I just recently signed on to sell avon they gave me a bag filled with procures and that was that i have no idea gow to even begin? Can anyone help me? Thank you for your time
i placed a huge order that i was charged for but never received,i have made numerous attempts at resolving this matter and have had no response. I would love to sell Avon and believe i would be very good at this but i can't order because i refuse to pay for an order i never signed for nor received.
I have to say that I am shocked to hear all the bad complaints about AVON. I am having a great time with them, serving my customers. I am not a Leadership Rep and I am enjoying serving my customers every campaign. I am getting ready to return some items so I'll see how that goes (a few people commented on) and as far as customer service, sometimes I think I have them on the line too long answering all my questions. They've been good to me. Sorry to hear about all the bad things that you all are saying have happened to you. I'm a new rep, and one thing I've noticed with all of you commenting is that you have all been reps for years. Will it get worse for me? Hope not. Want to be successful, and hope to have many years of success and that things will get better.
Three months ago i have made an order with a rep. A week later I only got half of my order. the other half was on back order which i understand that when this item goes on sale in the book it goes fast. the rep that i ordered from has not called or said nothing to me and she lives right next door to me. my husband went to ask her what is going on about the other half of the order. she just gave him the run around about it. it has been over 2 months since we heard from her. we want the product or the money back that we paid for it.
I know this is a site for Representatives but I am a buyer and Avon has messed my order and credit card account up big time. I order online (suppose to be easier) and my order came late and my card was charged twice. My order is still showing as processing online and they really don't know how they are going to put my money back on my card as it is still in the "authorization" mode. So, after two customer service people, the money Avon stole, yes stole, because it was not electronically authorized by me for them to make the transaction (stole because Avon charged me a different amount that what they previously charged me and what my total actually was) is sitting in limbo because they have passed my account to the billing department which I am sure it is sitting in someone's queue to be processed. What can my Rep do? Not a darn thing!!!!All I have heard from Avon is "we had problems with our computer". You would think that a company this big would have a process in place for mishaps. Contact your people to see who had problems with their online purchase and ask them if they will ever order online, heck, ask them if they will ever order Avon again!!!No this gal. I am going to find me a Mary Kay rep.........
AVON could care less about all the negative comments put out there...the only thing that gets their attention is slipping sales...when it starts affecting their bottom dollar, that's when they care..actions are way better than words...It's so simple. Stop buying and selling. Enough people do this and you'll see a change. Aside from that they don't care which is why they have India picking up their calls and poor, almost non-existent customer service. Ever try and get someone on the line who could actually help you with your problem? Very rare. But, they could care less. It's just the bottom dollar they care about. Mess with that and then they'll react..until then, so what they have disgruntled employees..so what reps are mad because they have to pay more out of pocket than they actually sell...so what...that's the way it is and you can either like it or lump it..Now, enough people lump it to make a difference, then you will see a change in their song and dance...In the mean time (yawn) the negative comments are just annoying to them, like a fly that just buzzes around you in a circle no matter how many times you swat at it, it keeps coming back...that's what the negative comments are to AVON, an annoying fly. Annoying but tolerable. I left a few years ago and I'm happier for it. I'll consider coming back when there are some real changes to how they run this business. 1. Stop making us pay for these brochures..that doesn't even make sense. If it sounds stupid, it pretty much is stupid. 2. Get some English speaking customer service reps that can actually help us with our problems in one phone call. Stop being so greedy and bring those jobs back to the U.S. because until you do, I don't consider you an American company. You're just another foreign company. BUY AMERICAN AND GIVE IT GOOD TO THESE CORPORATIONS! 3. Get a 1-800 number for your reps. You mean to tell me a big Corporation like AVON, slinging all that money, can't afford to have a 1-800 number for their hard working reps? That smells of something really foul. 4. Make some of these so called Leaders and Managers responsible for their foul behavior. The way it's set up now, if they do us wrong, there are no repercussions. We just gotta stay mad and take it. 5. Your 100% money back guarantee is nice...for who? Please tell me who is the genius that came up with that one and I'll point out to you the Cracker Jack box their "professional" degree came from. Seems the only person stuck and loses money on that deal yet AGAIN, are the innocent, hard working reps. 6. That bootsy, chintsy website you provide should be free, no exceptions. Puuleeze.
