I am writing because I am disgusted by weight watchers. I have been a member for 1 1/2 years. My credit card recently was stolen. I called weight watchers to tell them to use a new credit card that had sent to me to replace the stolen one. Well the boob on the other end cancelled my membership and signed me up again with my new card instead of just putting my new card on my account. He did not tell me he did this. He just said everything was all taken care of and that I would be having my automatic deduction taken out on the 23rd as usual. Well I'm getting it taken out all right but not at the 39.95 I have been paying but now at 42.95. I called them and they said they were so sorry but there is nothing they can do. Even though it through their fault. So their comment of yuour membership price being locked in once you join is just the biggest pile of bull crap. Not only are you dealing with all of the headaches of a credit card being stolen you being raped by weight watchers. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Buyer beware!!!!!!
HELP I NEED A CALL FROM SOMEONE SHOWING ME HOW TO ACCESS THE WEBSITE.I was doing WW for a while but not really counting points when I should have. The program works v ery well in fact I give the actual diet a 5 star rating. HOWEVER, I have been paying for the program since about April and still am.. I was going to start serious counting points recording them on line. I signed in but now the online website is EXTREMELY USER UNFRIENDLY. I tried for an hour to try and get my Plus Points Tracker to come up and was unable to do so. As a result I am EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED. Please can someone call me at the number shown in my profile and walk me through the mess that is the website now. It was easy to navigate 2 months ago, but not now. HELP! If I can't use the tracker there is no point in doing the program.
My name is Elizabeth Taylor. I live at 7808 Chloe Court, Belleville Michigan, 48111. I am writing because I was told if I wanted a poster of Jenifer Hudson that I had to call the National Headquarters and request one. I did this and a nice man took my information but it's been two months. Please I am willing to pay. I looked on line and the only posters are mainly head shots no full body. She's a big encouragement to me.
Don't you think a REAL commercial featuring WW members showing their before and after pics would be great? Most everyone I know is turned off by the high priced celebrities and can't relate to their famous lives. All of this couples with the facts you are pushing your expensive products way too much on your members smells like?? greed..
I also believe that Weight Watchers should stop paying so much for endorsements from stars. What is that really saying to the general public? That you need someone else to lose weight to show you how it is done? I do not think that is an effective use of the valuable program. Maybe they should really think about paying their employee's more for their time. I know crazy idea right?
I came in this site re: the same complaint as seen in Yvonne Harris' post dated 6/3/12. Why rich celebrities? I have had a weight problem all my life but cannot afford WW. I'm a 3 time cancer survivor, a strong woman with a weight problem and need mentoring & support. Shame on Weight Watchers.
Having Charles Barkley as a spokesman is a gigantic mistake. It ensures that your program is the LAST one that would ever use. First, you think that we are so stupid that his presence will make us want to join. Second, he was a walking example of what is wrong with professional sports, and nothing that should be followed as an example for young people. Finally, he was a hypocrite and insincere.
Good Morning weight watchers. I would like to know how i can speak to a manager. Here is the situation. Right after high school I started the weight watchers in June 2004 I continued the program until December 2006. I have sent SEVERAL request spoken with SEVERAL people trying to obtain a copy for proof of participation as required by my insurance company for gastric bypass. to be told that there is no record of my participation is UNACCEPTABLE ! Why my information was NOT archived or stored somewhere! PLEASE HELP
I totally agree with some of the other comments. We are regular everyday people trying to lose and stay as healthy as possible. I'm unable to afford a personal trainer or a chef. It would be nice if Weight watchers would pay an average person like me to lose weight. Soon to be laid off and currently looking for employment this would be a great help and a healthy way to become fit.
Please have more meetings in my area the ones here are on Mondays and I work...Iam close to Battle Creek Mich but to be able to get there same time each week is impossible..I always quit when I get behind...Barb Arnold
I REALLY like Weight Watchers. However, I am greatly amused by their inabilty to correct an error made at one of the Weight Watchers Centers. I was out of town for a funeral but made a point to weigh in. The center was not automated. When I returned home, the autmated center entered the weigh in on May 13 instead of May 18. So now my weight record shows one week with "multiple enteries" and the following week with no entry at all. I made such an effot to get off that plane and head to Weight Watchers. Unfortunate that the local center cannot correct the effort and the customer service line promises to call me back but never does.
