!!!!! We need a Stein Mart in southern Indiana, IMMEDIATELY!!!! I don't know if you have heard about the Sherman Minton Bridge being closed on the Ohio River between Louisville and Indiana and how it takes us TWO hours to get to Louisville. We Need a store of our own here!!! Immediately!!!! I know that the Shelbyville Road store will probably close because I am not there every week. Please send help soon!!!!!

I am searching for one of many shoes I've bought at the Stein Mart in Mandarin. Easy Spirit does not make this particular model now. I asked if there was a warehouse that Stein Mart might have where there may be a possibility of finding one or 2 or 3 pairs of this model,or of older style shoes that did not sell. The main objective was to get me off the telephone as quickly as possible, by the personnel that I talked to. With no helpful advice for further searching. I have had contact with Easy Spirit and their response was much more courteous. The shoe was made by Easy Spirit, named Determines, Anti-Gravity size 9. A very comfortable walking shoe for someone who has balance problems. I would have appreciated a little more help instead of trying o get rid of me.

I guess there is a time line for submitting comments. I got cut off from the site. I called the offices at Stein Mart in Mandarin, Jacksonville,Fl., to ask for help in the search for a pair of the many shoes I've bought at this store. Easy Spirit does not make this style any more and suggested trying some of the local stores. I asked if Stein Mart had a warehouse of older styles that did not sell and they could not get me off the telephone quick enough. Even Easy Spirit was more polite than the employees that i tried to get an answer from. I had hoped for a little help from this store. the style was Easy Spirit called Determines SKU# 6723605 size 9. Any help at all will be appreciated.

I resent ly stoped at your park & preston in plano , texas location with a few my girlfriend s. I am a african american. We come in looking for some gifts and home items. I could not find the size on a shirt and another hand towel, so I asked the women who I found our was the store manager name lisle. A tall whitewomen with blond hair. I approched her she wax busy belittling an ther employee which I sd idea not like at all. She finally stoped and looked at me , so I asked her the question and she rolled get eyes andand said that she went back to look after 2seconds she came back and said they did not have it., she then made a ccomment about my weight and skin to lady that was next to her. She got her purse and wentfor lunch. The worsted service ever . I have been to this store before but will never give back. My entire church, family, friend s, coworker s stoped shopping thers. She does not like, black ppl, foreigners, at all. Her comment was very bad I for.th want to even write it.

well being a sales associate i get the feel that the managers are completely disrespectful to not only the employees but the customers one person in particular. She makes it hard for me to go to work everyday knowing that i get treated like dirt i advise nobody to shop at stein mart unless you like places that dont appreciate their employees who actually do the work for the company the associate's mostly this company is very bad and do nothing like what they say they do DO NOT SHOP AT STEIN MART IN ROCKLIN CA EVER!!! I am a 50year old black female I was in your AZ store and was looking for a birthday present for my sister. I did not find the ideal gift therefore; exited your store in Chandler without a purchase. Later that evening I was contacted by the Chandler police department asking me if I stole something from your store because security tags were on the floor near where I was shopping. I am first appalled and offended because I was racially profile and accused or associated to a crime. I am a honest citizen the wife of a detention officer and a AZ supremene court CASA. I will pursue this with every effort to clear my name you filed a police report and connected my name to it. I want the world to know that Blacks are being profiled in your store...BOYCOTT STEINMART!!!!!!!

It is rather sad to see that such a nice store has such a horrible bathroom for women. I was surprised that I did'nt see someone standing there to hand you a towel on which to dry your hands on. Instead, the White Bridge Road location in Nashville, TN has out of order toilets and just a dreadful look / color and smell. Come on management / owners / you can so much better than that. I am a frequent shopper and Stein Mart is one of my favorite stores. Shop Stein Mart in Sarasota, FL, and Holmdel, NJ. Both stores are clean; restrooms also. Sales associates have always been helpful and pleasant. Overall, not just Stein Mart, think the women's clothing industry lacks quality products. Clothing, in general, like many products today, has certainly deteriorated over the many years I have been shopping. You really have to search to find well made desirable items in any category.

I'VE SHOP AT STEIN MART FOR YEARS IN KETTERING,OHIO UNTIL I MOVED TO DESTIN,FLORIDA THE MANAGER THERE IS SOSOSO RUDE,ITS REALLY HARD FOR ME TO SHOP THERE AGAIN. JENETTA

Stein mart stores in Goergia are so hot and the choice of items to buy are now garbage. Stein Mart used to sell nice things, even the gold not real gold ear rings turn black with in a couple of weeks of wearing them. Most of the things I try to look at are on the floors, people just knock items down and walk away. The associates are for the most part rude, very rude. I guess I might be also if I had to work in the heat in the stores. I do not try anything on, it is too hot in the dressing rooms and they are covered over with clothes.

What is wrong with Stein Mart's sales software? First I was told I must carry my Preferred card because, unlike other retailers, the salespeople are not able to look up a card by phone number or name. Then I carried my card but because I did not present it prior to my credit card I was unable to use it. I would have liked my purchases to be applied to my card for available 'points' but instead I walked out without making a purchase - not once, but twice (totaling approximately $450 worth of clothing) due to the attitude of sales people. But perhaps they are as frustrated with the limited program software as I am. Perhaps it is only poor customer service in the Alma School/Chandler store. May I suggest Stein Mart either upgrade the current software or eliminate the so-called Preferred program? It really is misleading.
