I too was setting up a Kiwibank Business Account today Except I caleld them 2 weeks ago to start the process - which went exceptionally well! A very helpful CSR caleld Sally had most of it done and dusted within about 5 minutes. In fact, she opened 2 accounts for me Then I got some paperwork in the mail last week all going well still Then I went to the Ponsonby branch this afternoon for the final step a $50 deposit to actually have my accounts And that's where it went diabolically pear-shaped I waited for at least 20 minutes in plain view of the only KB counter staff on duty in the front office'. She carried on chatting to a client without even acknowledging me disgraceful I could hear enough of their conversation to know that it was just a chat any business was well and truly done. So, given that I had a new 3GS on me, I took some time to download some more games and other apps hardly the productive use of my time that my business bank should be encouraging me to participate in I also had proceeded far enough along the process to want to finish so when a really nice NZ Post staff member turned up to help me out, I was finally shown into a back office' room decor very much as per Lance's photos And so now, a really helpful but diabolically under-equipped KB staffer took my cash deposit which took another 20 minutes or so, including phone calls, and calling in another KB'er to help out with the software Hopeless And when I finally left, the pensioner who joined me in the queue out front was still waiting for the chat to finish disgusting Looking forward to the KB online experience, hoping / planning to never set foot in a branch again Lance how was ASB?
