As "seasoned citizens" we were delighted a year ago Christmas to receive a 6 month subscription to NET FLIX. We are great movie fans, especially the older flix from our younger years. Also being older, it was a lovely treat NOT to have to seek out a theatre playing a movie we wished to see. Imagine our chagrin when, as we ordered movies we were excited to view, we found the sound quality not of a quality we could hear! The dialogue was usually somewhat garbled or too soft; turning up the volume only served to contribute to the distortion. Being used to CLOSED CAPTION on the television, we searched for movies with NET FLIX that showed CC (for closed caption). Frequently, the ordred movies noted CC did NOT have the captioning and we had the same problem HEARING the sound. YES, we do both have hearing impairments, but so do MANY other older seniors who also LOVE movies and would love to enjoy NET FLIX. We are NOT sound engineers nor do we understand the technical side of CC, but cannot help but wonder how much of a problem it would be for NET FLIX to equip ALL of their movies with CLOSED CAPTION for the hearing impaired. We have just taken out a subscription for NET FLIX to use with ROKU, hoping we shall be able to hear better, but would SO RESPECTFULLY ask NET FLIX ~~~PLEASE is closed captioning possible for ALL your wonderful movies?? Thanks so much!

Best is not good enough. I have had so much trouble with trying to get the Netflix movies on my TV. I can get them on my laptop but not on the TV. After 4 different phone calls back to Netflix I ran into JOEL. The other people that I talked too shoved me off with quick answers that did not help in any way. Joel Has gone the extra mile. Even further than I could have ever expected. She worked so hard to try to resolve my issues to no avail. The problem has to be in my Sony Blue Ray. I just can not tell you how much and hard she worked to help me. She is an asset to Netflix and I say, give that woman a raise or promote her to a higher position I ran a company for many years. Now retired, but I can say I wish I had 10 woman like her. Please see that she get this. I want someone to see what a champion like her can do. And if you will see that someone gets back with me letting me know that this made it to her. I am so pleased with what she went through for me. Thanks Joel! You were wonderful and so nice to work that hard for me. Mike I will not stop here. I will find a corporate boss to get my point across about you. Thanks again JOEL. You were the BEST!!!!!!!!!!

I am a regular curstermer until my disks takes 2 days longer to return. i donot get no where near the amounts of disks. i am getting diffrent explainations pertaining to this,i began to feel that your componey is trying to rip me and other custermers off with the " its the post office " thats why the delay and the turn around is one day the supervisor was rude and accusedm oftrying to argue with her . and refusses me to talk with ehr supervisor . i am not happy

i stopped my account 2-3 months ago . i still have a magical account they dont know how to close keep getting billed ... been two tries and i still get magical bills ... unorganized non professional i called the office and they lady on the phone was telling jokes took about 1 min to even say hi and she answered the phone like a child TOTALLY UN PROFESSIONAL

Netflix Corporate Office: I just recieved a notice that I have to give NETFLIX my Credit Card information again. WHY? Payments have been taken out every month since I've started including this month September. I was also suppose to get one year free NETFLIX when I started, but have'nt gotten a thing, just payments taken out.

NetFlix is a total joke and a disreputable and unethical organization. I have requested several times in the past to have my name and contact information removed from the NetFlix database...I have been treated rudely AND hung up on by the so-called "Customer Service" call center (I was even told "No, I am not going to help you since you will not provided your CC number to me" (Even though I told the person I was speaking with I was in a public place and would NOT give out my CC number because there were to many people around). I even spoke with an HR person several months ago to address this issue...low and behold? I am still being harassed by this company. NetFlix likes to screw with people and think they can get away with it since they are a large company, I would how they will feel when I take legal action against them for fraud and harassment.

