I have a 1997 honda accord, which at one point I loved. Due to economics I have to keep it. I have always taken very good car of my car. The last 18 months I have had to do some serious repairs. OK it's an older car, I get it. What I don't get or like is being treated sp BADLY at the San Maros, TX dealership. feb. 2011 I took it in with a window problem, I get a call my water pump is leaking so I say fix it, and that's a good time for a timing chain. My bill was 1200.00 dollars. I also was told my rear seal was leaking and I shoul get it taken care of. I asked and they told me I had 3 or 4 months. So I took it back in April, and they told me it wasn't leaking. Well I have it in writing what I was told the first time and the service guy (Ceasar) was basically saying I was a lier. I had proof and he would never own up to his mistake. If my bill hadn't been $1200.00 I would of had a $200.00 repair done that I didn't need. This week, July 5th my car wouldn't start. Finally a few hours later my husband got the car going and he took it straight to SM Honda, I get a call from ED and he tells me it's my full pump and I should have my main relay switch changed also. I also need my AC worked on. Plus a couple of other things that could wait. I approved the AC work and the fuel pump and relay switch. ED told me the cost encluding labor. I get a call today that my car is fixed and he tells me it is $529.02. I tell him we will be by later to get it. When my husband and I got there and recieved the bill it jumped to $926.02. That's not what I was told and ED lied to David and told him he told me $926.02. HE DID NOT TELL ME THAT. Plus I had a full tank of gas and when I went to leave I had just under a half tank. Is it because I am a women? I am furious that these guys are not telling the truth. I have talked friends into buying Hondas, but I am now going to each some major crow. I have a witness from work what I was told. I let one repair go that I never complained about. I had to have the grease boot on one of my front tires replaced and they didn't tighten up the axil and when I left from work, well lets say the car was towed back to Honda. I thought wel things just happen and blew it off. But now I am starting to think that women are not being treated very well. David did adjust the bill to what I was told $529.02, but I am sick of them treating me like I am a lier. I AM NOT. I'm not forsure what my next step is. Lets see how you treat me. Candie Engstrom

Hi, I'm from Edmonton, Alberta and I have Honda CRV 2006. I noticed that VSA and ABS lights are on and they stay on while I'm driving the car. I went and brought the car into the dealership, mechanic checked the car with dealer error code 66 1 brake pressure sensor failure and he says I need to replace the vsa modulator and said it is system failure and to fix it would cost about $2,000! If it is a system failure it should be repair at no cost, I believe. I checked some of the forum regarding this and they have the same problem with the VSA and ABS lights on. I also believe that you guys in Honda headquarters has concern about this situation and Honda should absorbing the cost for the part and our dealer. I know that Honda's loyalty to us as buyers has ensured our continued loyalty for future purchases.
Let me begin by saying that I am Pro-Honda Goldwing person, and have owned a 2002 and loved it. I just bought a NEW 2010 and have approx 1,300 mi, since this bike rolled out of the dealer I have had a prob;em with the engine fluctuating or better known as (Surging) at idle speed,and the Bike has actually shut down 2 times with me and once at a Honda dealer while the service writer was pulling it into the shop. Honda Tech line was called and the Dealership was told to reset the ECM, which resulted in no inprovement. This problem after reading comments this problem on many Goldwing sites is not distinct to my bike but widespread, yet Honda has not been helpful at all, in solving the issue that plaques seemingly the 2010 Goldwings in partcular, I paid 23K + for this bike and have ridden it very little because of this problem, the Honda Dealership that I have taken it to, is also frustrated and of course that adds to my frustration and anxiety. When will Honda figure this problem out, and make these Goldwings SAFE to ride.

My 2008 CRV began having a tire leak problem within a few months of purchase. The first few times the 'tire light' came on I immediately went to a Honda dealership that provided nitrogen air for my tires as I paid extra to have the 'nitrogen air'. Over time, after being told that my tire pressure was down only a pound or two [after 2-3 months of 'tire light', I adjusted myself for a top up every 2-4 months depending on distance I would be driving over the next month or so. Last Friday, April 29, 2011, I took my car to my local Honda dealership [have moved across the state from previous location]. Instead of jacking the offending tire up, the capable technician raised the entire vehicle. He then went over the offending tire very carefully. He removed any and all pebbles etc. he found in the tire, as he tried to discern where the problem lie [he is the first technician to do this]. The problem was a tiny nail that even at eye level looked like a small pebble. He removed the nail, put a plug in the tire and hopefully there will not be any further problems. I would like to commend this young man, he is a credit to Honda. His name is ALEXAN CABRERA, his Tech. number is 187 [one hundred and eighty-seven].
