Slow leak

The meineke in north alrignton is the most horrible place to take your car. I went in today to fix a slow leak in my tire and when they were finished my rim was destroyed. After telling them, they acted liked complete assholr and we're very in professional. I advise no one to ever take there car there.

Transmission problem

August 30/2013Charged $724.49 Dlls. When I drove the2005 Murano I found that the vehicle continue with the problem. Took the vehicle back to Meineke's in Yuma Arizona 1954 S. 4th Ave. The manager Jerry claimed that they only fixed one of the lines of the transmission and that will cost another $ 200.50 . to fix the second line. They are the ones that need to check things thoroughly to begin with. They take advantage of old women specially when they noticed the that particular customer does not know anything about vehicle problems. I regreated not to take my vehicle to the Nissan Dealer.

they suck

i took my car to one in anderson, sc they screwed my oil pan and plug and all i wanted was a regular oil change and they stripped everything and refused to fix it

Lied twice about service

I brought my car in for oil change and they said it was done, got home and it was never done. Had them do my brakes, they were making noise, they said I had bad rear calipers and wanted $800 even though they did brakes a year ago. Went to another reputable repair shop and they looked and showed my that the rear calipers were good and did not need them. All car needed was new front brakes. They are a hack shop do NOT trust them. The Ham Lake one shut down last year because it was so bad, new owner is no better, they still rip you off.

Customer

Very pleasant experience at this location, 1084 Route 9 in Fishkill, NY. The owner Joe worked on my truck' carburetor and performed the work himself. He did a great job considering the many different steps needed to facilitate the problem as well as locate it. I would recommend this location to anyone living in the area. Thank you Joe and Meineke for great service.

disrespect and sexual harrassment

i took my truck to meineke to get all new tires rotate and balance. even bought the tires from meineke the whole time the manager is sexually harrassing my mother and my girl friend.....i was thinking about violence but decided to handle it as a productive human being. the whole time while they r being harrassed they told me come bak in two hours and ur truck will be fixed. i come bak and have to wait another two hours. they never finished it had to leave it over night i go to pick it up and my battery was dead wasnt like that wen i took it there. the manager Bill Gallion is a prick and rippoff and a pervert. ive never felt disrespected like that in my whole life. and then the manager tries to lie and say theres a leak on the bak axle which was already fixed. just letting everyone know ALL I NEEDED WAS TIRES. dnt ever go to meineke unless u want to get ripped so dnt go to meineke in Sailsbury MD

Complaint

I have complaint about Meineke in Woodbridge va. I did oil change their, and after my car was ready, I drove it from Woodbridge va to Alexandria va about 25 miles without the engine cap oil on. I can't believe they just forgot to put oil cap and drove my car like 25 miles. Address is 14107 Jefferson Davis hwy Woodbridge Va 22191

Navy Vet / grad student

I that been waiting for more than 5 hours to be pick up by Meineke in S.C. Charleston on River Rd. the worst really bad.

alignment

went to get and alignment and the technician who did it did not test drive or look for loose or worn steering parts before he started. i drove it up on the ramp and started to work on it. brought it down and gave me my keys and said her you go shes done. well i started to test drive and the car felt worst than when i first took it there. manager robert in hammond la would not even reason with me about a refune. i had taken it down the street to a tire kingdom and they fixed it in lesss than 30 min. thy showed me the prints and showed me how bad it was to begiin with and what the technician aty meineke had done. if your reading this dont go the hammond location. they are rude and disrespectful.

Rear Shocks and Front Brakes

On May 18, 2013 we took our car in to do shocks and brakes and it cost us $600 and the next thing we know the back make noise and it came from the rear shock, so we took it back in and said the shock is bad want a new one in and they said that they will change it new one and when we went to pick the car up and he said that we have to replace something else it will cost $350 to get of the noise and I said no. I took my car to another shop and he said it was a bad shocks, he even show us with shock in it make noise and when he took the shock out it doesn't make noise. so it cost us $200 to replace them a new one with this new shop and my car doesn't make noise anymore. I will tell my friends and families not to go this place Meineke ever or other Meineke.

Completely Unsatisfactory

My hood was pried open and they put on the wrong filter and oil splattered all over the engine. Im writing a letter to the corporate office in NC. St. Louis location.