I have been selling avon for years and I can not believe how bad your company has become in the last year. Avon has always been a reptible company. No longer is so, I have had issues after issues come up , I cant get a return call from a regional manager or district manager, I can get my products . They are charging me for camp orders I never received. It is a discrase that you have let such a known and profit company go to shame. At this point I dont even know if I want to sell avon after 10+ years. And the best shame of all is when you atlanta office hang up on there reps just not to help them. What shame..... I am only on person but you can bet that this will eventually hit the spot light and ignoring the comments that have been made by several will come back and bite. A very unhappy rep and ashamed to be associated with your company.
Avon is a JOKE.. Get real; they are scaming ppl out of money big time,Wake up ''do not''et in Avon trap!!!!!!
AVON WAKE UP. There is a serious problem here that needs to be addressed. Everyone reading this we need to find a way to collaboratively speak the big voice at AVON. Any ideas how we can ban together and have our voices heard?
I have to say, I have far more merchandise than I have sold so far. I was also sent items with my last order that I did not order and I am worried now about sending them back as I was planning to do...Wondering about all this avon stuff. Will say this though, no more samples and if they keep sending me stuff I didnt order I will quit and go to Mary Kay too!
How do I get in touch with somebody in the USA who can help me with a return issue that I have? I keep getting India, who says they can not transfer me back to the US! This is crazy. All I want is for all my of charbebacks to be reversed, so I can return them. Can someone please call me? 630-892-2831 or 630-484-0831
I can not believe Avon would stab 1 of her reps in the back. To take advantage the way she has done. I have tried to contact the corporate office to report this and I have not been able to get through. Maybe there other complaints like this. My younger daughter sells Mary Kay and has said that Mary Kay would never do what Avon has done. My daughters husband has been layed off for over a year and I know she needs this extra. I refuse to buy anymore Avon and I am going to contact all the people who I have asked to buy from her. All of her clients can not believe it either. Avon you have been in business for years....I bought my first makeup from you in 1963. I can not believe you need business that bad to do this to someone. I hope everyone will buy more Mary Kay.
1 rule of Selling, Read! try Tom Hopkins, you need to qualify your customer, meaning if they can not pay don't sell, if your in dire need, get a deposit. I signed up online, and no one at all contected me. Do I care? Not really I was a Union Steward, and an old lady union steward told me "Start from the top" the manager's don't know squat. So I emailed the head huncho, and wala. Not sure but the manager is having a one on one with me, if they jack with me, well they are messing with the wrong person,,,,Oh an I am not interested in the President Club except for the discount (who doesn't like a discount) and if the manager is in your face, FAX your orders, by the way did anyone tell you if you submitt a late order, and fax it in, you don't have to pay the "extra shipping" keep it under 5 days, I have not pushed it out futher to test that yet. YOu don't have to do it online, you can fax, mail, ext. If the manager was doing that to me,,, well BYpass! F'em Wow lots of issues, but here is the thing, I worked for the gov for 24 years almost all males, so a silly lady manager, please. I won a statue for the 09 president club I put it on craiglist....what do I care, I did not earn it. What your not told, is YOUR the customer, you not an employee , no rights, so there in lies the issue. YOu buy it, and your job is to REsell it! Return? Better off trying to resell them. Ever wonder what the stuff really cost? Don't buy lots of samples, or demos, learn how to sell something one can not touch or taste or smell, people buy from emotions not logic, heck I was a mechanic, and I sold a lady a box of cereal in the market just cause I like it,,, get it? Also make use of the free advertising, you can post on craiglist, yellow pages, ect, I even see demo's on ebay which is a nono but bet the get 5 demos folks are doing it. Having a bad Avon day,, kick one of the ebay avoner