I have visited the restaurant in Mesquite many times, every time we visit family. It is awesome!! When will there be one in Mobile??
April 2011 Dear Corporate Officers: On behalf of my wife and I, we are writing to commend and compliment the seven Souper Salad locations that we patronized in Colorado (Greater Denver and Colorado Springs). We are in the process of relocating to Colorado from Texas. During our 10-day visit to Colorado we dined at each location two or three times. Each location that we patronized EXCEEDED our expectations. During each dining experience we were impressed with the restaurant’s cleanliness, food quality, manager’s leadership, staff’s work ethics, and friendliness. We feel compelled to acknowledge each restaurant’s manager for their location’s OUTSTANDING performance. We have patronized several locations in Houston, but none could compare to the outstanding quality and performance that we experienced in Denver. Keep up the GREAT job. • Stephanie (Mgr) Denver (Store #1080). • Robin (Mgr) Greenwood Village (Store #12) • Joe (Mgr) Lakewood (Store #1145) • Westminster (Store #1104) • Colorado Springs (Store #107) • Melissa (Mgr) London Square (Store #66) • Nicole (GM) London Square (Store #66) We look forward to continuing our patronage of your Greater Denver locations. Sincerely, D & S from Houston
I visited your restaurant in Wichita, KS today and was so disappointed. First impression was it was filthy. From the inside tables, to the windows, the actual salad bar, the soup bar and the ice cream bar was so nasty. It needs to sparkle, shine and give that first impression of being clean. I almost walked out, but decided to give it a try. It was 6:30pm on a Sunday night, and the the containers were mostly empty for the salad bar. There were 5 choices of salad and only two actually had lettuce in them. I had to look for an employee and ask for spinach. There was no pizza and had to ask for that. The soup bar had three empty containers. The bread bar was missing bread on three trays. I had to ask for everything I wanted because the containers were empty. I didn't see any manager. This place could use some supervision or good managing in order to be successful. I travel for a living and have never been to one of your stores, and it is highly unlikely that I would visit one of your stores in the future after this experience. Just thought you all should know. Thank you.
I ate at the souper salad on bowled and Wadsworth in Colorado last night and had a horrible experience, the girl working salad bar failed to clean or replenish any of the food instead she enjoyed talking to fellow co workers...bad customer service makes me never want to eat at this restaurant again.
I eat in the De Zavala store(San Antonio) regularly. You have recently changed the pizza to a thicker crust with sugar. Because of rampant diabetis disease in San Antonio, could you use a dough without sugar and make the pizza with thin crust. The foos is always fresh and crisp, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Thanks
I hope all you peeps tip!!!!!
We went to the souper salad in el paso, tx on viscount st.....it was horrible....filthy and repulsive! There was food ever where and a damn dirty restaurant.not one employee swept the dirty floors and the cracker were not wrapped talk about a sanitation problem. How this place is still open is beyond me! Never again
On 12/09/2010 I complained about the soupersaled located at the Fiesta Mall area in Mesa.I said I would not return there to eat again, but my wife convince me to return on 03/02/2011, and what a suprise. The place was clean, food was fresh, and the help was very polite. I want to thank who ever is responsible for the turn around of this restaurant, and hope the good effort will continue.
Your Fiesta Mall, Mesa, Arizona Location is nasty. I would not send my worst enemy there over cooked breads and your employs look all doped up
Sirs, I live in Corpus Christi, Texas and do enjoy your Restaurant. I would like for you to offer more often the sweet cole slaw. That is the best tasting cole slaw in town! I do enjoy your soups - beef noodle, tomato basil, and others. Like your small pizza offerings - keeps me from over doing it on a larger scale. Your bread sticks are also very tasty. But please, would like to see the Sweet Cole Slaw more often. Thank you.
