Inappropriate greeting
Had a great meal at Ruth chris, however it was ruined by the way we were greeted at the table. The reservation was thru Open Table in my name. We were welcomed very loudly as mr and mrs ..... There was no way to know if we were married. I go to a restaurant to relax not to have the entire restaurant know I'm there. What if it had been a business associate or worse a "lover"? Too many assumptions were made. I will not return
I have always heard so much about your restaurant and finally had the opportunity visiting the one in Anaheim, CA. After recieving my steak I noticed my plate was cracked down the middle where the steak was. I already eaten a few bites upon noticing this. I said something to two waiters and they sort of made fun of me. Cracked plate, Ha Ha. I than told our waiter and he asked me what I wanted him to do. He said he would trade plates. The manager came over and asked me what did I want, a new plate? I just told them to forget the whole thing. This left a real bad taste in my mouth about Ruth's Chris. No one even said they were sorry! So much] for the fabulous restaurant.

Poor quality
I was at your Wailea restaurant the week of Dec.6th with my husband. We were celebrating 40 years together and had been to this location 3 times before. This time I was served a rotten potato and a strip steak that was less than the width of a flat pancake. Our waiter who was wonderful and has served us before took the steak back and brought back a beautiful steak . My question is... why did that scrap of a strip steak leave the kitchen in the first place and why does a chef send out a rotten potato? We travel to many states and always include your restaurant in our must go to... I hope that the quality is never compromised elsewhere. You would have been ashamed of what was served.
DISASTER
I HAD DINNER WITH A FRIEND AT YOUR SAN FRANCISCO STORE LAST NIGHT. THE KNIVES WERE SO DULL I CUT THE STEAK WITH A KNIFE I CARRY WITH ME. I ASKED FOR NO BUTTER ON THE FILLET AND IT CAME WITH BUTTER. THE BREAD WAS THE CHEAPEST AND WORST TO BE FOUND IN SAN FRANCISCO, A CITY KNOWN FOR SOUR DOUGH, ETC. EVERYTHING WAS A LA CARTE. HARRIS HAS YOU BEAT TEN TIMES OVER. YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER. THE PLATES WERE SOMETHING ONE WOULD FIND IN A KENNEL. I COULD RUN THE PLACE BETTER. THE SALAD WAS FLAT AND NOT FRESH. SHORT THE STOCK.
My wife, son and daughter-in-law visited Ruth Chris's Steakhouse @the Pavillion's Shopping Center in Sacramento, Calif. on March 31st. We were greeted immediately and seated in a comfortable booth per our request when we made our reservations. The Manager greeted us also. Our Server, Robert was extremely professional, helpful and always checking to see if everything was satisfactory. Even the Water Server, Taylor was wonderful and efficient. The food was "over the top".....We all had steak with various side dishes and dessert (the best bread pudding,etc. We also visit Morton's Steakhouse often and it is always supurb but we all agreed that Ruth Chris's was by far better.....The butter under our steaks was absolutely delicious and the potatoes au gratin were even better than my wife's (although her receipe is great) I am going to make reservations for your resturant tomorrow or Tuesday for another son and his wife along with myself and my wife for April 28th to celebrate our daughter-in-law and our sons Birthday....we are looking forward to another great experience @ Ruth Chris Steakhouse. I just wanted to pass this on to you....being in the resturant business myself, I am always greatful for satisfied customers and also greatful to know if there are any dissatisfied customers as well. It was dark when I woke. This is a ray of sunsnhie.
Birthday turned bad when rib lamb chops were under cooked then replaced with an under cooked fillet on a platter that spattered grease on my blouse. The manager insisted I have creamed spinach, that I did not want and dessert I did not want as compensation for my disappointment. They would be free of charge. Big deal I did not want them. When asked the waiter said the bisque had lobster chunks. The lobster bisque did not have lobster chunks, just bits of lobster. Our table was the center of unwanted attention. It was totally embarrassing.