in the shins, maybe you'll feel better, heck seems nowaday everyone loves a RAT. I told a Judge that was having a bad day "give someone a fat fine" (business) you'll feel better.... See we have been shut up can't express ourselfs so we stress. hehe Also you know that the "leader" gets 25 bucks each time You sell 100, so the way I see it, I will keep each campaign under 100 and I can still get my PC to get the discount of 40 percent, and the "leader" wont get squat from my work, is this a bad attitude, well that is subjective,,, Do you want some other person making money just cause you bust your hump? 12 months in a year so under 100 you'll make it. And you wont go broke. Recruit, well that is cutting your own throat. Unless you want to make money of some hard working Avon lady. Besides being a Mechanic, dog trainer, Commander, youth assitance, cook, and blab blab yada yada I am an Ordained Minister, so I can't do that. yeah and I got a mouth on me too! Oh I am a Girl go figure. God Bless the world. ;) Who wants to be a top Avon person anyway, you have to work so hard your Hair turns White! (seems they all have white hair, dropped into the office, and "they" where having a meeting, gee,,,,they where rude, No manners and looked me up and down, ewwh) OH and attend training, they give you free stuff. And when the manager asks "How are your sales?" don't tell em. Why to watch them gloat? it will just upset you, instead smile and say "slow" Look sad, then they will help you cause if you make money they make money,, so get the most out of it. Even boo hoo you wish you had samples, have ya ever been to the office? Heck tons of stuff why can't they give you some, it's just sitting around gathering dust. Oh be opened minded,,, my 1st client is a well what do you call a guy that wares ladies stuff.. He tells me how he buys nightys for his "stepmom" did I say UGH how sick, no I said " Oh your so nice" and when he told me how he has to wash in Moms and stepmoms "panties" out in the sink,, did I gag,,, no I said" oh yes you have was them out by hand or they will get ruined" And go to event's,,, take a friend,,, just tell em , they are a rep in some other county visiting you, check out the obituarys, I am sure there is some dead avon lady somewhere, they will get all jazzed and you can take a buddy. Well I hope you at least had a laugh,, keep the peace punch someone in the face!
AVON, PAY ATTENTION! Reps who've been with the company for a long time are walking out Avon's door, and the majority of the problems seemed to have developed of late. You need to stop throwing just anybody into your management positions, and make sure they actually care about someone other than themselves. The managers that DID care have all left because they are burnt out and sick of the Avon attitude that "it's all about the numbers"! I have been with Avon for over 11 years altogether and I too have left Avon after building a very successful business with achievements I am proud of along the way...top 3 in my district for sales increase andfor sales volume, along with being a Unit Leader in Leadership. The manager that came into my district just 2 years ago was supposedly a former rep, tho nobody in the district seemed to know or remember her? She talked of the disconnect in our district and said she wanted to change all that. In less than a few months, all she did was tear our district apart. She would talk about other reps, esp. the successul ones, as well as other managers, behind their backs, and have no problem throwing anyone under a bus to save her own neck, which she did repeatedly. For those who have commented that if you're Leadership that's the only time you get spoken to, that's not true either. I was a leadership rep and as long as I was out there helping to get recruiting events for the district it was fine, but as soon as I said I was tired of doing all the work while everyone else reaped the rewards and all I got was slapped in the face for it, I started being treated like dirt, and that's no joke. I stopped being told of important leadership meetings and when I questioned her about no notifications, I got accused of blocking her emails! As I stopped placing orders, I never once received a call or an email from her, except order reminder emails. I have walked away from my small but wonderful and still successful leadership team and away from my 5th PC achievement level. I made Avon plenty of money and I hope they enjoyed it. I will not EVER go back to Avon.
