I discovered that Onstar has the worst possible customer service I have ever dealt with. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. This is a terribly inefficient company and so I worry that they might not come through in an emergency. My account had been in suspension while I purchased another vehicle. I notified them the day I took posession of the new vehicle. They assured me that my subscription was set up to end in November of 2012. I received my diagnostic report and the ending date was shown as May 2011. It took me 1-1/2 hours sitting in a cold car in the garage to get those dodos to get it right before. Now they have it wrong again. I wish there was another company I could switch to.

ONSTAR HAS BILLED ME THREE TIMES IN THE LAST MONT; ALL IN THE SAME WEEK. WHEN I FINALLY PAID MY SUBSCRIPTION; I SOLD AS A TRADE-IN MY CAR. NOW THEY DON'T WANT TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK TO THE OTHER CAR I GOT RID OF. IT IS SAD THAT I DRIVE A GM VEHICLE AND ONSTAR IS A GM COMPANY. WHEN I DEMANDED MY REFUND LAST NIGHT ( PAID FOR RENEWAL YESTERDAY MORNING); I WAS TOLD I HAD TO WAIT UP TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR A FULL REFUND TO MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. I HOPE AND PRAY NO ONE EXPERIENCE WHAT I HAVE HAD TO DO. 12/1/10 AND 12/2/10.

On September 8,2010 I I picked up my new 2011 Buick Regal. Recently I downloaded the OnStar Icon onto my iPhone. In trying to set it up after entering my User Name and Password it asked for a Code. I applied for that Code and received by email. Everytime I entered the Code it wasn't being accepted. I then contacted and OnStar employee by phone and was told the reason was that my Hardware was an eight and I couldn't use it because my Hardware had to be a Nine. I don't know what is going on, but having a brand new car I souldn't be having this problem?????

Good evening, my subscription for Onstar ends next month. I called to re-new but I was told I cannot be billed monthly to pay by a check. Instead I need to provide my debit/credit card number and charges will be billed automatically. Why? As a subscriber I should be allowed the option of how I want to pay for service. I do not want monies automatically withdrawn from my account. I am quite disappointed as I want to re-new but not being sent a billed monthly statement I frankly do not understand why this isn't an option. I hope this information is passed on for review and a revision of this policy. Thank you for your time and attention in this matter.
