5 season passes using payment plan...but ATM card was lost and final payment declined on 14 May 2012. So, Rep. said the cards were all deactivated on 21 May 2012 and I had 90 days from date of deactivation to reactivate passes. Tried to reactivate cards before the 90 day suspense and and very disrespectful reps gave me a lot of crap and the run around about how I was given the wrong information (said managers would call me back and the Guest Service at park could assist me (who also promised that managers would call back and lied. This is my 2nd attempt to get corporate involved who don't seem to care lat all about loyalty and respect for customers from reading theses posts...and I will take you to small claims court if need be....

We were in the kids section at Great America (Gurnee, IL) and my 2 year old baby began crying before the little boats began and before the employee began to set up. I asked if she can let me grab my baby and she gave me attitude and acted like it was the end of the world. After asking her for supervisor, she covered up her name tag as if I didn't see it already. Roniya is the worst employee ever! If you don't like working with kids... Then quit and get a job outside of a theme park!! Especially the kids section... This place is nothing like DISNEY!!

Was told by rep that acount would permanently be deactivated if new credit card wasn't on file by 21 Aug 2012 to make last payment for season passes. On 20 Aug 2012 I was told that the rep gave me the wrong ifo but they couldn't do anyhing about it since I was now past the 90 day period for reconciling the account. The rep had told bme that my account was deactivated on 21 May 2012 and I had 90 days from that date or 21 Aug 2012. I called guest relations and they were rude about the whole situation and my number has been taking down for Managers to return a call but still this has yet to happen. Policy as taken from online: What if I need to change credit cards or my credit card is lost or stolen? You may visit sixflags.com/payments to change your payment type or even pay the full amount owed. Changes in method of payment and early payment must be made at least three days prior to the regular payment date shown in the Easy Pass Payment Schedule to ensure that they take effect prior to your next scheduled payment. I received a notice that my Easy Payments Plan account has been deactivated. What should I do? First visit the sixflags.com/payments portal. If necessary, update your payment information with a new credit card. Your card will be automatically reactivated after we receive your payment. If your payments appear to be up-to-date and your card is still deactivated, please contact us at (407) 557-2880 and we will help you resolve the issue. What happens if I do not resolve payment after my Season Passes have been deactivated? If the charge doesn’t go through, you have 90 days after deactivation to clear up the payment. After that time, the Pass can’t be reactivated and you will forfeit any amount that has already been paid.

To whom it may concern- I recently had a very disappointing time at Great America on August 17th. I live a couple hour drive away from the park & checked your website before I left. The website said you closed at 8:00pm(Very strange for a Friday in August!?!) but I went anyways. I spent A LOT of money buying tickets & food & souvenirs. Then to my surprise at 7:35pm I was told that my party could not get in line for a ride because it was under 30min to park close!!!! There was a time that as long as you got in line before close that you could still get on the ride. Another thing from the good old days taken away I guess. But, why don't you tell people on your website that the rides actually close off to people getting in line, 30min before park closing? I would have been nice to been on another ride instead of in my car ten min before the actual park closing time!

Hello. I am wondering why any number I try to dial on the 6 flags: Great adventure site doesn't work at all. The main number for the website says that it is out of service. Please tell me what number is functional on that site so I can reach a customer service representative, please. Thanks you.

We were at Great America in Gurnee IL on August 3rd and the security person dropped my daughters Iphone from her purse and it broke. After numerous phone calls that day they said they needed the original receipt and the phone. We live in WI and don't carry receipts for phone with us. I said I would PDF it and email it to them and they insisted they needed the original receipt. I also told them I would no way give them the phone because one never gets everything off the phone. Finally the guest relations guy said they would replace the phone and we could email the receipt to them Well now they don't return my calls as I am trying to verify the email address. I have left three messages and no call back yet. The new Iphone without a contract was almost $800.

I am writing with disgust about a visit that we made to Siz Flags in St. Louis on 8-13-12. My sister was dumped by her long time boyfriend and she took the day off of work to go to Six Flags in St Louis (her favorite place) to try and feel better. The day absolutely sucked for her. Her favorite rides are the Mr. Freeze and Batman. She was embarrassed by staff at Six FLags when they told her that she was too big to ride both rides despite the fact that she is smaller than last year- and she rode both last year. The twirps that treated her with disrespect should be ashamed. So should Six Flags. And if that wasn't enough- one ride she was on with my 13 year old daughter was unlocked by staff and my sister was taken off of the ride because of her size. Then- my 13 year old was forced to ride the Mr. Freeze by herself because staff would not let her move to sit with her older brother in the next row. Their reasoning was because the ride was locked and ready to go. They sure released the ride locks to kick my sister off!!! Really???? I am sickened by this. I smell prejudice - better yet I smell lawsuit. I want answers and I want them today!!! Thanks for making my sister feel worse!!! Great job!!! Cinda Carrigan

