I bank with On Point Credit Union (formerly Portland Teachers C.U. ) I have been a since a member since the 70 s and the best move I ever made! They are a full svicree C.U. and I have my mortgage with them. Other than interest on my mortgage I pay no bank fees. They are always helpful and do a great job of making sure their customers understand their transactions. If Social Security is cut, I know I can count on my credit union to help me keep my home .it doesn't get any better than that! Do yourselves a favor and check out your local Credit Unions! Mine makes Oregon a great place to live!
I just wanted to let you know how special the employees in the Community Bank, located in Belfast, NY are. I am always so impressed with how polite, courteous, friendly, helpful and professional they are. They go out of their way to make each one of their customers feel welcome and appreciated. I often go into a different bank where I still hold an account and I can tell you that I am NEVER treated as nicely as I am when I go into the Community Bank. DEAR SIRS I AM WRITING TO LET YOU KNOW HOW BADLY I WAS TREATED BY MY COMMUNITY BANK IN SHERMAN NY BY THEIR BRANCH MANAGER, SHANNON STEVENS. I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER WITH THIS BANK FOR MANY YEARS AND THEN LEFT DUE TO THE LACK OF CONFIDENTIALITY BUT DECIDED TO GIVE THE BANK A SECOND CHANCE. I WAS TREATED PROPERLY BY THE BRANCH MANAGER DENISE, BUT SHE IS NO LONGER WITH THE BANK, AND HAVE HAD TWO BAD INCIDENTS WITH THE PRESENT BRANCH MANAGER, SHANNON. SHE WAS VERY RUDE AND SHORT WITH ME BOTH DEALINGS I HAVE HAD WITH HER AND DID NOT EVEN GIVE ME A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN MY SITUATION, SHE KEPT SAYING IT WAS THE BANKS POLICY AND SHE COULD NOT HELP ME. ALSO BEFORE I HAD A CHANCE TO SEE HER SHE WAS YELLING AT A CUSTOMER ON THE PHONE AND KEPT SAYING THE SAME THING SHE SAID TO ME, THAT THERE WAS NOTHING SHE COULD DO FOR THE CUSTOMER AND IT WAS BANK POLICY, WHETHER THIS IS TRUE OR NOT THERE ARE BETTER WAYS OF DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS OTHER THAN MAKING THEM FEEL INCOMPITENT. I HOPE YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF THIS SITUATION ON A TIMELY BASIS BUT I WILL ME WITHDRAWING MY MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT AND I WILL LET OTHERS KNOW HOW BADLY I WAS TREATED!
