Disgusting

Stayed at the LQ Clearwater, it was a nightmare!!!! Blood on the sheets, sticky bathroom floor and the room smelled so bad. Checked out spoke with the manager who could not care less. He probably lives the same way. Stay away from this one!!!!! LQ very disappointed because you really at one point cared! What happened????????

La Quinta stay

I stayed at the mansfield Texas hotel 11/14/13-11/17/17. Decided to leave on the 16th one day earlier. Upon check out, I was told I had to wait for the manager to get one day of rate back to me. I asked why I had to wait. I was told that the manager did not trust the employees when it came to cash pay. So I had to wait from 8:30am till when the manager came in at 12noon. Now why do u have employees working for u if u can't trust them to do cash transactions. This is very inconvenient to the customer to have to sit and wait for their money. Expecially when they are traveling across the states. Be careful when you pay cash. You can't win paying buying, because you may get extra charges. And you can't win by paying cash, because employees are dishonest.

we stayed at 5249 west centry blvd los angles calf, the staff at front desk great, the mads, great, your protection great, parking great, dont swim in the pool, we where there and dogs where in the pool peeing and pooing in and around the pool, and the eleverators, r a joke, u cant sleep if u have a room thats backs up to them, the mangers ryan, i called 9 times left messages recoreded, no call backs, then wenslow other manger states, where sorry i will refund you stay, sorry about dogs other people told us als. 6 days we payed for pool, did not use, they never drainned it, that is a joke, also dogs peeing in hall ways also.

Las Vegas La Quinta near Airport

This Inn is corporate owned is is a typically run down as Asian managed motel. The Room was full of cigarette smoke and very dirty. BF was typical. Why not have some hot water to heat up the cold cold boiled eggs which was not deshelled. Rate was okay. The Inn really needs a MAKEOVER. Hello Senior Management renovate this place as it has a great location. Staff do not know what they are doing. The whole operation is like a chicken with the head cut off. Your people really need to be trained in customer care and guest care. Unlike the LQ Inn in Moab I was not charged 5 times on my credit card. The sad part of I had very close friends from overseas and this Inn really made an impression on them. Worse than the Inns in their home country. The LQ Inn is worse than those in any 3rd world country especially when the LQ Inns are in the most advanced country in the world. Really disappointed.

HORRRRRRIBLE

Stayed at the LQ in Andover, MA for a wedding nearby. I love dogs, however there was a dog playing near the indoor pool. My room was nasty!!!! Not cleaned properly, hair in sink and in the shower. I couldn't sleep, people running up and down the hall all night. I screamed when I found a weird bug in bed in the morning. I contacted the manager, corporate office and also the local board of health. I lifted up the mattress to find a variety of stains. Good thing I have a short ride home..I promptly took a 30 min shower at home to erase the events of staying at the hotel!!! NEVER AGAIN! Pay a lil more for a better hotel the next time.

refund on a room

My family and I were traveling from Dallas Tx,to New MEXICO and we paid for a room at LQ. In MidlandTx.at the motel on Wall STREET. As I was going to the room we received an emergency call and had to leave, I asked the clerk Linda if she would please give me a refund because we had to leave .She wouldn't, she said for me to call the manager on Monday Aug.5,2013 .We called several times and couldn't speak to her. We called Tuesday and spoke to her, she said for us to call the supervisor, we did speak to her on Tuesday (Mrs.Sanchez) and she said they had refunded it to us, today is Sat. August 10 and there hasn't been a refund . Would the CEOs Mr. Goldberg, Mr. Weiss or Mr. Lombordi. Please help us, we have rented LQ rooms since 2005 .we are disabled and can't afford to just lose $142.00 .We would appreciate your help on this . Thank You Debra Nieto

Bad stay

About a week and a half ago, I stayed with my family at a La Quinta Inn in Norfolk Virginia and had no problems. However, we drove to Salem Virginia and were given a room that had black mold on the ceiling and on the walls of the shower. The carpets in the room were also damp and smelled bad when we checked in. The offered us another room but had to have this room for personal reasons. I have never had any other problems with your chain. I just wanted to let someone know that this hotel is not up to the standards I was use to. Thank You.

Bad, Bad, Bad

I booked reservations for my family @ the W. Sahara facility in Las Vegas 2 weeks in advance of their arrival. I saw the flyer on the check in counter that said if you use a debt card it takes 14 days for refund. therefore, I used my American Express to reserve the two suites. My family came. Calling the rooms a suite is a stretch. 3 days after they leave, I get a bill from American Express, charged to my account 1 day after they left and paid for their own rooms. When I went back to explain the mistake and show the billing statements, the evil woman @ the check in counter told me it was going to take 14 days to refund my card. I picked up the flyer on her counter about debt cards and that I was advised to use a credit card. She was so nasty and finally she reversed the billing. Still not showing on my American Express a week after my family is gone. I've got a million choices in Las Vegas for my family to stay. La Quinta won't be one of them again.

