Terrible Company
I ordered a lawnmower and when I received it the lawnmower was broken. I called them and informed them of the cap being broken and the encasement was bent. The sent me a cap; however, fail to put my other complaints on file. I went to use the lawnmower and the pulley did not work. I called them and they sent a return label and told me to make sure the gas is removed before sending it. Took the tank off and put it in a plastic bag. Three weeks went by with no credit to my account. I called them and they said they will not give a credit as the lawn mower is broken. Duh i told them that in the first place. I am so pissed as I have paid my bill on time every month and now I receive this type of service. Then they tell me they are not allowed to give the corporate office number. Really
COUPON FINGERHUT SCAM
I am not happy with fingerhut coupon honor system - I used the NC693 coupon 10 dollars of your $50.00 purchase.I bought 49.99 dollar item and a 2.99 dollar item both combined over 50.00 . Fingerhut cancelled my 2.99 item (TWICE) because ,I ordered twice to see if there was some error on my part. Costumer service said $2.99 item would not reach the time expectation for shipping-How ridiculous . Even though THE 2.99 item is IN STOCK , THEY STILL cancelled twice - i can not get 10.00 off my 49.99 because you decide not to sell me the 2.99 item -This is a sad day when you guys don't honor your coupons

Paid my fingerhut bill using their on line option. A week later I was billed the late fee and advised that I had not paid my bill, although it was never presented to the bank for payment. I called six different times and all I got was rude, unprofessional, foreign customer service representatives. Once this account is paid off in a couple of months, I will never do business with them again.
Unsatisfactory Rating
I just received approval for my first Fingerhut account. Right away I had misgivings, as my middle initial was entered incorrectly online. Got that corrected. Placed first order. Lawn Mower ordered was not identified until page for order confirmation as being out of stock for six weeks... too late to edit or cancel order. Called customer service and was cut off twice. One person said available balance would be back into account in 24 hours. Cut off. Second person said order was not cancelled, but would have balance back into account in 72 hours. Cut off again. Called customer service third time. This time told it would be 48 hours and she allegedly did put in request for order cancellation. This resembles the Keystone Cops more than a professional operation. I will give it one more try before closing account entirely.
Placed an oder/never received the order/They will not answer correspondence-will not return my money.

Very Unhappy Customer
Can you believe this - I spoke with 8 Fingerhut Representatives, I think, from Customer Service to Collections to Past Due Department and learned that these people do not read the same book. In addition there was a game of phone tag over a three-day period. Never have I encountered these problems with Fingerhut but I would not recommend this company to anyone. We will see if I get a response from this review.
Your way of business is not consumer-friendly. I have never been treated like this before. I fell behind a few payments. My wife, who stays at home due to her disabilities, gets 2-4 phone calls a day and when she tells them to call later, they give her an attitude. One time they were calling when I was talking to another person from Fingerhut. I wish that I never bought anything from you and I will never do again. I will tell my friends not to buy from you, either. Please, tell them to stop the calls. I beg you. I can't rest at home because of the calls. My wife is going to have a have a nervous breakdown.
Poor shipping / WORST Customer Service
Not only was my first (and ONLY) order with fingerhut.com late (they said their so-called delivery date is only an "estimate" and "they cannot be responsible for the carrier ship time), but their customer service response (via chat, email and phone) have refused to deal with the issue. VERY POOR SERVICE!
No Tech Support team
I have been unable to navigate in my online account. It keeps asking me to authenticate my account. I enter my ssn and it sends me an e-mail with a link to change my security questions. The problem is that whether I click on the link or cut and paste, it still takes me back to the authentication page again. I have called them 5 times regarding this issue and only today did a customer service rep admit that they do not have a tech support team. I am so done with this company. I'm paying what I owe and then I am done with them for good.
Leadership of Morons
Fingerhut is being led by a Leadership of Morons, along with the banks, loan companies, other department stores, etc in this country. My wife has an account with Fingerhut and she got a letter from fingerhut praiseing her for her excellent payment record. The funny thing is my wife doesn't make any payments to Fingerhut. I make all the payments on her account! I tried to get a Fingerhut account in my name and their bank (Webbank) denied me because I have a poor credit rating! Wake up morons and give people a chance to improve their credit. Don't go by what these jackasses at these credit rating agencies say!!
Terrible!!
I selected NOT to receive emails from them (seeing as I was using my work email) and every day I have been receiving soliciting. I have emailed them about four or five different times and they will not give me the information to contact a manager or someone in the corporate office. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Terrible, terrible, terrible
Ive been a good customer for a long time and can't get Fingerhut to acknowledge anything thru emails and snail mail letters. A paltry $75 order and I've been dunned by both mail and phone. I pay my phone bill so that I can use the phone, not them. They have two bank accounts listed for me that I've used for years, and apparently cant get their billing right. Each month has a "Paid" and "payment reversal" listed even though each of my banks tell me that no bill from Fingerhut has been presented. I'm beginning to think they do this on purpose just to add late charges to the accounts.
Bad customer Service
I mailed by Feb 2013 payment on time. Got called they didn't get payment. We waited a week then i called still no payment. did a check over the phone.. was charge 19.99 for late fee which i got it reversed but my credit limit was lower. Today i call and that missing payment was posted.In Feb i was almost called a liar. It was misdirected my the U S Postal Service. Your customer service all they said was sorry about that. Well Sorry Fingerhut was doing business with your co. since 1968 but no more.
I purchased two items for our children at Christmas time. Paid full amount due & have bank statements. They call my phone 5 times a day stateing I need to make a payment. This is BullShit!!! AGAIN I have paid in full! So I suggest if you don't want a law suit STOP harassing me & my family my wife just had surgery & can't even rest because of phone ringing all the time. So this is last time this is fair warning!!!!!

for starters, just like you all, I have had an issue of them trying to bill a product to my account we did not order. we got them to take it back and credit our account, but no one there seems to know how this has happened nor why. I have been pursuing this since dec. 2012 and today is march 1, 2013. I have suspended making payments on the account until resolved. Hate this company..NEVER AGAIN
When this company makes a mistake and send your products to your mailing address and not the shipping, it's all on you. Everything I have received from them has been made in China and I think I am so done with them. I mean SO DONE... They recently increased my credit limit from $400 to $1400. You want me to tell you what they can do with that increase? Send it to China.

Beware one and all.. this is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. They have the absolute worst customer service. They are very rude, they hang up on you and you can barely understand a word they are saying. The products are also not as they look. I received a bedding set that was white, gray, and blue in the picture and the colors were in fact beige, chocolate brown, and navy blue in person. Unreal. How about cancelling your credit account with them only to find out they never cancelled it but raised your credit limit! Can't they get in some hot water for that?!
A reshipment. I saw the tracking number stating 2 packages were delivered to the office of my apartment complex. Only 1 was actually delivered. I know these mistakes happen all the time. Also the ASUS laptop is a piece of junk- it is an obsolete and discontinued model that Best Buy sold for $150 less than your price. They no longer sell this because it had a lot of problems. Please DO not sell me or send me any more overpriced Junk. Thank you. Mr. Garcia
