What does everyone think about the Masrshalls in Revere, Mass.?
The Marshalls in Rehoboth Beach Delaware, doesn't even deserve 1 star. I have never experienced such disrespectful and horrible customer service in my entire life. Last Tuesday I purchased a dress to wear to my grandfathers funeral. I never tried the dress on before I purchased it because I had my two small children with me and I figured it would fit. After getting the dress home and trying it on the day of the event, it did not fit. I put the dress back on the hanger and layed it on my bed so I would remember to take it back. Today, I drove all the way to Rehoboth Beach to return the dress, for the cashier to contact the assistant manager that was on duty. I have now waited 21 mintues exactly for the assistant manager to accuse me of wearing the dress and re-atching the tag. All 4 tags that were on the dress when I bought it were still attached. How in the world do you reattach a tag? Not only did she accuse me of this, but she tried to embarress me in front of 16 or so customers that were in line behind me. I will make sure to NEVER shop at this store again and will spread the word to my entire family and all of my friends in the Rehoboth Beach area.
I went to the Marshalls Deptment store in Melrose Park, Illinois, I just wonder if they are waiting for a law suit, there were kids running all over the the store, it sounded like a playground, I was at a blouse rack, pulled the clothing back to view a blouse and out popped a child who had been running through the clothing. I've witnessed this on several occassions and I wonder what store management is thinking. Will it take a lawssuit to stop this
The manager wouldn't put a clock on layaway because "it was a big item".??? The checker argued with me about an item being damaged and said "No, it's not!" She never called the manager as requested to see if they would discount the item. These are the rudest store employees I've encountered in some time. Shame - I really like their art items but I will not be going there if I can find the item somewhere else. Why do they even have a layaway and not accept anything ???? Shame on you!! Very poor management and extremely high turn over rate in employees at Marshalls, Pinecroft Center, 1120 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands, TX HIGH DOLLAR VOLUME STORE!! WASTE TIME TO CALL AND COMPLAIN IF YOU'D LIKE, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!!!
The marshalls on New Halls Ferry In Saint Louis MO has a very ride coordinator I bought some perfume from the marshalls on page in overland plaza (STL) by the way the freckle face light skin lady in layaway has a stank attitude also everytime I have an encounter with her is as if she really hates her job and a ton of other people I know feel the same. OK back to marshalls on NHF.i took the perfume back at this location 45 minutes after I bought it at the one on page. I was in the parking lot @hme I neatly opened the perfume and sprayed 1 spray and didn't like it I live right by the one on NHF so I was there in ten minutes so the coordinator did the return said there not suppose to take back open perfume and threw it in the trash a couple of feet beside her she said it was policy to do that it didn't even look open...i told her everytime I'm in here there's open bottles of perfume I even pointed to some on there shelf that were open all the way with no plastic atleast the one I had still had the plastic on it she goes as far as to show me the policy on fragrance it stated if the fragrance appears to be USED discard it she didn't even open it up and look at it, it was in my possession for no longer than a hour how much perfume could I have sprayed....lol she tried to convince me that open and USED is the same thing smarter than that...if someone worked for me and they were throwing away unnecessary items just to put on a show I would fire there butts...that's was unnecessary...she still have me back my money but from now on I'm going to point out all the open bottles of perfume to them that needs to be thrown away
the store is always hot very hot in lake charles louisiana. The employees look run down and sick. How sad the customers are always told "We cant control the temperatures its done up north.
My expierance today at Marshalls in the Falls in Miami.Fl Walking threw store and came across a Dooney Bourke hand bag. Beautiful and it looked a little funny and for $149.99 for a knock off in MARSHALLs i dont think so.I brought it to the attention of Manager and Connie flat out told me it's not her problem if bag is fake i have choice buy it or they can put it back on floor for someone to purchase.I informed her that it's not fare to us customer's to spend that kind of maney on a knock off bag. I tried to show her what a real Dooney Bourke is suppose to look like she did not have time and she is not stressing this issue. I called corprate and they stated that they where going to look into and get back to me.Disappointated with handling of the knock off hand bag out on floor for sale!!!!
I am at the Marshalls in springfield mass on Boston road I go in and I have a receipt its not the original to pick a layaway because my name isn't on it I'm not able to pick up the layaway even though I had identification in the 23 years I have never experience something like that made we waste my time and my money and on top of that I came all the way from hartford to springfield never again will I shop at Marshalls
I like visiting Marshalls and buying for my family. I've never given complaints regarding the heat and the lack of employees. But for the first time in all my years of shopping at Marshalls ,I think that I need to give in my 2 cents. I put a pair of shoes in layaway and when i went to pay my layaway, I found that the shoes were in the clearance section. I ask the manager if I could pay the clearance price since they were the only one left. She said that because of the policy she could not authorize the change of price. The manager told me that I can buy the shoes that were in clearance which were a size bigger but she will not reduce the shoes that I need. I told her that ridicules. Managers should have a little common sense before opening the mouth. I left the shoes because I was upset. I told the person in layaway, that if I buy an item and I returned it without a receipt and that items was in clearance the store will only returned me at the clearance price. I bet if I return to the store the next day, I'll see those shoe on clearance. Marshalls should take some pointers from Syms. They know how to treat their costumers. This incident happen at the Marshalls located at 8700 Mills Drive, Miami Fl. on 5/8/11. I hope Marshalls really dose something about this.
