As a frequent car renter I have never had a car given away after arriving one hour after pick up time and having had the rental prepaid for one week. The only help I received was to pay twice my original quoted rate for a rental with no refund for my prepaid rental. It appears the norm for rentalcars.com from the many reviews I have read . To bad about the car rental companies affiliated with them and the negative reviews associated to their I don't give a dam attitude.

Do not rent from this company! They suck you in with low prices, then don't tell you the whole story (except hidden in their T & C's.) I rented online from another country for a US car and when I got to the rental desk, they wouldn't rent to me because I didn't have an out of country driver's license. Nowhere on my confirmation does it say I needed that. Now I am trying to get a refund because I had to rent a twice as expensive car instead. I will NEVER rent from RentalCars.com or Priceline again.
