My graduation announcements arrived with a big gash in them that went clear through to the one at the bottom of the stack! It looks as if someone dropped a corner of something very heavy on them. Who would have put these in the box and mailed them?! The graduation is in eight days. I haven't been able to call to complain. Does the company read its Customer Service e-mail? I hope so, but doubt it.
Same as above. Graduation announcements ordered when their rep visited my son's school in early March. Still nothing. Have called many times - usually 40 minute wait each time. Was repeatedly told someone would call back. No calls. Order still shows "in processing". DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT !!!
Do not order from this company!!! I ordered announcements for my daughter's graduation in March. The turnaround time was quoted to me as 10-15 days. I have not received any products that I order and it is now the end of April. The customer service representative I talked with is very rude and unprofessional. His name is Chris and he will always tell you that your order is in production. This ia a ruse to keep you thinking that progress is being made. Find somewhere else to order from. Please take this warning seriously!!!!!!
I would urge anyone ording announcements from Herff Jones to go through another company. How disappointing it has been dealing with them. I ordered over $100.00 in annoucements from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine only to receive them 3 weeks prior to graduation leaving little time for out of town guests to be informed of the arrangements. Original order was placed in March! I think they should go back and review RULES OF ETIQUETTE! If a rating of minus 10 stars I would give them that! I was also shorted inner envelopes and called Easter weekend on a Monday to find out they were closed. The busiest time of year and they are closed..unbelieveable. Wrote a comment to their customer service department and have yet to receive a reply. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERFF JONES! Someone needs to give them some competition.
I am TOTALLY dissatisfied with this company. I placed an order with Herff Jones over 4.5 weeks ago. My son's graduation is in less than 2 weeks! I have called the office in Mississippi to absolutely no avail! I also tried sending emails only to be passed to the representative in the local Jackson, Miss. office. She has also since not been responsive. After calling literally 22 times, I finally was able to get through to a live respresntative who assured me that I would receive my order over 10 days ago. Well, that also has not happened. I agree with all of the above, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! RUN!
If I could rate with negative stars I would. I have never ever had such terrible customer service. I ordered college announcements and paid $65 extra for rush delivery that I was told would be out in 5-7 days. Twenty days later still no announcements. My son graduates in eleven days. Now after sitting on hold for over an hour, I am told that they will have to process a refund by check. This is a violation of credit card laws. If you pay by credit card they must refund by credit card. The Assistant Director, Renee told me there was no one who could help me and hung up on me. I have spoken to several other parents just from our small school and they have had the same issues. PLEASE do not use this Company if you want to have a stress free graduation.
My son is graduating in less than one month....Herff Jones received my order and placed it in the Manufacturing Department on March 7th. I was told that his invitations would be here in 10-15 business days. It is now April 9th and i still do not have the announcements. I have spoken to Herff Jones 6 times this week, only to be told that this is their "Crunch Time" and cannot tell me when they will be finished. I am extremely frustrated and plan on contacting the Corporate Office on Monday. The Greenville branch CSR can give me no answers. Kia stated she would get back with me and never did. Believe me i will never order from this Business ever again and plan on telling anyone i know that Herff Jones has very poor service and do not have very professional employees.
I am also very unhappy with their customer service for the Davie, Florida branch. We ordered a 2011 hoodie for my daughter which I paid for online in October 18 2010. I realized that we had never gotten it so I emailed an inquiry asking what the status was. "Chuck" told me that they had been back to the school 5 times and delivered what was owed. I responded that, ok, what does that mean, we never got anything. He responded saying "there was nothing to research" and actually blamed my daughter and questioned why she didnt come pick it up when they were there 5 times. My daughter told me that they have not been back, and we were never notified by text, email phone call mailing whatever... Just poor customer service. He basically said, whatever... so rude. I will think twice before I purchase anything from them again and also will notify the school of my experience as well. I am active with the school so I know my complaint (while it may do nothing) will be heard. Disappointing. For Herff Jones, you would think that since they specialize in special occasions (I mean graduating is a big deal, right) that they would be more proactive in making sure that the seniors were sporting their 2011 jackets, whatever but they just don't care.
Same here my son place his order in 10/10, because the Herff Jones rep told him that if he did not order his package then he would not be able to order later. He purchase the package of choose and paid with his credit card. He was told at the time of purchase that his card was approved. 1/4/11, I get a phone call from Karen who was very nasty and unprofessional. I explain to her that the card was approved in October. Per Karen, if I did not give her another card number today,my son would not get his package. I told karen I need to speak to someone else, becasue I would not have her speak to me like that. I spoke with Meagan and explain to her that I can send a copy of the statement that shows the amount was deducted from the card. I explain to her how rude Karen. Meagan never expressed an apology at all. Per Meagan, I hope we get your statement today.Herrf Jones(Charlotte Branch) has a very poor system and management system. Karen and Meagan were very nasty and unprofessional. I wished I could find another company who could give us the same deal. I have began to look.
Wow. I had the same awful experience with Herff Jones in Houston as Marion did in Orlando. I placed an order in April for a graduation frame and haven't received it yet. (June 30th) I tried to call the Houston office but no one ever answered. I emailed them and received excuse after excuse about why the phone wasn't working or why they didn't get back with me when they said they would. Oddly enough...there was never a reason why the frame was not sent to me in the first place. After a week of emailing back and forth, I was told that the representative was on vacation and couldn't bring it to my daughter's high school and anyway, they didn't have a box to mail it in (WHAT!?!?), and then after paying $96.00 in April, I was told I could go to their office and pick it up!!!!! The lady I emailed was never rude, just full of excuses...a very poor way to run a company. I wish the school district I work for would drop Herff Jones as our cap and gown provider. I finally received the order I made April 14, for my granddaughter's graduation materials. The Orlando Herrf Jones has a very poor system and management system. Kareen Bryant (Orlando Branch) was very nasty and unprofessional. I paid for my order with my credit card & did not received my package & she was unduly rude. Herrf Jones is not the Herrf Jones I have dealt with in the pass. Thanks, corporate office for contacting the Orlando Branch Office. The office ignored my calls and my e-mails. Worst service ever! You cannot reach them at all. They cancelled my kid's ring order with NO notice, and then told me that I cannot get a refund, and will have to wait 8 weeks and pay $120 more just to reorder!!! Horrible service, you'd do better going to Walmart!!!!