I'm selling Avon now for 15 years and I'm thinking of quitting. Just lately I was put on the now return list. Each Brochure states that we Reps have to take everything back used or unused. We always will have returns. And when I send them back Avon receives 10 out of 12 items. If you are an Avon Representative make sure to check your invoice, Avon will give you the wrong price or a totally different Item Number on some products. Some of Avon's Jewelry looks like it came out of a Bubble Gum Machine - cheaply made. Never pay an Avon Rep up front, we never know what we get from Avon, many things are on back order even it was new in the Brochure! Avon is pushing Leadership/Multilevel Marketing more and more. And it went back to Animal testing to sell their products to China. China requires that. Avon does not care about you personally, it's all about how much you can sell for them. Even having an Avon District Manager, she did not help us in any way. If you not in Leadership you or should I say your accomplishments are NOT acknowledged. If you asked Customer service for help, they don't read your e-mail all the way, asked questions where you submitted the answer to them already in your e-mail and tell you to email again with more info even the info needed was in your original e-mail. If you call in to customer service, they don't know how to help you. So you pretty much stranded if you are not in Leadership. If you are signed up from a Leadership Rep, they just out to get the % of your sales, but let you hang otherwise. Avon is not what it was 10 years ago. Reps treat other Reps badly, Customer Care is not what it should be and in the end it is all about the money you make for Avon.
i have sold Avon for 3 years . i went Presidents Club in 6 months and was awarded Top New Performer of the year for my district. i have made PC every year and this year i would of made Honors. and i also just became a Unit leader again but this time the girls are putting in orders like there suppose to. But Avon could care less. this is a hard time for everyone but you know i always put in 600.00 - 1,000.00 orders every 2 weeks but do you think they care? NO. Somehow my account is screwed up i make my payments i did my yearly spreadsheet and My cost, plus sales tax and processing fee is less than i paided Avon in payments and credits but do you think they care? NO i doudt they are doing anything to check into this. it hurts me that i have gave this company all my time and effort for 3 years and that i am just another representative. you know if i owe it fine , but why cant they do a percentage of your order for payment back then your total amount? you know if i put a order in here and there it might be different but i put a order in every campaign. i will lose everything i was so looking forward to the PC Event this year and making Honors. Heck i was even in the top 10 all year long and was 2nd in sales increases all year long. What a waste. so disappointed.
I sell Avon in Northeast Mississippi and have for about 4 years now. Until recently I have been extremely happy as an independent Avon sales rep. However, a few months back a woman I have never met named Judy McKissick "became" my district manager and intruded into my dealings with Avon. She put a HOLD on my account for "credit" reasons. This was ridiculous!!! I pay Avon in full and on time each month and have for YEARS. I was not pleased that occurred but I got it straightened out and received my products. HOWEVER, today I checked to see when my current order was shipped. Shock of shocks, it is on HOLD!!! Same reason, same ridiculous person put it on hold. Avon's "gal Friday" told me I'd have to contact Judy. However, I asked for a supervisor and (imagine this) got one! I was very pleased (so far) with her help. She could see no reason the order is on hold, although she does see Judy McKissick placed it on hold. Hopefully by the end of today my order will be on its way to me. Molly also told me Avon is downsizing district reps and I suggested to her this would be an excellent place to start. I love selling Avon and will continue, provided Judy McKissick leaves me alone.
I am having a problem with avon and they told me i had to pay 58.03 and they will get my order off of hold and here it is still on hold! this is crazy and these are christmas gift for my customers!
Avon no longer makes any makeup shade suitable for white/Caucasian/fair-skinned women. The new Nude is for black skins. The next shade lighter is for Mexican/Oriental, and the very lightest makeup shade is much darker that the "Nude" which I have worn for years. I had to return every one of them - the new "Nude" (African), the next lighter shade (Mexican/Oriental) and the lightest shade you offer "Light Ivory". It is not LIGHT OR IVORY! If Avon no longer wishes to serve the white/Caucasian/fair-skinned population, I will notify my customers and public that they can no longer purchase Avon makeup. Please advise. alicepillsbury2013@comcast.net
