Reading glasses

The recent prada pastel color reading glasses are very porous any thing touches them they are stained i am so disappointed with my recent purchase I would like for some one in charge to have a look and see what I am talking about after six months of wearing it is so discolor . So disappointed.

Poor Quality

My brother bought a Prada 1500 purse for me. After one month of use the leather began to fall off. People see the Prada label and the purse looks hidious. I am ashamed to inform my brother.

Poor quality of frames and doing anything about it.

Bought Prada prescription sun glasses about 4 years ago and before one year was up the frames colour started to fade. Product did not hold up. Now everyone knows these glasses are costly and even more for perscription ones. Took them back to orgibal store of purchase, Lens Crafters in Richmond BC and into the Nanaimo store and neither astore would do anything. The high cost of these sun glasses should of stood up. Have taken care of these glasses, but quality was not there for what I paid for them. Will not recommend this company, if this is how the product is and service to look into the problem.

disrespectful, rude and had a temper tandrum when i asked for the status of my repair.(for the second time- waiting 6+ weeks again) inferior product, service and staff. after reading these reviews i see my experience was the same- get on it prada- lots of good people need jobs in new york!

Handbag for Christmas

My son surprised me on Christmas with a beautiful handbag by Prada. After a while, I stopped using it, and he wanted to know why. He was as surprised when I told him that the handle fell apart within the first few months. From that point on I had used black model paint on the pink cable within the handle, just so I could use it for a while longer. Now, I don't use it at all.

I purchased a Prada zip around wallet from Neimans. Zipper broke! Neimans refused customer service on Prada! What does that tell you?

I purchased a bag in NY a few months ago and now one of the buttons on the side just fell off....a 2500 dollar bag....never again.

Best eyeglasses I have ever used

BAD BUSINESS,PRADA...I had previously made several purchases of your PRADA™ sunglasses both for personal use as well as gifts, but I am not convinced I would anymore. I can tell you that I am highly disappointed in the quality & lack of customer service. I had to take them to a retail store at a mall to get the “nose clip” and the "screw" replaced with a generic. I have tried contacting PRADA™ and the stores where I had purchased the glasses and was told that I am out of luck with finding the parts or even reaching the company. BAD BUSINESS PRADA!!!

I happened upon this book in the borsktooe, and also recently saw it mentioned in Harper's Bazar. All they say is that it is a comprehensive history of footware. What they fail to mention is that all the pictures are illustrations. There is not one single color photograph of an original shoe. If you check the product description above that Amazon provides, it does tell you that it has illustrations, but many people don't know to look there. While the drawings are nicely done, they didn't give me the same thrill that seeing an actual photo of an original shoe would have. The pictures on the cover are exactly the same type of drawing and the same type of composition that you will see of other shoes in the book. I can understand having drawings of shoes from hundreds of years ago, but not having any photos of modern shoes seems a cop out. The book is informative, but I think it is in no way complete. It gives an overview of shoes from different eras, but does not scratch much beyond the surface. So, you get a little of everything and some representative pictures of the average footware, but not a good sense of what might be unique about a particular time period beyond what you can see for yourself in the illustrations. I've read other books on fashion history that do a better job than this book in covering a wide range of time periods (such as Decades of Beauty). However, these books did not contain only shoes. I have yet to find a book about shoes that has both good photographs and informative text. So, due to lack of competition, some people may want to check this book out because there isn't anything else out there. But, I would not reccomend buying it sight unseen. I think that this book would be too elementary for a fashion historan or someone into the history of shoes, but too boring for the average person to want to buy. I definitely would not recommend it for someone with a shoe fetish. It was worth the time I spent looking through it at the borsktooe because of some of the text, but mostly because of the lack of photos I did not buy it.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I HAVE A DGREE IN FASHION SO I FEEL QUALIFIED IN SATATING THAT SHORT OF THE SHOES I SAW AS A CHILD IN THE CIRCUS ; THE SHOES YOU HAD ADVERTISED IN THE AUGUST ISSUE OF "W" ARE QUITE POSSIBLY THE UGLIEST SHOES I HAVE EVER SEEN. THE SHOES DESRVE TO BE HAILED OFF TO THE NEAREST LANDFILL ASAP; & THE DESIGNER NEEDS TO BE FIRED.

Christine, i might have that screw your looking for. i worked at prada assembling. shoot me a pic of the screw you have left and i will let you know.