Never, never again

I had an oil leak, they replaced the gasket, however, it still leaked. Found out that the Meineke I took it to was closed, so I took it to another one and found out that my warranty, which I thought was good for a year, was only for 3 months. The closed store had completely bent the part that holds the gasket in place. Cost me another $350.00 to fix the same leak twice in 4 months. The were nice at the other store, trying to fix the problem, however, I should not have had to pay for their damaging my car. I will never go to them again.

parts sale manager

this is not a place that is easy to do business with. on 5/22/13 i called for different shops in gilbert, mesa, and in chandler az. i was inquiring about an exhaust system from the exhaust manifold to the rear bumper. only to be told the guy does exhaust is on vacation, we don't have a pipe bender, or the car is to ld to get parts from our vendor. i thought i was calling an muffler shop that installed complete exhaust system's (both custom and OEM). i guess i have been confused for the 20 yrs or so.

Rip-off Artist

Yellow "service vehicle" light appeared on dashboard. Went to Meineke in Ramsey NJ. They replaced 2 heat sensors at a cost of $750. Checked with Chrysler dealer and was told the same service repair would have been $225 had I had it done by them.

Complete rip off

I took my car to get serviced at Meineke for a diagnostics. I was told I needed an EGR valve, and a catalytic converter. The price for all was $671.00. I was told I would have to leave a $200.00 deposit for the converter. I informed him the I would come back next week. I returned some time around two weeks later. I informed him I only wanted to get the catalytic converter installed. I left him the deposit, and he informed me he would call me later that day, and they would complete the job that day. He never called, so the next day I called to the shop. He stated the part had just come in. I asked how long will it take to do the job. He replied an hour, or an hour and a half. I went to the shop, and they began to work. Two and a half hours later, I was told my car was ready. I went to pay and the total came to be $671.00. I informed him I left a deposit, the price came down to $471.00. I informed the cashier the price was supposed to be $471.00 total. The original price was for an EGR replacement and converter. He then stated the converter was $457.00. And labor was $90.00 an hour for two hours. I paid, only because I was all ready late due to the mis quoted estimated time. The next day, I called around Midas only charges $379.00. I have a two self employed mechanics, and one was $350.00, and the other was $400.00. So tell me, am I wrong for being upset for paying almost double of what others charge?

Never again

I took my car to Meineke (#2084) because of a check engine light, a computer diagnostic was done and codes P0203 and P0303 was found. Later I was told the fuel injector on cylinder 3 was bad and needed replacing. The injector was replaced but the check engine light remained. Also doing the service process a spark plug wire was damage and I was told i need new set of spark plug wires. After the 3rd day at Meineke and hours of recommended testing I was told by the store manager they could not find the problem and he recommended I take it to the Dealership. I took it a GMC dealership and they found the same problem, bad injector cylinder 3. They replaced the injector that was installed by Meineke and the check engine light cleared and my car works fine. Now I am getting the run around from Meineke for a refund of the money paid for a bad injector installed by Meineke. Never again.

Very High Cost

I had gone to Meineke in Portland Maine to have my brakes fixed in my car. the car is a 2008 VW BUG with disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. The brakes were not working that bad, but needed a little TLC. The final cost was just over $1600. What ever you do, Don't go to Meineke. Signed, A very Upset EX Customer

EXCELLENT SERVICE

I recently had my 2010 Toyota Avalon serviced at the car dealer and was told that I needed $400 of rear brake work. For comparison I sent to the Meineke Car Care Center on 4th Street in Reno, Nevada. Kevin Holliday set an appointment to check the brakes and gave me a price estimate for various possibilities. Upon checking the car, I was advised that I had plenty of wear left on both front and rear brakes, and that I didn't need work at this time. I was impressed by the honesty and integrity Kevin showed me. He could have sold me a brake job based upon the dealer's estimate, but he chose to be honest. I'll definitely take my car to him when the work is necessary.

Superior Service

I have my car serviced at the Meineke location on Ritchie Highway - Glen Burnie, Md. 21061 Tom Campbell is the owner and Rich is at the Customer Service Desk. I had serious car problems last week and needed alot of parts replaced. They are always very helpful, keep me well informed and make me feel comfortable and that they can be trusted. The BEST!!!!

brakes and rotors

Had a set of four brakes and rotors out on in January. Took car back in three times after that for constant grinding, but would always leave with other problems under the hood like breather hose unplugged, why were they under the hood, bent rim , and damaged transmission pan, they caused more damage and brakes still aren't done correctly. Paid for lifetime brakes now have to find someone to fix their mess
