Couple complaints = went last night to store on S.W. 117 avenue and S.W. 152 street. Food was prepared WITHOUT using gloves. Who knows where these people had their hands/fingers before touching my buns, lettuce, etc.? Manager was the one fixing my Whoppers as she had a red shirt on and the other employes had blue shirts on. Will never go there again or to any fast food place that does not use gloves like Subway does. Also how come the food NEVER looks like they show it on the commercials on T.V. = false advertising in my opinion. People, be smart for the new year and stay away from these disgusting places, I know I will - your health is at stake!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant believe how bad some of you complain. Why is some of the mistakes you make as customers our fault. In the stories above that I read I can guarantee none of these people actually worked for Burger King. I actually have worked there and they put their employees through hell!!! They expect good drive times with 2 people on the clock....that is 1 person making all the food and 1 person taking the orders and 1 manager. The corporate people are so greedy that they threaten to fire you if their sales are low and labor is high. AND YET YOU ALL STILL EXPECT GOOD SERVICE. You people that complain are pitiful. All you usually want is free food and just the pleasure of complaining to a total stranger who is obviously an idiot because you forgot your credit card at the window or left your purse at the store for some poor under paid and over worked employee to take what money is there. Plus, is it the BK employees fault that your is not hot (when they take away your microwave)!!!!!!!! Then if your food cost is high they put a lock on your freezers and take your trash cans away. All of you that think the employees are the problem THINK AGAIN!!!!!! If your food sucks then dont be a smart ass the person taking your order and dont sit there for 2-3 minutes trying to order your food!!!! Oh yeah and by the way having it your way just that BK is having THEIR way with your life and your well being. BK get your act together! Maybe, JUST MAYBE, there is a better way to do business!

I am an employee of Burger King in West Palm Beach, Florida. (Okeechobee and Jog Rd). Today at work, I was made to clean the walk-in cooler even though I told my manager (George) that I had been sick the previous day. He had no concern for my well being. I did it anyways. After that he gave me strict instructions to wash the dishes. I proceeded to wash them. Halfway through he brought me something big and greasy that I didnt see a point in washing anyways. A co-worker (Frans) who wasnt busy but talking to another co-worker (Juana) yelled for me to run hamburger meat. I asked him why couldnt he, being that he and Juana werent busy. Out of nowhere my manager (George) came to me screaming closely in my face, spitting everywhere. I calmly told him that he didnt need to scream or yell. He yelled again, and when I asked him not to, he told me to clock out and go home. George has been the manager from hell. I am a food handler, he had me outside cleaning bird poop off of the big dumpster. He makes me scrub the sidewalk outside of the back door physically with a broom. He comes to work sick, infecting everyone else and is the reason why I got sick in the first place. He drops snot on the floor and asks someone else to clean it up. Burger King is a horrible, unfair place to work. They pay you minimum wage, and expect you to break your back for them. Time and time again, I have tried to work and get along with George, but he is just not cooperating. He sends me on his personal cigarette runs. I wouldn't work at Burger King ever again!

I tried to get into the lobby to order food but all the doors were locked at 9:00 PM when it said it closed at 11:00 PM. I kept knocking on the door to get the Managers attention, after he looked at me several times he continued to ignore me and 6 other customers who were trying to get in as well. I still wanted to get my food so I went into the drive through that the wait was about 9 minutes and I had to say hello into the speaker because no one attended me there as well. I paid for my food and brought to the attention to the Manager that it was impolite for him to ignore me and I felt unwelcome. I asked for his name and told him I was going to call Burger King. Bernando (he said his name was ) said "he would love for me to call on him so he can get more help". He made me feel guilty in a sense that he could not attend to anyone because he just simply didn't have enough people on his shift. I feel he could have at least had a sign on the door saying it was closed. He was cold and unfriendly. I do not wish to go back to Burger King unless I am reimbursed of my money or something is done because I do enjoy Burger Kings food and prefer this fast food restaurant over another but not in customer service situations like this. I hope the corporate takes it upon itself to look into this matter.burger king offers great food but the corporate doesn't care about their employees.I have never heard of a place that steals time from their employees and cut off their overtime and place it in the next Weeks check to save on labor Nashville locations are guilty of this and I think they should be scrutinized not the workers. The employees work hard and I know that the management team of bk takes their pay and has been doing so far years and along with that they steal time for the employees that they favor.bk are thieves amongst themselves the food is fair the employees are great and here it is corporate allows time and hour theft of those that work hard to keep them in business