What happened to Netflix? I've been a customer for years and never had a problem but within the last 6 months I've had nothing but problems. The wonderful customer service representatives have been replaced by a bunch of rude, hateful, kids that are technically clueless. The search engine used to work beautifully thus allowing you to find anything in less than a minute has been replaced with some sort of Best Match piece of crap. When you type in a movie title or actor's name the search results come back with everything but the kitchen sink - none of which you want, need, or desire. Hello Hulu Plus!

I paid for a whole year and for the last 3 months almost every week I've gotten shut off how can this be if I've paid in advance. And I've had to call everytime to get the kinks worked out this is very sad and I'm thinking of going somewhere else.

Wow! Netflix billed me with two different credit cards. When I asked for credit, customer service refused. The service rep found humor in the situation. There is no humor involved when taking my money ... even if it IS only $7.99 per month. Now that I read these other messages ... I wonder if this is an OLD credit card that they decided to reuse???

By far, the most horrible customer service experience ever. The two representatives I spoke to "Cliff and Brenden" were antagonizing and verbally abusive. My account was duplicate billed for a total of three months and when I called to advise of the duplicate billing they told me it is my fault and I should know better. Cliff proceeded to laugh and speak to me as if I were his friend from the ghetto! They lost one more customer today and I hope more people cancel! I'm going to HULU Plus!

I left Netflix years ago because of the rude terrible customer service, not everyone however, I signed back up last night. It took me over 3 hours to watch one episode of Army Wives. I called 4 times and nothing appeared to work. Since I lef Netflix before I have a new player, modem and router. The Customer Service Rep I just got out of Colorado all but told me it was my fault, was condescending, smart allecky and well down right rude. I ended up saying, "and this is why I came back to Netflix?" and hung up. If it continues one more day (I think 48 hours is enough time to give a product time to do what it is supposed to do) I will remove Netflix from my que and stop my service. I must say, although Hulu has 1 minute commercials their customer service is A+ so sorry that Netflix who has been around longer doesn't get it...Customers are what pay you and well, word of mouth is so welcoming at this point. In this economy, we watch our money and if Netflix isn't giving the service and problems with stopping, freezing, and mouth dubbing well it is worth staying with Hulu. Donna Carvente

I order netflixs on the 31st they took out 7.99 pre authorization , they received there payment of 8.00. but never released the pre authorization of 7.99 back to my bank account. they try to blame visa,but visa ask them to fax a release of the pre authorization on there letterhead and they refused. i don't like to be lied to.i suggests you be real careful when subscribing to netflixs ,they a have no sense of decents or morales. anything for a buck.make it 7.99. i feel sorry for the rest of you who realy been burned bad by them . i suggest you file for a small claims in court, don't get a lawyer file yourself . ask for compensation , filling and court cost. make them use there corporate lawyers. they will settle. good luck to all.

I have no idea what these people are complaining about. Netflix is the only source of entertainment my husband and I have since we are on a fixed income. It's affordable to us and any time I've contacted customer service I have had nothing but concern and help. Some things WILL be out of your hands but you can't be blamed for everything. I have noticed something though...the ones who have left you have come back. Why? Because you are the most affordable company with the best customer service going. All's I wanted to say is THANK YOU to the President of Netflix and ALL of their employees. I have been treated fairly and compassionately. Your employees are the best trained yet. Just try, complainers, to talk to the cable co. customer service and see how far you get there. If you don't have cauliflower ear from hanging on or going through all their prompts without being frustrated I would be surprised. Netflix is easy, affordable and located in the USA! It's not outsourced to another country. Thank you Netflix!

Great great great show! Just what I was hoping for, there are just too many sthiagrt review podcasts, this was something so else from that.One quick note,(potential) millions of listeners have no idea what/where/how of Netflix, and it's dropped a lot in the show. It's cool if you're getting sponsorship, but just some explanation woulf be great. (In the UK we have LoveFilm for postal stuff and 4-OD, BBC I-Player (both free) and Filmflex (on-demand cable movies) plus some others.

I was wondering why some sci fi programs are no longer available Like Star Gate SG1??