CHANGE THAT STUPID ADD ITS THE MOST RETARDED THING I HAVE EVER SEEN USED AS AN ADVERTISEMENT THE PEOPLE WHO BUY YOUR PRODUCTS ARE NOT FUCKING STUPID AND SO YOU SHOULD ADDVERTISE TO THEM A COMERCIAL THAT WOULD REQUIRE AND IQ OF -71 TO TAKE SERIOUSLY.. FUCK MAN ITS NOT LIKE THIS COMPANY DOESNT HAVE THE MONEY TO GET A SEERIOUS ADDVERT TEAM ITS AMAZING THAT A COMPANY WOULD TAKE SUCH A RISK USING SUCH A PATHETIC COMMERCIAL .. PADA (CANDY) WILL ONLY SUFFER FROM THAT ADD .. HOW COULD EVERYON HWO SAW THAT IN PRODUCTION NOT SAY TO EACH OTHER JEEZ THIS SEEMS STUPID SHOULD WE MAYBE TRY A LITTLE HARDER ...

After two weeks of purchasing my prada sunglasses, the screw fell off. Not thinking this was a big deal to replace, I was not able to get anyone in the NYC store to help me a customer service number, let alone tell me what the next step is. I cannot believe that this is a reputable tore and the people that work for them are grossly incompetent . Shame on you Prada. Still don't know how to get a replacement screw...

It was an utter disappointment to have received such an unresponsive and disheartening customer service from a world renowned boutique store.I have owned many of Prada's leather goods throughout these years because of it's credibility and reputable customer service rendered. 1) It is unbelievable that the bag was sent in for repair half a year back and I had to take the initiative to write in just to receive a status update. The excuse told to me was that the mobile number was wrong henceforth unable to reach me. It is absurd. I have had clarified my mobile number in the email chain below. Apart from that, I had received calls regarding my bag repair a couple of times last year so why was it impossible for your personnel to reach me? Also, my email address was on the records, why was it not used to contact me? It was a lousy and ridiculous reason for not able to reach out to the customer.Needless to say, there is a lack of proactive attitude and initiative in the service. Totally unacceptable! 2) To my dismay, sales associate by the name ofFarhan had a reluctant attitude in serving me. It was a bitter pill while trying to understand what took the repair so long and yet the condition of my bag was not up to quality standard. I recalled I was pleasantly advised by a manager on the preventive measures to take for the Nappa leather carrier. Unfortunately, I do not remember the tips. Ergo, I asked Farhan for advices to my bag and especially I had the bag for less than a month before I sent it in for repair. He simply responded irritably: "well... bags will always get scratches ..." with display of impatient physical behaviours. Annoyingly, he rejected the idea of preventive measures and told me nothing he can advise much. After much prompting, he said "just go to professional bag clinics ah". I  overheard a couple next to me wondering in amazement why bother purchasing from Prada when the after sales service is nothing but a lemon. My bag was being stuffed into a broken paper bag and there was no stuffing at all to maintain the shape of the bag. Upon asking for stuffing, it seem to irritate him further as he went to get stuffing unwillingly. With such undeserving attitude, I decided to leave the store with the broken paper bag and drop off the idea of purchasing a Mothers' Day gift. This is absolute nonsense. I am insulted by the lack of sincerity in the service provided. On top of that, the manager by the name of Marjan, lacked of sincerity in apologising and made up excuses. She sounded irritated when I question the ability to follow up with an email when the staff was unable to reach me. I was pissed off with her attitude that screams - I have already apologise, what do you want and if you cannot accept, then too bad, we cant carry on the conversation. All I needed was a sincere apology.

When I was in NY, I went to the 5th Avenue location with my bag & authenticity card to see if I could order a replacement metal foot for the bottom of my bag. Literally one day the foot unscrewed & just dropped off somewhere. The bag is a few years old, but purely in MINT condition, but I got snickers & sneers about trying to repair an "old bag" as they called it, and they said I could not order the hardware. (which I know is not true, because I have friends that had ordered replacement parts for their bags through other stores). They would not even give me a number for me to call and check myself. So now I cannot use my bag because it has a missing foot that just dropped off one day, and no way of resolving the issue apparently. I have purchased a new Prada bag every time I am in NY, and did not this time, and probably won't again since I can't get something as simple as a tiny silver foot. What's the point of paying all the extra for the Prada name, when you can't even repair the bags if something happens to it? I love my Prada handbags, but I think I will buy another brand I can get repaired if something goes awry again! If someone decides they can spend a few minutes to assist me in getting a genuine replacement foot for my bag, please email me at madisonkelley2@hotmail.com Thank you. Kelley