I was a waitress for a Souper Salad and I'm sorry some of you had bad experiences. This restraunt is really not all that bad, it's just some of the people who make it appear that way. If I had a way to contact each of you I would personally do so and make my apologies and I wish you not to think of the company in a bad way. Souper Salad is a great company, a rewarding one to work for and the staff I worked for and have known are nothing but friendly and hardworking. If you would like to contact me, you may do so by emailing me kamxwam@yahoo.com

Food was so,so fresh,on like the food at Sweet Tomato.Service was poor.I just wanted to let you no you lost another customer who will never return. Don't no how you can keep your doors open.Hope your cooking area is cleaner then your service area.Or maybe the state of Arizona should inspect you restaurant
November 22, 2010 Souper Salad #39 8900 Viscount El Paso, TX 79925 Dear Manager: On November 22, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. I took a colleague to dine at your restaurant. Unfortunately, the server completely ignored us for a full 15 minutes before I had to get up and go to the cashier to ask for someone to provide us with drinks. We then needed refills. We waited a very long time. I then went to the cashier’s station to see if a cashier might return to acknowledge me. She did not. I tried to flag down any staff member. The short, heavy set woman ignored me and pretended not to see me. I then found the same initial woman who I asked for drinks previously. I wanted to ask the server if there would be croutons added to the salad bar and if the blueberry bread would be replaced. However, due to the lack of attention, I was unable to do. Feeling lucky to actually obtain drinks. This was unacceptable. She returned with a TO GO cup and said, “That will be $1.00” I was visibly upset, this embarrassed me. My colleague laughed nervously and looked at me to see what my reaction would be. This put me in a considerably embarrassing situation. The girl then replied, “Gotcha! HA HA!” No apologies, no respect. I immediately left feeling that the entire transaction was NOT worth the price that I paid. We sat directly behind the cashier’s station. She was a young lady, I believe her name started with an “A” if I am not mistaken. Dark hair, 5’4” and about 130 lbs. I am including the receipt. I can assure you that I will never return to Souper Salad as a direct result. It is a shame. I usually post online reviews and will do so in the near future. I wanted to provide Souper Salad with an opportunity to address this issue. It was very disturbing to me to find this lack of customer service in such a reputable restaurant. I appreciate your time and hope to hear from you soon. Respectfully,
I visited your restaurant in Arlington TX today for lunch with my family. I had not been in a Souper Salad in many years. When I asked if I could just pay for soup only, or a potato only, I was told by a rude cashier- "NO! the price is $7.00+ to go through the line." Well, nothing looked fresh or appetizing. My husband bought himself a "ticket" and later gave me a piece of Pizza (you know how small these are cut) and he had a small salad plate since he too din't like the look or freshness of the salad bar. The waitress, or manager, came and insulted me by calling me a thief since I was also eating (1 slice of Pizza) in front of my family, POORLY HANDLED! I offer to pay in cash ( $7.00+ for 1 pizza slice) but she continued to berate me and did not accept the money. How can you charge $7 for one slice of Pizza? I weigh 118 lbs. 5'4''. My husband is not fat, or obese. If anything, the rude waitress should have been thinking out of the box, and been more diplomatic. She could have Quietly said something to me, and not embarrass me in front of the whole restaurant. Oh, yes, 12 noon and the restaurant is almost empty. The bathroom was filthy!. The white tile floor where the tables are placed was ingrained with dirt. I dropped some water on the floor, tried to wipe it up with a napkin and the napkin was black. Should I be calling the Health Department on this restaurant? The above story explains why Jason's Deli is always crowded every day of the week and your restaurant was empty. Your restaurant should advertise that it serves people who eat 2 plates of sald piled a mile high, 4 cups of soup, dessert etc. as was obvious by all the huge people eating at this restaurant: These are ustomers who are interested in lots of food and not quality food, or service. Shame on the managers of this restaurant. Shame on your company.
My husband and I enjoy Souper Salad in Pueblo, Colorado. We come in at least once every two weeks. I am very pleased to say that it is the nicest resturaunt enviornment we have been in. The staff is just wonderful. They young lady at the register was very very helpful and she had great customer service skills! Also, our waitress was excellent! She used her manners when she came around to pick up used plates. Our drinks were NEVER empty, she also had excellent customer service. She talked to anyone and everyone that came in that resturaunt. She made time to tell us and other customers goodbye and to have a nice day as they walked out the door. Even though some of the people were not her customers. The manager was helping out and also talking to customers. I am a very observant person about my surroundings, and yes I did get names.... Way to go ladies, Bridgette,Debbie, and Linette. I hope I spelled names correctly. Thank you very much Pueblo Souper Salad, this corporation is LUCKY to have you.
I am writing this complaint to your offices in regards to the Souper Salad resraurant at Fiesta Mall in Mesa Arizona. I am very displeased with the service renered at your store today. 1st of all I find it to be very pooly managed as the manager was running around the store looking like a chicken with his head cut off! Not only was he unavailable to handle the problems at hand, but when his employees attempted to get his assistace repeatedly he completely ignored them. If that's not enough I went in to purchase two salad meals to go and after being charged almost $20.00 for two meals they didn't even have the proper containers in which to place the food in. I was given a large party tray and told to only fill it half way. When I questioned this then I was given small containers with out lids and was told I could staple two bowls together. Can you believe that?, Finally I voiced my displeasure with this operation, and nothing was even offered to me for the inconvenience I was put through for wasting my entire lunch break filling small containers. I spend an average of $150.00-$250.00 at your restaurant a month, and in this economy that is well over the public average. Please know that this has left a very sour taste in my mouth and neither me or my family will patronize your establishment again after my ordeal today.
I wanted to let you know about an issue that is happening at one of your restaurants. My wife and I have enjoyed going to Souper Salad on Arapahoe in Denver, CO for many years. Just this week we went and found that a homeless person has started asking customers for money in front of the restaurant. They said it had been going on for 2 weeks, but he would come in and pay for a meal (right! from the money he just bummed!). There are plenty of places for homeless people to get help, and letting them bum in front of the restaurant is a bad choise on the management's part. This will lead to more bums and it gives the restaurant a bad image. Please tell your stores not to allow this! Otherwise it will drive customers (including my wife and me) away!
we went to you souper salad in glendale, az - its been awhile-the first thing we noticed was over eight selections were empty and there was no pizza availble .the restaurant is also starting to show age on the fixed inventory, its too bad because we have always enjoyed going there.the quality of food was only fair and the selection seemed also limited. i tried to send this information to your internet site but your contact site was shut down- could it be you don"t want to here from the public?