I signed up for the online program. On the online site it said that it would be $1.95 after the intial special of 3 months was up and that a mobile app is available for the android phone. After I signed up it said it would be $18.95 per month, $4 more than it said initially AND I downloaded the android app and it is not helpful at all, AND I can't sign into my online account from my phone. When I complained there was no response at all, except to cancell the subscription. It appears to me the only goal of WW is a financial one...to line thier pockets.
I amd my wife are lifetime members. We have become very disenchanted with Weight Watchers. We have been going to the same meeting for over four years. We are now in our third location. We were very happy with the great group instructer and program. Recently we were moved again to a community room at a church. And now they are taking the earlier sat morning meeting away. Instead of starting early they are just keeping the later one. What was nice about the early one was you could get you meeting over and have the balance of the day for other plans. Also due to the moves we have lost all of the modern check in and weigh in convieniences. It takes longer and is more cumbersum. We have lost almost all of the group we knew and the turnout is very low. It has become boring and repitious , and we seem to get no corporate help just a defensive attitude from the instructor. We asked for some one to contact from corporate and were told look on line. There is no true guideance for lifetime and I truly believe the company wants the turnover as that is the only way they can make money. Thanks for listening. One special meeting in our area was held for lifetime members and it was full and everyone there has gained most of or part of theyre weight back. Great plan for weight loss not for maintenance.
Really it doesn't matter to me if the quote, un-quote stars are getting paid to represent W.W. I enjoy seeing jennifer hudson on W.W. commercials simply because she is maintaing her weight loss through W.W. that is the whole point to me. Usually when anyone lose weight through any program they turn around and gain all of it back and some. I think what we should focus on is the fact that people like jennifer hudson is keeping it off through the best means possible for her, in this case W.W. So go ahead and let her flaunt it through commercials. Great success story I think.
I love Jennifer Hudson as WW spokesperson. But have you seen the new McDonald commercial for their new chicken nuggets? IT'S A JENNIFER HUDSON LOOKALIKE!!! The McDonals actress is a black woman wearing a hat just like Jennifer Hudson often wears. And she looks very similar to Jennifer Hudson! But she's eating chicken nuggets! And we know Jennifer Hudson wouldnt eat ZmcDonals nasty chicken nuggets! Someone else watch it and agree with me. Weight Watcher corporate office--Do Something about that commercial! The actress is with 2 or 3 friends playing pool and eating those nasty nuggets. No one could convince me that actress isn't supposed to portray Jennifer Hudson.
I have been weighing in at a center in southeast Michigan. The program is good and the leader has been effective but I am shocked that the company is allowing a former member of our group to work at our center checking us in. This woman used to sit in front of us at meetings gossiping about others and know she is allowed to review all of our records? I am in favor of her working for we just not where she attended meeting!
I would like to help you out, save you money and in the process set me on the path to a healthy and lighter lifestyle. I heard that Jessica Simpson is being paid 3 million dollars. I work in an industry that has very high, long hours, much negativity and poor eating habits. How can we help.... well first you would not have to pay 3 million dollars. I respresent regular everyday hard working women. Save your money. Go through your client list and see how many celebrities are purchasing from you vs free membership. Contact me via email to discuss further.
I have been a lifetime member since 2006 and I have lost over 60 pounds with weight watchers. I have a suggestion that the Maintenance Program needs to be revamped. I suggest that there be classes held just for the people on the maintenance program and it be sperated from the other trying to loose weight. I get fustrated that there is not more detail put into us maintaing our weight goal. I have lost and gain throughout the program and continue to go back and fourth. It is nice that Lifetime members are free but I am in favor of a new program for those who are trying to stay motivated to maintain. Thanks Jennifer
Dear whom ever is the producer of commercials, I just get sick when you put beautiful Jennifer Hudson on T.V. commercials and allow her to say wiff out instead of correcting her and having her speak correctly "with out" Your letting her look and sound stupid. Shame on you. Step up grow some and let her know in a very nice way that she is pronouncing it wrong. Someone spent a lot of money on that little girl to get her looking as beautiful as she is now, how about a few english classes. You will be doing her a favor.
I couldn't be happier with my counselor and center in East Brunswick, NJ. I entered the office on June 1st, and as of today, I am down 19 pounds. The program makes so much sense to me and has changed my relationship with food. In fact, one of my cousins was so motivated that she started last week. I do have a suggestion for corporate headquarters. Please consider making a box of different foods that could be sampled before you purchase the entire one. It might contain eight different offerings. It makes so much sense to do it. Another cousin of mine prepared a surprise bag of different offerings for me, and I was able to go and purchase my favorites. My meeting group agreed with my idea...for your consideration. Thank you.