Hello, I am a loyal customer to the BK in Plant City, Florida off Park Rd just off I-4 interstate. I was in the drive thru at 9 a.m this morning and I was wearing my prescription sunglasses. I ordered then proceeded to the window. The mexican took my visa card then I waited. I got my food, i took my glasses off to view inside the bag to make sure everything was there and the utensils and it was all good so I started to leave. I heard the drive thru lady yelling mam your card !! I realized she never gave me my visa card back so I look in my rear view and noticed I can't back up so I jumped out the car and ran back to the window to get it back. I got back in my car pulled around to the parking lot and cut up the food for my child and then I gave it to her. I never got out of my car. I then turned on the car and realized I didn't have my glasses on so I realized they were in my lap just before I jumped out to get my Visa card back. I drove by the drive thru and I didn't see my glasses anywhere so I went inside to report them missing. The manager took my name and number and that was it. No I'm sorry for not returning the card while I was sitting there. They cost me over $300 in prescription sunglasses I just got a couple of weeks ago when i got my new exam. They should totally be responsible because of their mistake. They got me with the change up from payment first to payment last even though she took my card first. I had my child in the back in car seat and I was distracted at the time.

Two hours later when I realized what I had done I called your cooperate office (who were most unhelpful, saying they couldn’t give me the addresses or phone numbers of Burger King restaurants in the area I mentioned to them). Finally I was able to locate and call Burger King #13588. I spoke to the manager, who was charming and helpful, but questioned me carefully to ensure I was the owner of the computer she had found. She said that she and another worker had found it, and indeed, she would hold it for me. I was handed the computer when I returned three hours later. I am very grateful to both ladies who were nice enough to look after the computer, whereas they could easily have said that they had not found it or someone must have taken it. They both are very pleasant people and a great addition to your company. They are not only extremely honest, but served customers very nicely. The manager was especially helpful. We now make a point of trying to stop in to say hello and eat there whenever we pass. Ian Shine MD

My friend and I ate at Burger King in Daphne, Al about a month ago and she forgot her purse. Less than ten minutes later, we returned and it was gone. We called the police and he made a report. My friend insisted that the officer look in the dumpster out back and guess what - her purse was stuffed inside the dumpster's side-bar (where the truck sticks those prongs in to lift it) and about 170.00 was gone. The officer told us their video cameras weren't working so they couldn't see what actually happened to the purse. We will never go back there again!

i like to say,i am an employee at BK in Providence R.I.on Eddy st.i was recently suspended for no reason at all.i was talking to my friends in the back,one on my friends was joking around with me.saying clock out and go home right now,so i responded with sure i don't care i don't mind leaving early.especially the day before Thanksgivivng,then all of a sudden the manger in the front say to me i can leave early.mind you i was not talking to her,and she was minding my business.she had said to me i'm saying i don't care so go home.so i left early and went home.friday i return and everybody saying to me i don't work today.i said why,and then the manager said i had said i don't care about hour,neither does she.i had said to her what are you talking about i never said that.she had call up the district manger and told him what happen.he didn't bother trying to talk to me or get in to contact with me to hear my side of the story.and he told her to replace me basically,he told her to suspend me.this burger king should be investigated.because their are a lot of things that go on in this store.

Had a very negative experience at the local Winchester, Indiana Burger King. Store manager Elizabeth spilled a drink on me neither apologized or gave me napkins. I had a wet sweater jacket, shirt, and pants in the dead of winter. I was freezing and when I asked why she did apologize but rather gave me my food and just shut the drive thru window she said and I quote "Because you looked mean" seriously I did not say anything I waited for an apology that to this day has never arrived. I can not believe you allow a manager like this. Very sad day for Burger King. I will never visit the Winchester store again as long as you allow that manager to remain there. She needs to be fired to treat a customer like this.

I just paid 4.51 for a single whooper sandwich with cheese. I will advise everyone I come across of BK's price gouging and have been actively participating in spreading the word of mouth against BK. Thank you for ripping me off, now you reap what you sow BK.