I love Marshalls, but the only one near where I live in Muskegon MI is in Allendale MI on Alpine Ave, which is a good hour drive. We have a TJ Maxx in Muskegon, MI, but so many people go there (because the demographic consists of people with blue collar wages with white collar tastes) that it gets picked over very fast. Because of this I have a very good suggestion. There is a newer vacant building on Sherman Blvd in Muskegon MI where the old Target store used to be. (Target moved closer to our new mall). This vacant building is directly across the street from Sams Club, Walmart, Applebees, etc. It is perfect for a Marshalls especially since the TJ Maxx we have gets so much business there is not enough merchandise to keep up with the demand. Every time I tell someone my idea they tell me I should submit it to Marshalls, so I finally decided to.
I was in the summit ave. store on wednesday to put a glass mirror accent table on layaway to my surprise I was told that they don't have the room to put certain items on layaway plus a lamp I was so disappointed I returned the next day it was gone there was only one for 149.99 also the lamp. its not fair that store was large enough to put that small table aside I'm a senior on a fix income i would have love to have that table.If possible I would still love to own it. summit avenue store fontana, calif. 92336
Your ad with the young lady driving through a neighborhood is a terrible example for all drivers. Every state is asking drivers to stay off cell phones and keep their attention to the driving while you exhibit demonstrate all the things to NOT do when driving. Please pull this ad!!!!!!!!!
the marshall's stores in cheektowaga, ny on union rd. and the one on amelia dr. in orchard park, ny do not return your tax whenever you go in an make a return to the store. they will return how much you spent on the item, but w/o tax. they are spose to return the NYS tax we pay, but they don't. they keep it whenever i make a return. i have argued with them on it several times, and sometimes i get the tax back if i contact a manager... there have been times where i haven't gotten my tax back on a return. furthermore, sometimes they have charged me double tax on an item i buy from there.
Gateway Bronx - Really? Just a mess of a store. 125th Street/Harlem - I echo SRB 11/10/2010 East Harlem 116th Street - Was there 3/20/2011. Immaculate and organized -the manager was on the floor w/ the workers getting things done! Couldn't believe I was in a Marshalls. This experience prompted me to get online, google, and make these comments.
I love the merchandise...absolutely hate how HOT!!!! you keep your stores. I shop often for entire family. Do you realize that the weather in the Woodlands, TX and surrounding areas averages in the high 90's in the summer and currently it is in the high 70's - low 80's with humidity in the 90's. The humidity here alone makes one uncomfortable. Please cool your stores accordingly. Your loss....I seldom stay very long. Your employees look frazzled as well.

The marshalls store in Vallejo ca is horrible. I am a event planner so I get all my stuff from their I spend a lot of money in their and one of their employees had the nearv to tell me that I come in there so much that I should buy her a gift and that I'm in there to much. She made me feel like she has a problem with me shopping there. Marshalls you need to teach your employees about customer service your workers are making you loose good customers. That's a store you don't tell a customer that. You guys need to check who you hire and tell them to leave their problems at home. I'd rather shop at Ross now they carry the same products as marshalls and their cheaper. MARSHALS IN VALLEJO CA IS GHETTO.
The store in Rego Park, NY gets 0 stars. The cashiers are allowed to yell and scream and talk back to the customers. The managers support them and do the same to the customer. The manager even said I will not allow you to pay for your merchandise. My merchandise was $383.00 Can you imagine a store not wanting that sale. All of these employees should be fired on the spot, including the manager. They even told me to report them to corporate, that they didn't care. The cashier from the next cash register wasn't even waiting on me. She was interfering and began to speak very disrespectfully. The entire scence made me leave this store shaking my head as I have been shopping and have been a cashier in the past myself and know that their behavior is unacceptable.
I'm "currently" an employee at your new Santa Barbara store. One of the worst experiences of my life. It really makes me hate retail. NO ORGANIZATION AND MINIMAL TO NO TRAINING!! I'm tired of being treated like a kid. Cindy, the store manager is a BITCH!! She constantly talks down to her employees!! IT IS NOT WORTH $8.50 AN HOUR!! WHO CAN LIVE ON THAT, ESPECIALLY HERE IN SANTA BARBARA. The stress that the supervisors and managers cause is ridiculous. They don't know how to treat their employees. We have to be nice, why can't they?!?!?!?? CINDY DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE STORE MANAGER, I don't know why she is there......It would be great to see some positive changes to make their employees happier. Many have already quit because they can't stand it, and I'll be next. So good luck Marshalls you're going to need it!!!
