My husband and I stopped at the Warrenton, VA restaurant at 4:30 pm on February 9. We were promptly seated. After waiting 10 mintues for a server to show up, we got up and left. The restaurant was not busy at all. We used to frequent this restaurant; however will give second thoughts to returning again. We were promptely seated and served at the Outback just down the road.
I tried using the "contact us" feature on Longhorn's website to let them know about a substandard visit we experienced at a relatively new restaurant in Hanover PA. However, the form cannot be sent if you don't put a restaurant location in the right box. BUT THERE IS NO OPTION TO PUT THE HANOVER PA RESTAURANT IN THE BOX, SINCE LONGHORN DOESN'T SEEM TO KNOW THEY HAVE A RESTAURANT IN ZIP CODE 17331. Well now, that's one way to avoid having customers complain; don't allow them to complete the form. So not only did we have a bad meal/long wait/inattentive waitstaff, it appears we have an out of date website. No thanks, Longhorn, we will now get our steaks at Logan's.
We went to the one in Hollywood, FL. The service was bad, we waited for drinks. I ordered the flatiron steak with the portobello stuffed mushroom, when it came out there was no mushroom and the steak was very salty. My grandsons steak was just as salty. My husbands veggies were like rubber. The waitress never came back to see if we need more drinks or to see if everything was ok. When I finally got my mushroom we were ready to leave. Needless to say we will not be going back
Look... my husband and I go to Longhorn every Friday nite, although its not perfect every time, they do their best to make us happy and we appreciate it. food is so good, and will be back! Now, I have a question for corporate. I absolutely love the decor, and I would love to know your source for ordering! Please! rugs, paintings, and lighting accessories! Marcy Hendren Winston Salem NC
On my recent vist to Longhorn steakhouse in Homestead Florida, I carelessly left my wallet. Employee Jennifer Jackson found it and tried to locate me. Being from out of town I could not board my plane without an ID. The wallet was retrieved by me with everything intact. Thank you so much Jennifer Jackson! You are awesome! The restaurant is one of our favorite places and we frequent the onea in Tennessee the most. I am glad to see the world still has honest people.
when my husband and I wanted a good tasty steak, we would go to longhorn's to eat at least once a week and would split the outlaw ribeye. the last couple of visits have not been up to par because of the way the steak was cooked. One time we ordered it with NO seasoning. It came with seasoning. Aggravating to have to send something back then wait while others eat. So tonight we went and we ordered our steak medium...well it was raw and we ate around the outside. we did let the waitress know and she said 'sorry'. we didnt want it taken back and cooked longer cause we just didn't wait to wait AGAIN and everything else get cold. She didn't even offer to get the manager or anything....even tho we weren't looking for a discount on our bill, it was just common courtesy to get the manager. So not sure if we are going to keep going to longhorn's after these last two visits.
what a mistake, took my wife and children to 6841 okeechobee blvd wpb fl,waited fifty minutes to be seated got skiped by another family who arrived thirty minutes after mine, waited another twenty minutes to get an appertizer much smaller than what they used to serve,my steak was salty,my son ribs were slimy,my wifes steak was rare and she ordered it well done, they took it back then sent the same steak right out and it was still rare, they appoligized and sed they would take her steak off the bill,i sed what bill? we left without eating or paying for anythimg.Longhorn is not what it used to be nor do they meet this familys standards.Cursing solves nothing however there are a few choice words i have for what this sorry excuse of a steakhouse has become, spare your family and go elsewere.
This place is awful. The food is terrible and you could get a better steak at an Applebees or the Chili's right next door. Not only that, the wait staff and the manager at the Champaign,IL location are awful. I went here for my 1 year anniversary with my boyfriend who has food allergies. I called ahead to make sure they could make something he could eat and they said they could. WE got to the restaurant and made sure the waitstaff knew about his severe allergies. Every dish he ordered came out wrong and with things he was allergic to on it. The salad, the baked potato, and the porterhouse. The waitress was nice and said she would take it back, but then the manager, Tony, came out with the same steak that had an unknown red sauce on it that my boyfriend couldn't risk having without going into anaphylactic shock. The manager argued with us for about 10 minutes over the steak and refused to listen to our concerns. He berated us and treated us poorly. Finally, we just wanted to pay for my meal and leave but the manager refused to let us leave! He said he just put another steak on for my boyfriend and that we HAD to wait for it. So we did, unfortunately. The 2nd steak came out rare rare and was so undercooked. I don't have any food allergies and my food was not good at all either and was way too salty. Definitely not worth the price of $20-25 per person!!! Do not go here!!! The people are horrible and the food is not good. And if you have any food allergies definitely do not go here or bring your EpiPen pen with you!
