21215 biscayne blvd,Aventura ,Fl 6/24/2012 -3:22p.m My family went to this pancake house in high hopes instead we had a disaster  of a meal..my husband recieved his chicken sandwich with uncooked chicken he ate half of it until he realized he was eating pink chicken,my mother ordered a hamburger and it was complemetely uncooked it still had the formation of raw beef and was completely uncooked..When we informed the manager 'micheal hilton'proceeded to give us HALF off of our meal, even though we ate none of it and waited 45 minutes for it(every meals was being served at different times) our waitress 'Vicky' was no help as well as we paid the original price of $31 dollars for raw/cold food. I'm writing this in the event that my husband or mother gets ill from any of the raw food they  consumed and also to inform you that the way our service was handled was appalling..I sincerely hope this doesn't reoccur with any of your future guest because this is quite honestly a law suite waiting to happen,

We took our family out for breakfast at the Scotsdale Az.OPH.We where told it would be a 30 min wait turned out to be 1hr.20 min wait.Sat down the waitress spilled coffee all over the patron at the next table What a mess. Twenty more min. we got drinks. THE APPLE PANCAKES WHERE GOOD the other 4 breakfasts where beyond horid. Cold, under cooked bacon, dry corn beef hash over cooked eggs and never asked if we wanted more coffee.Terrible service $100.00 later we left never to return. I was so excited to find a OPH in Az. We ate in Vegas for years and before that in Ill. Never had one problem in over 20 some years but this place should be ashamed of it's self.

We have been dining at the Northwest Highway and Midway location every Sunday for almost two years. The service is oftentimes great, but it is very, very poor sometimes. Recently, we had Roger H. as our waiter. We had had him in the past and have never had a good experience with this person. He has very poor customer service and doesn't ever smile. He acts very disinterested in his job, and we have witnessed him getting angry at the other servers on more than one occasion. It really spoils our Sunday breakfast experience. We will not be going to this location anymore, and have been dining at the Lemmon store the last couple of weeks. So far, so good. Two more complaints about the Northwest Hwy location: There is not enough handicapped parking, and the booths are not mounted to the floor. Often, people cannot fit into a booth because the person behind them has pushed their bench back too far. It is almost comical to watch each Sunday. The patrons often seem to get pissed off at the folks behind them. A little shoving war sometimes develops. We are done with that location even though the food has always been passable.

We are brand new in atlanta and were thrilled to see the Alpharetta area has an OPH less than 4 miles from our new home. I couldn't wait to go after loving the one in Kirkland Wa. We all know it can be a little on pricey side but usually well worth it. I noticed the menu was a little different but went for the fresh fruit crepes and requested no sour cream or kirsh sauce. I was told then I needed to order the crepe shells and fruit separately. When the bill came I was charged extra. I inquired and they sent a manager over who proceeded to tell me they don't have any way to communicate that to the kitchen. He was willing to adjust my check but became nasty when I told him I did not understand how that could be. There are people with food allergies and special dietary needs how can this be? I also told him that I did not feel that should be an excuse to charge someone 1.50 more for less ingredients and less effort in the kitchen. He told me that the owner, who is by the way a franchisee, can do what ever he wants. How's that for customer service. I was asked if I wanted to speak to him and when I said yes he could not be bothered to come to our table. I was handed a greasy business card and told to call back in the morning. The poor waitress was appalled. She then said I should have just ordered them on the side. Now I was really confused, I could get ingredients I did not want on the side for no extra charge? This could be communicated to the kitchen??? Further more, this would indeed require more time and effort for the kitchen for extra ingredients that would get thrown away. So what is the real message here. What is wrong with this owner and does OPH want to be represented by this kind of service and screw the customer mentality? In this economy no one needs this especially when our check for 2 breakfast was well over $30.00. It is my hope that the corporate office will do something with this individual. Until then he can do without our business and I will be letting others know.

5/15/2011 JUST FINISHED BREAKFAST AT THE JENSEN BEACH LOCATION. RESTAURANT IS SPOTLESS. SERVICE WAS GREAT - MANAGER STOPPED BY THE TABLE TWICE TO ASK IF EVERYTHING WAS OK. WAITRESS COULD NOT BE MORE HELPFUL. BUT MOST OF ALL THE FOOD WAS TERRIFIC TASTING AND PLENTIFUL. HAD THE DUTCH BABY WITH STRAWBERRIES. IT WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR TWO PEOPLE. WILL BE BACK WITH MY FRIENDS.

i was shocked that your pancakes are cooked in peanut oil as i have a deadly allergy to all nuts and peanuts. in this day and age where young children at school are separated so that the children with allergies are not even close to the children with peanut sandwiches why would any big company take into consideration that this could be deadly? please reconsider what you cook your food in as times have changed and the word can spread quickly and put you out of business.

After reading the reviews for the new Pleasant Hill location I won't bother, and BTW where are the coupons? I see two $ for this place, but have to think if they are so hurting for business we'd better not go and risk a bad experience.

I loved OPH in Oregon. I was a regular customer to both the original one in PDX & Salem when I lived up there. I'd go out of my way to visit the Eugene one whenever I was passing through. It is therefore very sad that your Nor Cal locations are not up to snuff. The Fremont one is sliding downhill in quality (cold crepes?!) and if you check out Yelp, you'll be appalled by the mostly negative feedback from over 35 posts about your new Pleasant Hill location. The "chefs" there seem to not be familiar with your famous menu. I really wanted to give Pleasant Hill a try but after all the negative reviews I'm simply not risking it. You better clean up your act especially in Pleasant Hill or that place will soon close after it opened.

On Friday, 11/10/10, I went to your new restaurant in Pleasant Hill, CA. I was oh so looking forward to going as I have previously gone to your location in San Diego. I was appalled by the service. I had ordered an apple pancake. I was then informed that the owner had sampled out my pancake and it would be at least 15-20 minutes before I would receive my. Meanwhile they brought out the eggs my father had ordered and the two orders of bacon. I was then offered a dutch baby in place of my order which I declined because I had not ordered that item. About another 5 minuets after that I was then informed that it would be at least an hour before they would be making additional apple pancakes. Needless to say the bacon was already eaten we had to settle for some buttermilk pancakes which they then insisted in sending some sauteed apples to place which I had told them I did not want. As we were walking out I noticed that someone had indeed been served an apple pancake. As you can imagine we were not happy customers and it will be a very long time before I even think about returning. Also, it might be a new place but the tables were lop-sided, leaning and wobbly. And, they need instructions as to how to adjust them - not when the customer already has coffee on the table. For such a reputable franchise this one needs much direction if it expects to stay in business. Sincerely, Georgina Lopez

2nd and last time I go there. First had 2 wait staff argue in front of me about who got to serve the table. Then pancakes served cold. Wait person did not ask if meal was OK. This was the Eden Prarie, MN location. Remember now, that Eden Prarie was voted the #1 place to live by CNN. I bet if they visited this OPH that rating would drop significantly.

This is in reference to the restraunt in jenson beach.. the service was so poor that we got up and left. so i cant even begin to tell you what the food was like. i know that it doesnt take thirty minutes to cook breakfast when there are atleast ten tables that i see open around me. I believe that my food sat in the window for atleast 10 mins. i hope that u can weed through these problems thank you

I saw the banner up on the building yesterday & they're currently hiring for people, my guess it will be opening soon! Yum

I would like to know if the rumor I heard that The Original Pancake House is opening on US 1 in Jensen Beach, FL is true. I live 10 minutes from there and would love to see that happen. Also I live 5 minutes from one in NJ during the summer which we go to quite often. thank you for your reply