To whom it may concern, We recently visited your theme park on Tuesday, the 7th of August, in Gurnee Illinois. We obtained a Platinum Flash Pass with (6) guests for a total of $500.00 and all toll, with park admission, parking, food and other items, about $1500.00 was spent for that day. Being that we, (and other patrons), want to carry as little as possible, (especially knowing we were going to be there through the entire opening hours), my girlfriend left her drivers license in our car and I brought mine knowing I needed to leave it as a deposit for the Flash Pass. When we met with friends at the food court for lunch, I went to get me an ice cold beer only to be refused for not having a photo ID. I explained to the attendant that my drivers license was being held at the Flash Pass Center per Great America's policy and was still refused the sale. Now, to set the record straight, I am 59 years old and although I do take care of myself, I do not look anything like someone under 21 years of age especially with a full head of gray hair. With that being said, I also understand policy and rules but I also understand the law, the State Of Illinois does not require every single person to be asked for identification when purchasing alcohol but leaves this to the discretion of the vendor and/or the village or city of which it operates. I go into a Jewels food store and they don't ask me for my ID because it is open and obvious that I am not under 21. I go into a 7-Eleven to grab a six-pack of beer and they don't ask me for my ID because it is open and obvious that I am not under 21. I go into night clubs and bars and they don't ask me for my ID because it is open and obvious that I am not under 21. I go into liquor stores and they don't ask me for my ID because it is open and obvious that I am not under 21. The question begs: Cannot one of your employees handling food and money make this distinction and make a reasonable and responsible decision as to whether someone is open and obviously not under 21? I'd even be willing to put this to a test...you line up one hundred of your employees and see if they can guess if I am over 21? When I inquired about this policy upon returning the Flash Pass at the end of the evening, the gentleman told me that they get, as he put it, tons of complaints about this. He also informed me that you can use another means of photo ID such as a FOID (firearms owner identification card) as a deposit but when reading your web site, one assumes Great America means a valid drivers license and it is never spelled out what can be used as an alternative. On a side note, who would have thought a family theme park would accept a handgun card for a deposit? I never thought to bring it in light of everything going on with hand guns. Maybe you or the powers that be could take this into consideration: When leaving ones driver license, noting on that driver license that the individual is over 21 years of age and asking if they might be having a beer, how about issuing a wrist band as proof of age to purchase alcohol? You give out wrist bands for the Platinum Pass so people can ride twice on a ride, why not this? Hell, I have been to weekend carnivals and music festivals that give out wrist bands for this purpose so your not whipping out your license every time you visit a beer vender. Something to possibly consider? And for the love of Mike...$10.99 for a hamburger? Seriously?

I haven't seen more then a One (1) rating and can only wonder why the corporate office hasn't stepped up to make any changes??? It appears the staff members are rude and inconsiderate. From my own experience, they treat the customers like they are criminals. Not everyone is out to do anything bad - The park isn't even worth one (1) star!!!

So my kids received tickets for the park for reading 60 mins a day all school yr long!!!!!!!! Well me and the wife smoke so we knew we can't smoke besides designated areas so we bought a electric cigg. Ya know the vapor ones.. well I am in line with the twins and wife and a huge ugly GNARLY guard sneaks up (try's to) and says...... "ummm. Did I just see you take a drag off a cigg?" Now, she either did or didn't right?? So I say to her. "I have a vapor one that isn't nicotene or real." She appears to get happy or happier with my answer and says alright sir follow me you are going to have to leave the park!!! I was stunned and didn't respond for a bit because it didn't sink in that I was being thrown out.. now I didn't take a drag yet I was just holding it in my hand and she seen it and reacted... I t is my word against this things. My kids are crying and they simply do nothing to resolve it they just kick you out.. its posted nowhere that e ciggs aren't allowed just no smoking signs. BUT we said this and they GO FIND a park map and bring it to me and on the back of the map in fine print it says including e ciggs................ guess I shoulda read the fine print before TAKING MY KIDS TO SIX FLAGS..... I HOPE YOUR STOCKS PLUMMIT AND THE BIG WIGS END UP WORKING AT DISNEYWORLD......

We never received coupon books after buying 4 season passes in Dec. 2012. I have been calling and leaving messages for Six Flags, Vallejo, CA for the last 2 weeks, Have not received a call back yet! I will never buy season passes again they have terrible customer service.

Just tried to enter Six Flags Magic Mountain. Bought my tickets on line and just want a refund due to the fact me and my fiance were denied entry because she is a medical marijuana patient. Had none of her medication on her, and medicated approx. 3 hours before arriving to the park but security claimed they smelled it and this was enough for them to deny us entry. This violates civil codes in CA and the CDPA. I am extremely angry, it was my birthday yesterday and didnt count on spending it with 100 dollars less in my pocket for nothing. I WILL NEVER ATTEND SIX FLAGS AGAIN!