I visted the Longhorn Steakhouse in Burlington, NC tonight and was extremely upset from the moment I walked in the door. The hostess lied about our wait time, saying that we couldnt sit at the bar area because a large party was on its way, that never came during our whole dinner. I asked for the manager right away and was told that they were short staffed. They had just ran out of prime rib.....at 6:30pm. Their was another couple who came in after us and was seated at the bar, which we were told we could not sit, and they later moved to a booth and had their salad and meal waiting. The manager kept coming to check on us and told us it had never been this way before, and a lot of crazy things had happend that night. If I hadnt been lied to from the beginning, I wouldnt have been so mad. Needless to say, I will not be going back to that location ever again.
If I could offer less than 1 star, I would! There is no desire for guests in the Frankfort, KY location. I called at 9:50 trying to a place an order for a DESSERT for my wife and I was put on hold. Doug picked up the line and said "I'm locking my doors in 4 minutes." So my order could not be placed. I understand and realize that it closes at 10 -- I was not asking for a grilled steak. I can assure you that if I answered the phone as such I would lose my job on the spot. I don't push away my guests.
I called in an order at the Steakhouse in Wareham, Mass. Thirty Min. later I went to pick it up. I stood at the bar for 20min and I finally went to the front and asked if someone could help me. Pat Garcelon said she was the manager and asked about the problem. She found that nobody had put the order in and the slip was at the bar. We explained the situation and with class and ease took care of the problem. Dinner was on her she said. I would go back because of her, It seemed like some of the help had no idea what was going on in the steakhouse. She is an asset to you.
i spend a lot of money here i go here a few times a week , and every time i visit the long horn at the water front location in pgh pa ,,, this bar tender named arron , is rude and never greets me , i am sooo sick of this shit ,, i am pissed
we ALWAYS go to Longhorne steakhouse in Rochelle Park, NJ, when we come back from Newark Airport. Have ALWAYS loves the service & food. However, our experience this past Monday was quite the contrary. We arrived about 5:30 (the restaurant was almost empty) - very nice, pretty waitress. But I ordered prime rib, and my husband ordered the ribeye steak. The ONLY thing edible was the sweet potato. His steak was TOUGH AS A BOOT - HE tried and tried to find an edible section, but ended up not eating it at all. I ordered my primerib medium cooked; it arrived looking gray and juiceless (obviously microwaved) and when I cut into it it was barely pink. The longer it sat, the drier it became. What a terrible dining experience.
I was a guest with 4 friends this past Saturday, 7/16/2011, at Longhorn 5200, on 11998 Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl ... got a piece of prime rib caught in my throat & could not breathe at all ... thanks to "Alex", one of your waitstaff, he performed the heimlich(?) maneuver and dislodged the obstruction quickly. I would not be alive today were it not for his quick thinking & action. Please publicly recognize Alex for his really heroic actions ... I don't know whether you folks train your staff in case of events like this, or Alex just knew what to do ... in any event, I'm deeply grateful for him ... I'll be back to finish that prime rib, too!. Sincerely, David Burcky, Table 10 Check#: 46897 826 Port Wine La., Jax., Fl 32225 (904)674 - 4822 E-Mail: dfburcky@bellsouth.net
In reference of 3 tries of eating at the Longhorn Steakhouses', within the last 12 yrs., will not ever return to another as of Feb.19th, 2012, a Sunday, involving severity of sicknesses, uncleanliness, incorrect food served, bad service, poor managment will not every give a thought of trying again. The Head-Corporation of Longhorn Steakhouse needs to close their doors. Why waste time and money where its so unsatisfactory. Even McDonalds would have been the better choice. Someone is just becoming a fat rat & doesn't care about what people want or need. No changes, No more Chances !!! close the doors !!