I decided to buy a bag at the Prada store on 5th Avenue and the salesperson told me I needed to give him my drivers licence along with my credit card. My friend and I waited and waited for him to return with my credit card, licence and new bag. About 25 minutes later he comes out and say's " You are going to want to pull my hair out but we gave your drivers licence to another customer and they have left the store... but giggles... we still have your credit card" I asked him how that could happens and he told me the other salesperson accidentally grabbed it and gave it to the other customer who was Chinese and didn't speak English. I stood and listened to him in disbelief because he didn't seem like it was a big deal. I was visiting the city from Canada and would be returning on a Sunday without my licence. I told him that it was also a holiday in Canada on the Monday so this was a massive inconvenience to me. I would not be able to drive for 2 days upon my return and then i would have to take time off work to go and have it replaced. He told me to write down my number and if it was returned they would return it. At that point I asked to speak to the manager. She came out and told me that they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. Then the original sales person asked me... "So... do you still want the bag? " I did want it but not anymore. I have purchased 10 pair of Prada sunglasses, 2 handbags, 3 pairs of boots and felt completely ripped off by their lack of concern. The manager called me a few hours later and told me that if I could send them an invoice they would re-imburse me the cost of my drivers licence. I reminded her that this was a massive inconvenience and that the the cost to replace the licence was only a small portion of the inconvenience that their mistake was going to cause me. She then told me if I wanted to come back to the store they would give me a 10% discount. I will be without my licence for at least 2 days and I have to get to the department of motor vehicles, get to work, pay the cost of the replacement, pay for the 3 long distant calls from her telling me they did not find it but to make sure that I get an invoice as proof. None of this my fault but yet I prove that I have to get my licence replaced when they admitted they lost it. I will never buy another Prada item again and feel like removing the logo off the items I currently own.

Today, I visited the Toronto location and planned to spend $3000 for a prada handbag. I been loyal customer for many years. The sales lady was very rude from the beginning when I asked her to show me bags that made with saffiano leather in other size then the one I carried, and her answer was "No we don't have any." "Prada don't make other size." She was standing in front of them, half of the wall was full of saffiano bags! I was shocked of her answer. I had to asked her show me one by one, she was very unwilling to show me. when I asked her about the adjustment of shoulder trap to make it shorter for me to try, she again said "No. Prada don't do that." ?? Clearly the strap was adjustable, later she adjusted for me in very unwilling matter. Next I asked her where it made from? I want her to show me the tag, her answer was "Only people from Hong Kong asked that question." How rude was that? I told her I wasn't from Hong Kong. I am Canadian. When I asked her to show me more shoulder bags, she kept saying." Prada don't make that, we don't have that."?? Again they all on the other side of the wall... I felt very unwelcome, and I was planning to buy a prada today. I been checking the US website for a long time, and love certain model. So I asked her about it, she again said NO, don't have it. when I asked her if I can order it or online purchase. Her answer was "Prada don't have online store, I never heard of it. No customers asked such question beside you. Prada customer don't buy bag like to buy bag online, they only buy here." I told her I been to the us website and can purchase online. She again, said No such thing. And she also told me she can't order for me because I have to pay shipping through US and if I don't like it can't return it. Don't do it, it's not worth it." But that's how I got my other prada bag last year, the nice salesman ordered from Us and shipped to me. The lady also told me US is not as good as Canada store, they don't have much stock. I am actually planning to purchase online from US. But that's the answer I got. Clearly, the sale lady was very rude and didn't want me to purchase any prada today. Everything was No, Prada don't have it, don't make it. I have a feeling she doesn't even like Prada but works there. I was very disappointed, left me no choice but walked away. And I spent my money at Burberry instead because I really need a shoulder bag, and I felt very welcome there. I will never go to Toronto Prada store anymore, and also very disappointed of Prada bad customer service. This extremely bad experience left me feel very let down of the brand. I used to purchase my prada every time I went to Vegas, but now I am not sure I will feel the same anymore. Sorry, I know this is for US headoffice. I couldn't reach Canada office contact info.

I have applied twice and interviewed with three team members at the Soho Prada location and corporate office for a assistant management position. I have 5+ years of management including Stuart Weitzman. I have been given very little feedback on the opportunity. How are minority's going to get ahead in the fashion industry especially in leadership positions when we are not offered opportunities or menotored. Prada which has such a large market share of the Asian markets has very little diversity in the other areas of leadership and sales, As an african american professional, I am appalled that there is little color representation in the leadership. Though Prada says that it is open to diversity, there is little evidence and I have experienced this first hand. You have a long way to go towards diversity. With the african american population representing a large part of your customer demographic, it is insulting that you have no leadership representation especially in New York. There is obvious discrimination