I went to sixflags new england yesterday. I have been there many times and i have gone on the rides multiple times as well. I have one arm and a prothsetic leg. I was kicked off of three rides and told that I couldn't ride most of the rides there because I don't have enough limbs. I tried to get my money back but I was told that they don't do refunds and for entertainment I can watch a show. I was humiliated in front of all those people. and devastated that I couldn't do what I love. there was no sympathy from any of the employee's there. not a care in the world. Not even a simple refund.

I paid for parking and my truck got broken in to, called guest relations and they did nothing. This was at Hurricane Harbor Arlington, TX. never going BACK.

Trying to return 3 day passes and preferred parking voucher purchased online in error. The park said they cannot issue refunds as per corporate and the corporate office tells me to try and deal with the park. There is no customer service and no justice. I will make sure everyone knows how horrible Six Flags is. They have no spirit of compassion for elderly people or veterans or 9/11 first respondents. All they care about is taking in the money and the words credit card refund does not exist in their vocabulary.

Watch out anyone who tries to get employment at Six Flags, Majic Mountain, Valencia, CA. Truly inconsistent in their interpretation of park policy. Potential employee was given written statement which stated "Tatoo's if covered with flesh colored bandage, would not disqualify your from employment" Yet when prospective employee spoke with HR representative, this person state they could not offer a positon due to a tatoo on the inside of the wrist (snail wit butterfly, approximately 1 inch by 1 inch) What a bunch of malarkey. Well, I for one will never spend my money at this park and trust me I will advise all my out of town guests to go somewhere else.

We were rushing out the door and trying to buy tickets online, when my friend told me that she didn't have a printer and I'd have to buy hers too. We sat back down to order again and the website told us we'd have to wait an extra 20 minutes to purchase again on the same credit card! This unnecessary and a huge inconvenience. The whole point of buying the tickets online was so we could get into the park sooner.

Six Flags abandoned Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, KY in 2010. They did it in a really sneaky way too. However, what I heard today on the news is disgusting to say the least. We have Holiday World owner's the Cooks wanting to take it over. After going in to look at the property, they found the rides were not winterized (the ones Six Flags didn't snake), the property was trashed, and most disgusting...human waste was left in the bathrooms! I will never go to another Six Flags!!!!! This is the way this corporation handles it's business and I will not give them any of my money. No wonder they had to go into bankruptcy!

How many of you people out there know that there is a Six Flags America AND a Six Flags GREAT America? I am guessing not many. You probably have either heard of one or the other. apparently Six Flags is aware that this is a pretty normal, regularly occurring and very confusing issue for people who have used their online site to order tickets and have accidentally bought tickets for the wrong "America". Here's the rub: you need to go back online and re-buy tickets for the correct park and then they "say" they will refund the money from the original tickets that were bought in error. (oh and it doesn't matter if you bought the first round of tickets at a special discount price. you still have to buy the new ones at whatever they are selling for currently). I can't say that they DON'T refund but i am just letting you know that you might want to contact the credit card company to let them be aware of a potential dispute issue considering I have been told by both parks that "there are no refunds or exchanges under any circumstances". (Also, the guest relations "manager" at Great America was a jerk but the one at America was pretty nice.)

I have to say after reading all the postings, I don't feel alone. We had a very bad experience here at six flags in Vallejo, Ca. My daughter was accused of stealing. I had her money and was waiting outside the store. She was trying to get my attention when she was asked to follow this guy. He was dressed in plain clothes. She got scared and ran to me. He accused her of stealing. I told him she wasn't and I had her money. He didn't care. He told me that he was going to take her and question her. At first they were not going to let me go with her but I made them. While walking quickly back to their office another person started walking with us. I asked them to slow down because I had just had gotten out of the hospital and couldn't keep up. I was hurting and they didn't care. When my daughter tried to wait for me they continued to push her to go with them. Once we got into their office she was yelled at and told to stop lying. She looked them straight in the eye and said she was not lying. When these two men/boys couldn’t get the answer they wanted their supervisor, Ian (Well that’s the name on his name tag, who knows if that is his real name) came in and really started grilling her and being a bully. Once again my daughter looked him straight in the eyes and told him she didn’t steal and was just getting her money from me. I told them this was inexcusable and to stop. He didn’t and kept pushing getting uglier and more upset. I asked question about procedures and he couldn’t answer them so he put my daughter under arrest and the police got involved. The police officers were very kind and ask the six flag personal why are you doing this? Let her pay for her stuff and let them go. Ian took off without answering any of our questions. My daughter, myself and the rest of the family was escorted out of the park like we committed a major crime. The whole staff is rude and DON’T know how to do their job. On top of all this they sent me a bill for $500.00 over all this mess. It’s like they have a quota to fill. To say the least I will NEVER go back to six flags in Vallejo or any other six flags park!! It’s not worth the trouble.
