I love rainbow an I'm a frequently shop at rainbow. Luv the items but the appearance is everything...but some worker are the pits...its bad 4 business... False Advertisement With the gift cards if the back of the gift card says in-store or Website then I expect to be able to use my gift card online and not told that I can only use in store I didn't print the terms on the back and if you can't use it on line then it shouldn't say you can on the back of the card I would've never spent my money. So for now on I will be taking me money else where

rude manager

The manager at 1436 in baltimore, md is rude. She doesn't know how to talk to people. She doesn't know how to difference in how to be professional from her ghetto hood side. She has no respect for her employees or customers. I don't know if she is going through something, but she needs to get it together. I was shopping in the store one day and she came in on her day off screaming at her employees ftom the front door. I couldn't believe that she was actually screaming at them that I just had to leave the store because she was very rude and inappropriate. I done even want to give it a star but I don't have an option. If it was up to me it wouldn't get any stars.

I live in Philadelphia and I have a complaint on the clothing store Rainbow in Olney Plaza of Philadelphia, PA. I do not like their policy. The manager of that particular store does not know how to treat people. I was in the store 10 minutes before 9, brought my item up to the store cashier and she said and I quote "I announced that I was closed 3 minutes ago". I was in the store, the door wasn't locked, in fact they were still letting more people inside. Why is it that you can not cash my item? I was so disappointed and hurt. My daughter was crying because it was her first bra. That's why a lot of people prefer to go to Walmart, Target, Macy's, and Sears and do not support the local stores. If you are in the store and it's time for closing then the door should be shut and you should keep the people that is already in the store.

Triple negative service, uneducated ghetto employees. In urban communities we deserve better.

Lauderhill Mall Store

After reading all the earlier comments, it seem like it's a patern throughout the Rainbow system... My daughter have worked there for 3 years, She got a little promotion to Shoe (whatever), with a little raise.. Now the new manager brought in some new people and are systematically trying to frustrate her to quit..She's now demoted... and her already meekly salary decreased as well.. Her days are cut to 2 a week & she has to call to see if she's need on those dayz........ i mean come on.. even with a 5 -7 day weekly shift one can hardly survive.. someone at Corporate Headquarters need to do a Undercover Boss type thing to see whats really going on with Customers and employees as well.

poor customer service

My daughter ordered to of the animal hooded shirts on 11/06/13 and she still has not received them. I called fedex they can not locate them but everything on the trailer that the shirt wasmon has delivered. Fedex said call rainbow which I did. I was told they was gonna let the supervisor know and to call back, I waited 2 days and called back and was told they was going to let the supervisor handle it and it should take 2 weeks. I stated its been over 2 weeks and we have not received them, wait about 2 weeks is all I got. That came from heer child support and she wants her shirts, im not going to wait anylonger, I even asked for a refund or resend the shirts nothing.

bad and rude service

My shopping experience was horrible. The workers are giving out wrong information to the customers and when I spoke to the manager she was ru professional. She was speaking spanish in fornt of me talking about me not even knowing that I understood what she was saying. I cannot believe you have people managing your business like this. What a joke!

My job

Hi I work a rainbow 557 the one in 163rd mall and Im complaining about how they are being unfair with hours because I started working there before a couple of girls and the fact that they are getting more hours than me it makes no sense and its starting too feel like a racial thing and seeming since i been there first its starting too really bug means Im trying not to take it there or be ignorant and think that it's a racial thing but that's how it's feeling At the moment because all the other sales associates are Spanish including the other girls that came after me so it seems like my hours that I was getting before they came in are being giving too them and I tired talking too the manager but she does not understand me so this been occurring for a couple of weeks now

I can spend my money elsewhere

Upon my arrival at the Eastwood location in Birmingham,AL, I was advised by the saleswoman that I could not try on any clothing after 5:30, even though the store closes at 6:00pm on Sundays. After finding something I liked, I asked to try it on. She asked the manager for the time and the manager's response was "time to go". I looked at my watch and it was only 5:22. The lady reluctantly let me in the dressing room. I tried the pants on but refused to let myself spend my money there. Luckily, I found a better quality pair of pants at a cheaper price at Wal-Mart. The upper management for Rainbow should not be so confident in their market position. There are plenty of companies out of business due to bad customer service.

totally disgusted

I came into the store in depew ny with my girl and the store has a bad selection. The people working were rude and unhelpful except the one lady. But we were watched like hawks like she couldnt even bring a pair of heals in the changing room to see if they went with the outfits this store is so sloppy to sloppy to be a store in this town corporate needs go clean up these stores. There was only one nice worker

Unprofessional

My daughter works at a store in Richmond, VA she is treated very unprofessionally constantly its like a high school and the managers are in some type of clique. If they like you, you can do anything if they don't like you can't even if you are a better worker than the person they like. Very unprofessional and extremely tacky.

This place is a joke

This place sucks no matter which one you go to, and working for them is even worse. Talk about GHETTO!! Extremely unprofessional managers and district managers. This place needs a major overhaul.

Disgusted

My shopping experience at Rainbow in Swansea, IL was the worst. From the time me and my friends walked through the door we were treated like criminals. We were told not to look at the shoe display in the front of the store and that the shoes were in the back for us to look at. No one offered acknowledged us or offered any help finding anything and when I selected some jewelry that I intended on purchasing I was told I had to leave the jewelry at the counter while I shopped. The associate approached me and took the jewelry from me. After that I left. I never felt so disgusted and embarrassed in my life. Your company lost a sale and a customer!

Port Arthur Store the worse

Up in NY customer service was satisfactory considering how busy they always been. Down in Port Arthur, TX store is dead unless there's deals. Customer service is horrible they act like they got the store all to themselves, they don't acknowledge you and make you stand in line forever while they're holding personal conversations. They get to the customer if they, and when they want too its so annoying!

My experience in the Rainbow clothing was the worst! I came out with nothing. The sales person was rude and argumetive with me the customer when I asked him about a sgoe and he statwd he wasnt on the clock. I asked him where do they do that at. Because regardless if you on the clock or not theres a better way of saying it. Never will I shop at store #91 in Atlanta. Ga.