Myself, young child and husband were staying at La Quinta near west palm beach in Florida. Our room was located on the bottom floor near the lobby. For two days & nights our room was literally surrounded by yellow construction tape. Apparently no one employed at this facility feels obligated to forewarn us that they were remodeling. Drilling, slamming, banging in the early a.m. along with the smell of chemicals poured into the halls and our room. Furniture was being stacked beside our doorway, literally blocking entry to our room. Dust, dirt, and other fragments were what we had to walk in when we entered & exited our room. The La Quinta staff & management were all aware of our frustrations and offered an apology...sorry that won't do. We will NEVER MAKE FUTURE RESERVATIONS WITH LA QUINTA INN.

Fabulous

I work at a very nice hotel (competing chain) in Northern Colorado. But La Quinta in Trinidad, Colorado tops them all!!! It has a cozy, family atmosphere, but at the same time it is very elegant. Breakfast bar is excellent, the property throughout is immaculate, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Employees all seem to be happy. I love this place. The town of Trinidad is precious . . . quaint, charming, well-kept, full of history, outstanding views. Don't miss it.

I was appaled at the reno site. I'm was housekeeping mgr of another competition .I've stayed at the Hayward one bravvoooo ms Emrick! But reno really mold dirty walls dirty carpert people don't smile chaulk round floor in b room yuck hair on floor dirty bathroom. I have pic! I was appaled. Someone needs to check the rooms...I would never let. the rooms pass inspection. Floor in breakfast bar was dirty.. .REALLY RENO YUCK!!!"

Car Vandalized

I had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Hampton, VA site on W. Mercury Blvd, June 21-25, 2013. The hotel was filthy, the elevator was disgusting. I thought I would make the best of it, since it was too late to change and not many other options that would be any better. On the 3rd night of my stay, my car was hit so hard, I am unable to open the front passenger door. When I found this the next AM, I reported it to the front desk and made police report. The officer said this was a good case that should be easy to find the guilty party. He would come back and get with the mngr to review their security video. It has been 3 wks and the officer has not ret'd my calls, the mngr has not reviewed the video, nor ret'd my calls. This is reprehensible. To boot, I had my 92 yr. old godmother with....now I understand where the bite marks on her bottom came from. DISGUSTING!!! I wouldn't stay at a La Quinta Inn again if you paid me. They give dives a bad name.

double charged for room in santa te

several attemps to contact the Santa Fe Mgt they will not Call back. Turned over to my Credit Card company. I was suppose to get a Military Discount, since I am a disabled Vetern

bed bugs

I stayed at the La Quinta Inns & Suites on June 14, 2013 and checked out on June 15, 2013. I stayed in room 201. The morning I awoke I began to have irritation on my skin. I was not sure what the irritation was but it got worse throughout the day. When I returned to WA State my symptoms, burning, swelling and itching, got much worse. I went to urgent care on Jun 16, 2013 and learned that I was attacked by bed bugs when I slept at the La Quinta Inn. The one I stayed in was located at 7622 IH 35 North, Austin, TX 78752. One of the staff informed me the room was newly painted and the entire bed was newly replaced. I am not certain if the carpet was replaced. However, if with the replacements the room is infested with bedbugs. I was symptomatic for three weeks.

During our vacation to Destin FL, we stayed at LaQuinta in Hattiesburg, MS. It was filthy, not just dirty...filthy. On the way back I thought I would give the LaQuinta in Lafayette, LA a chance. OMG, bad mistake. The rooms are old and run down. The man running the front desk was nice and apologetic..he was the only person working here!! Bless his heart. Ice machine was broken, 50 plus people in the pool being very loud, outside doors, and just not my type of hotel. I am very disappointed and I will never, ever stay in another LaQuinta. Take care of your properties!!!

accomadations

The most horrible place to stay!!! Do Not walk barefoot on the carpet as it is filthy and your feet will be black. The walkways are are dirty and stained. If you like parking in an oily gravel parking lot, have fun getting grease stuck to the bottom of your shoes. Do not leave anything in your room as it will be stolen including your shoes, clothes, and of course valuables. They will not hold your reservations to the rooms promised to you even if you call 2 times on day of arrival to make make sure that the reservation is in place. When your room has things missing, no manager will contact you or call the police for you. I could go on but it gets worse. A nightmare of rooms in Ventura, California

Outstanding

I have just checked into your Amarillo La Quinta And was treated like your employee really cared . I had the displeasure of talking to you call center who gave false information . But the woman at the counter made things right in every way . If you hired more people like her the sky would be the limit for your line of hotels . I truly thank her .

Don't Go

During January to March of this year, 2013, I had a horrendous stay in Crowley, LA at the La Quinta there. There were many issues that affected my visit, but what influenced it most importantly was being bitten by bed bugs. I ended up with bites covering my arms, ankles and neck. It was miserable, but what was worse was the idea of having them possibly transferred to my home. Thankfully, they were not transferred, but I will not be staying at that hotel again.
