I have tried to contact Match to inquire as to why my six month guarantee was not honored when I COMPLIED with the requirements. As far as I am concerned a six month guarantee by Match.com is no guarantee at all.

this company should be sued by a class action law firm for abuse, illegal and false advertising, not securing customer credit card details, having the worst customer service, if anything, on the planet, unauthorized charges with no leniency for refunds, no grace periods and renewals without authorization, false earnings, violations of securities laws, multiple SEC regulation violations, the list goes on.

I am very discouraged at all the blogs that I have read here because I only visited the site once, to figure out how to stop them from sending me ads. I am receiving emails from total strangers. My husband and I have not visited this site. Its very annoying!

The company should not be leagally able to charge a customers credit card without their permission! Unfortunately, this is what they did to me and apparentlly a lot of others. Their customer service reps do nothing but repeat their unfair polies which is sometimes in their fine print (not always). I am out $130.58 because they renewed my subscription withut my consent. I am consulting with a lawyer.

I am so angry about being auto billed and not finding a resolution. I feel scammed and when that happens, I get really angry. Class action law suit would be appropriate here. I was willing to pay for the additional time that my account was active but cannot resolve being billed for 6 months with no recourse.

This site is a scam along with most of the people that contact you! They are "men" that say the are widows or divorced, usually single dads that want to marry you after a 10 minute conversation. They will go so far as sending you flowers then turn around and ask you to buy them things that are needed before they come sweep you off your feet. Match does not take any accountablity, they will only blame you! Save your Money and rent a dog for the day and go jogging in the Park to meet a nice guy! In addition they will do anything and everything NOT to REFUND a dime back to you, but only refer to their disclosures???

Customer service horrendous, no pro-rated cancellation refund. Since when is it permissible to not get a refund for a crappy service? They are going to need ALOT of that scam money, 'cause the lawyers won't be cheap!!

Worst website and customer care ever! I paid only for one month membership but I found they AUTOMATICALLY renewed my account at the end of the subscription. Ok, then I completely canceled my membership. But guess what? Again, my credit card was charged the same amount!! Its rediculous u can't even talk to a real person of their customer service team!

I, too, had the problem of trying to get a refund after less than 48 hours of signing up. They said they just won't do it. Well, I'll have my bank stop payment. I'll tell people that's not a good dating service to try.

this site sucks. every other day my account is closed then i'm put on hold for hours talking to people who have no idea what they are doing. they keep telling me my account has been compromised!!!!! what the hell does that mean ? i have spoken to so many people been told do this do that and things will be ok. lies !! i was even told by a rep that one of the supervisors lied to me. right now its 10:30pm & i've been on my phone since 6:30pm with them.not only that you cant understand a word they say.i could go on and on and on but why. who in this company cares. i to will be contacting the BBB local tv stations newspapers and anyone else who will listen. i did see that there are some class action suits going on and i will join in. PLEASE ANYONE INTERESTED IN JOINING PLEASE THINK TWICE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. AT LEAST THATS MY OPINION.

match .com has continue to harrased my husband and now they are harrasing me with their emails i contacted then several times but they still continue to send advertising to my husband and now they started with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no matter how many times you asked to leave you alone because you are married they still contin ue to harras us one time they even did it by phone. nothing stop this company from their predatory tactics

The absolute WORST customer service. They have found a way to pay for their legal fees - by screwing the customer WATCH OUT FOR AUTORENEWAL. Make sure you cancel your subscription after you sign up so you don't get stuck with a blind charge. NO REMINDER EMAILS. NO EMAIL STATING THE RENEWAL DATE NO EMAIL STATING THEY AUTORENEWED YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. NO REFUNDS THEY HAVE NOT HEARD THE LAST OF ME.

Agree with above. Standard letters which are unsigned, rude customer services, automatic renewals with no reminder letters, very difficult to cancel. All in all a very dodgy company to deal with. I'm out £100 and very upset.

Match is a rip off! I cxl my auto renewal and they renewed it anyway!!!!!

Profiles should not contain pictures of minor children especially on a profile that lists the member as divorced and they are not divorced, but separated. This particular member does not have the consent of both parents to post these photos of the two minor children (both girls). Beware of profiles reading "my kids are my priority", because most often the kids are not. They are only being used as a tool to try and catch the attention of potential matches. Be smart and see what happens.

I was on Match.com from the end of March to the end of May. I have had two scammers who totally broke my heart and two men who flashed me within a week of meeting me. I have been asked to have cybersex with all my contacts and it is a horrible feeling to be stalked in cyberspace. Match.com said they screen people but the only screening they do is to make sure your credit card is in the clear. These people do not care about you at all. The Match.com commercials keep showing the same couples because those are their only success stories. I feel more raped by the company than by the cyber creeps I met. There are more negatives to this site than positives. BUYER BEWARE!! The only 'match' this company is interested in is your ID to your credit card. I am sorry and sadden that I even wasted my time. The best way to meet someone is the old fashioned way, through family, friends, and neighbors.
