Just read an article that states the NFL and Referees have stopped talking, AGAIN, and have no scheduled talks. The article also states that players, coaches, basically anyone who works for the NFL, face fines and suspensions if they bad mouth the replacement officials. You have got to be kidding me! The replacement officials are doing their best but in this case, their best isn't good enough. The game is way to fast and tapes and training sessions aren't going to do anything to help this season. Quit arguing over dollars to save a few nickles and get the real refs back. The replacements can, then,work their their way up with experience like they are supposed to. Then the players and coaches can go back to the regular complaining they are used to. At the beginning of the strike, lockout, whatever you want to call it, I thought both sides had valid points. The more this drags on, the more I see greedy owners trying to save a buck at the cost of what, 150 people? Let's double the amount and say 300. By the time this settles, I will have quit watching the pros and follow college ball. You're only hurting the game!

I think the league has more important things to worry about rather than what color of undershirt a player wears. Roger Goodell is a fool and he should suspend himself for all the stupid moves he is making. why don't we just make it tag football. The NFL is becoming the biggest joke of all sports.

This officiating is un-watchable. I am done until the regular refs come back. Not going to anymore games, and will not watch on TV until this is rectified. Watching and paying for complete crap...well not anymore. All of this because a billion dollar company...yes billion with a "B"...does not want to pay officials any type of pension anymore. Well the NFL doesnt want to spend it's money on the officials, so I won't spend my money on their crappy product. Plenty of sponsors I can ignore locally as well. Budweiser, Papa Johns Pizza, Ford, Pepsi...etc. I won't have anything to do with their sponsors either. The arrogance of the NFL to force feed the public this crap is rediculous.

I am one of the biggest NFL fans you will ever meet, but the games are absolutely horrible to watch this year due to these "referees." The NFL's statement that the refs are improving is a joke. What I saw in week two was garbage. The NFL is always talking about the integrity of the game if that's the case no games would be played until this issue is resolved. I know that nothing I say or do will change any of this but I can honestly say I will not watch another minute of an NFL game until the integrity of the game is restored and the refs are reinstated.

Blessings in life come in many different ways,the NFL has been one to many familys through out this great country. Now I see a difference in what people are willing to accept and not. I give my prayers to you all and hope the right thing is done for all parties involved. Please remember long ago in whom you all seeked and I believe that was TV fans and more. First you should offer no stars as a rating choice. After watching most of first half of Monday Night Football I had to change channels due to lack of control by the ref's. It was apparent that they lacked the knowledge of the rules that are in the NFL. Instead I watch Ohio State vs Cal replay from Saturday. Get of your wallet and lets get the real ref's back. Your worried about saving a nickel rather then the quality of the NFL product. Nothing worse then watching bad TV. I gotta watch alot a crappy product anyway being near Cleveland, go TITANS!!!! FIX THE PROBLEM

Goodell, Someone is going to get seriously hurt with this officiating. Earn your pay and fix it. Send theses officials back to there insurance companies.

Dear mr Goodall , how can you in good conscience let some of these replacement referees officiate. The viking-colt game is atrocious and they shouldn't be allowed to be on the field. Get the real ones back on the job!!! I love football and it's causing me not to watchit if this keeps up!

Im a ravens fan and watching the many missed calls that the replacements refs could have made it makes me wonder if the outcome of the game coudl have been different like so many other fans are wondering too. I find it totally ridiculous that there was a defensive pass interence call that the refs missed when the announcers said how could you miss that? throwing the flag could have given us a touchdown pass instead you have the puppy killer on the sidelines with his smirk because they won the game, true baltimore played like crap to say the least however there is no excuse for them to be missing calls the way that they did

I love football, but im cancelling my nfl ticket. You claim to care for player safety, your actions say otherwiYse. Unqualified and undertrained refs are unacceptable. You are not too big to fail.

Mr. Goodell I hope you are watching the Greenbay - San Fransico game and take notes how HORRIBLE the officiating is. Please rectify this as soon as possible. The officiating totaly is at the junior high level. There is tooo much at stake to let officials wreck a game.

Mr. Roger Goodell, On the chance that you actually read this letter, I read somewhere that you read and respond when you can so here it goes. I don't really know who I would email about this, if you would redirect me to the proper email address I will gladly voice my concerns to the proper person but since I can't seem to find who that is, I emailed you. This is in regards to the exclusive rights EA sports has to the NFL. I have been a proud supporter and fan of football and the Madden football game for 2 decades. I have always been there and spent my hard earned money (or my parents hard earned money when I was a kid, like I said 2 decades) on the Madden football game because it was a fantastic product that I enjoyed. I spend about $1500 a year on electronic games and Madden has always been my first priority because I am an avid football fan. But in recent years, the game has seen a steady decline in quality and by far Madden NFL 13 is the worst yet. The NFL's exclusive contact with EA has given them license to produce an inferior product and slap the NFL logo on it. Because it's our only option, everybody has made money from the games but as a fan of games and football I am here to tell you that my money will no longer be spent on this product and furthermore, I am taking this product back and getting an older game. So this letter is being written to ask the NFL to please not renew this contract with EA so that other companies have a chance to make a better game because the state of this game is awful. Not only is it's dedication to a real football experience laughable, it's general quality is horrible. If I was in charge of the mighty NFL, I would not want my proud organizations name to be used in this manner, it is truly a inferior product and John Madden's legacy deserves more. If there is someone more appropriate to send this email to, please let me know or forward it to them so the NFL fans can get the great entertainment we are paying for. As a legue you need to put the best product it the field , not embarrassing referees screaming calls on the sideline as I witnessned this past week was embarrassing to say the least . Never been so dissappointed as I was when I took my wife and daughter to the Bills and Steelers game in orchard park.It was a special day for the fans(kids day). After the game we walked out back to get some autographs like we always did before only to see a security guard telling everyone to leave the area because Roger Goodell will not allow players to sign Autographs after the game this year and anyone that would not leave the area would be considered trespassing. Is that what the NFL means... Not FanFriendly League. Roger...We as fans need an explanation on why the players can't sign for kids after the game. Mike Balliet(season ticket holder) Thank You!!