Your manager (MARSHA) at the longview washington store is the rudest person i have ever heard. She yells at the workers in front of the customers, and thinks she is the best thing ever.....I will never eat there again. Wow she call yell at the young workers and treat them like crap..What a impressive woman. This lady should be fired...

I visited the Burger King on 823 East Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti, Michigan for 3 days straight, and the manager who was the only one working there at the time during this shift was absolutely rude, careless, mean, bitter, and displayed a level of customer service that I would have never imagined from a leader. She was so snappy and sharp that I questioned why she even worked in such a field. I did not return the favor of rudeness but instead chose to write a letter or some form of documentation to someone of authority. This is sad, and most of the residents of Ypsilanti I have spoken with have said the exact same thing, wondering why are they still open. Someone has to do something about this quick and fast. Rev. truthtalker must be one of the incompentent idiots that work for buger king. I'm sorry but if you can't understand no pickles, not once, but everything other time I order, you are a complete dumbass, and you should consider yourself lucky to even have a job, period. And what is with the customer service, you have got to love the shitty attitudes of these burger employees. They act like you are interupting their day by placing an order, and god forbid, they screw it up (which 9 times out of 10 they do), and you call to tell them. They like to talk shit about you as they are hanging up on you. Yep, that's right, this ignorant manager actually hung up on my husband when he was telling her how they screwed up the order. Just a thought, you might want to wait until you hang up before bad mouthing the customer. In the end I guess it doesn't matter anyway. Burger King won't lift a finger to correct their shitastic food and service. McDonalds sucks too, but that's were i'll be going to eat crap from now on. By the way, this rotten burger king is on route 53 in Romeoville, Illinois. I suggest you steer clear unless you want to be treated like shit before and after you eat shit. Once more thing, checking the bag to see if your order is correct is one thing, having to un wrap each buger to check to see if it ws made right is fucking ridiculous.

my husband went to burger king on west 4th street Sunday ordered a mustard whopper and a chicken sanwich , we were the only people there at the time ,right behind us came a man a boy and a lady and orderes after us . they were served 1st we waited and waited finally i went and asked about our order they had forgottenwhat we had ordered. the whopper the meat was not cooked it was red still the chicken was burned ,fries were cold the place smelled like something was burning. It used to be a very good place to get a burger they are not char-broiled anymore. what happened

I got on this website by googling something else, but was mesmerized by the utter stupidity. First, you all aren't that important ; please do not grace bk with your presence. Mistakes happen, ever consider checking your bag before driving away? Yes it should be correct but it happens. And any intelligent person can understand that the employees didn't purposely charge your card twice. Are you kidding me? How would they even get the extra money genius? Your bank has to reverse the charge and wow it takes couple days. If u can't be without that $5 for few days, I think you have bigger worries and instead of being condescending and insinuating the workers pocketed your money, check into reality. My favorite thus far is the roach. Probably didn't happen since you are threatening them because you are so devastated, but if you receive money by days end, your devastation subsides. If true, get over it. Every restaurin the world has roaches. Sorry to break it to you. All of you petty people attempting to get ppl fired because you had an inconvenience is disgusting. Maybe the employee was out of line, but somehow I thinkyou are as much to blame. Its fast food, if its not to your standards fucking cook at home. I started working at Burger King in Richmond Virginia 2 monthes ago. It was the second time I had worked there, it was one of my first jobs as a teenager, and I really enjoyed working there. I was very suprised when I began working at this corporate store. Employees came and went as they pleased and did what they wanted at work. It was nothing for employees not to show up at all and still have their jobs, use their cell phones while making sandwiches, or just go in the office and sit their whole shift. I came to work everyday on time and worked while I was there. You can imagine how upset I was when my general manager looking very upset told me she had to fire me because her bosses boss, who I am assuming is a regional manager because hes over the district manager, said she had too. This is a man I have never met and never listened to my side of the incident I was being fired for. The reason she tells me I am being fired is a I backed a gentleman up the night before, even though thats what I was taught to do while in training when there is a large order or someone takes a long time to order and its just one car. The man had apparently gotten offended when he asked why I had backed him up and I explained it was because he had a large order and he thought I was referring to his weight. Since then I have been trying to get in touch with HR with no luck. Why can't employess speak with a real live person? Right now its close to christmas and I have 2 kids. Things are up in the air all because I backed a car up as I was trained to do.
