I have been a loyal customer for 10yrs or more... but you just took away sopranos/curb/sex in the city... WHY... showtime plays there series over and over again... and the whole series not just a few episodes... I think for the first time in 10yrs I want SHOWTIME ... and I will be dropping HBO ... WHAT ARE YOU THINKING....

To whom it may concern, I have been a loyal subscriber for as long as I can remember. My family and I were huge fans of the Sopranos, Sex and the City, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, and now Game of Thrones. Although Bill Maher is extrememly political, we understand that he is an individual and since his shows aren't scripted, they do not necessarily represent HBO's views. Then we had the issue with Game of Thrones producers proudly proclaiming that they had put President Bush's head on a spike. Again, we chose to overlook it because HBO came out and immediately condemned it, although just turning the head around slightly doesn't really resolve the problem. However, last night I tuned in for the first time to the Newsroom, and I was thoroughly disgusted. The particular scene I was watching was when the "tea party patriots" were being interviewed and it clearly was being used as a vehicle to attack the Koch Brothers and broaden the reach of the Democrat's agenda. I watch tv to be amused, not to receive a lecture. Maybe Newsroom as also done an episode on Solyndra, or AG Holder being held in contempt but somehow I doubt it. Around 50% of the United States of America is conservative, and I think it is very wrong to tailor so much of your programming to the liberal side.

I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed we are at your decision to cut the legs off 4 running shows. Hung, Made in America, Luck and Bored to Death were ALL great shows with great story lines (worth the monthly fee), we watched the religously. Without warning YOU decided to cancel the very shows we follow. HBO's credibility is lost, not matter what you bring to the table next you can't be trusted to bring a program/series to a reasonable ending. We are done with HBO for that reason and that reason only. Netflix will be a better option, at least we can watch programming to it's end.

I have been watching HBO since they were still mailing VHS tapes to local cable companies . I loved HBO. NOT ANYMORE . The vile anti american trash they have chose to push on the public is unforgivable. HBO thinks they can sway the vote??? We will see. Bill Maher and the "Network" . Cause me anger everytime I watch it . More than 60% of this country is conservative and always will be. HBO has taken a very bad risk by choosing to be biased. I will cancel today . And i recommend everyone else do the same. Go back to entertainment . Stop the brainwashing LIES. Or suffer the massive rating downfall after the election. Sickeningly "politically correct" and Leftist like most programs on your network, "The Newsroom" won't survive another season. As you bend over backwards to anesthetize people about the threat of Islam by attempting to nullify a jihadist attack with the apocryphal announcement that a "good" Muslim reported the incident; as you falsely deny that Barack Hussein Obama is a Socialist despite clear evidence to the contrary; as you attempt to paint a group of patriots who believe in America in the vision of the Founding Fathers as "right-wing extremists," you move further away from the mainstream and turn off more and more viewers. Shame on you for dishonoring diversity of opinion and attempting to indoctrinate viewers with your dribble! You will not subvert what made this country great and extinguish the hopes and dreams of those who live by the traditional Judeo-Christian values of proud and honorable Americans.

I really like HBO but please take a balanced direction with your new show The Newsroom. The arguments made it today's show were below HBO. Attacking the TeaParty and comparing it to SDS? They are nothing like each other, even in the beginning. It also talked about the Coke Brothers. True the Coke brothers fund AFP but what does that have to do with the TeaParty? The TeaParty is mostly funded by private low donations. Communists support parts of the democrat party, give members of the house awards (look it up, there is video out there), and you go after the TeaParty? Do some homework, there are much more dangerous things in the world right now then people who are non-violent and even clean up the trash, and do community service everywhere (like the TeaParty). OWS was daily calling for revolution, and pushing for violence (Watch video of their leadership, its out there). Whoever was doing your research on that really made HBO look bad. The news anchor is supposed to be conservative but I don't feel there was one conservative on the show. Please get with it HBO, are you about putting out good shows or pushing and point of view? And for the critics of Bill Maher. This is still a free country and I am glad they have outspoken people on HBO. I just hope they can find a conservative Bill Maher. Bet if they do, his ratings will run laps around Bill’s.

Could someone at hbo please tell me how many times" Life as we know it" has played on one of the 9 hbo in the last 6 months?I am sure that 90% of subscribers have a dvr and if anyone wanted to see it has. My guess is 153 times,and am sure that is low. I would also cancel hbo if you take Bill Maher off. It's comedy you uptight right wing haters. Do everyone a favor and have something new for more then couple hours a day. So many great movies that are worth replaying and how many true blood fans need it repeated 40 times a week.

I have subscribed to HBO on my cable since 1983. The last 3 years HBO has changed movies,music and comedy to a political network for the Democratic party, I refuse to pay for political indoctrination and not entertainment. I will cancel HBO because of the present political content.

I love HBO I really do as a matter of fact I love HBO so much I would gladly pay for a streaming subscription. HOWEVER I will NOT pay a one dime as long as I have to pay extortionists like Comcast to get the channel. Therefore HBO and I are still broken up and the future looks bleask since the CEO stated that the stream phenomenon is simply a blip and will go away when the economy improves. Word to ya MR CEO: I never lost my job and I have steadly recieve raises for the last 6 years and still decided streaming was a more prudent choice. I will not, absolutely will not give one dime to any cable service provider. I will wait until the shows I like come out on DVD and stream them on one of my devices (or purchase a pirated version) You Mr HBO CEO need to know that there is more to this than just dollars and cents. The general public is tired of being reamed for their hard earned cash and if I can save a buck no matter the economy I will do it. Now if you were to charge me to stream HBO for the same amount that Comcast was charging for your channel I would be a loyal paying customer. Oh I like Bill Maher, Game of Thrones, True Blood and a score of others.

My wife and I just watched the premiere of Newsroom. You have a hit on your hands. I have never seen a better produced and subject matter series on television in my 62 yrs of life. I hope your writer's can keep up the great work. The cast is great and fun to watch. I look forward to watching the next episodes! 5 Star rating

Via Dish Network I have been a subscriber for many years. Over time your programs have become more and more "anything goes" and politically biased to the left. Your recent Game of Thrones with the head of George Bush on a stake is a demonstration to me that you are aiming at an audience which doesn't include my family. I have cancelled my subscription, will talk with friends about my dissatisfaction with HBO, and will not renew.

my companys have mediacom direct tv and comcast we are now taking steps to remove HBO AND CINAMAX services OFF all our communications . most or all of your bizzzness is not required with our companys or anything conected with our people.
