Why I choose to boycott Popeyes

I learned recently that Popeye's Chicken will no longer accept coupons from its customers. And, to add insult to injury, Popeyes has changed the size of its containers for Family side orders to a much smaller size. Now, when a customer orders, for example, the beans and rice as a Family side order, they overload this now smaller container with rice with hardly any beans. I will no longer pay $4.00 for 1/2 cup of beans with so much rice until the beans are overtaken with the stiffness of too much rice....This, in my opinion, is a major customer rip-off...so good bye and good riddance to Popeyes in Houston, Texas.

Well . I'd think you were talking about my dad, but oh yeah, we don't live in your state. My dad has a crack prloebm. His pants just don't stay up so sometimes we get exposed to his crack. And my friend's daughter, well, they say she has a high crack. It just goes up higher than the normal crack, so then again, many people see her crack, or coin slot, as they call it. Never knew I could have so much fun talking about crack. Glad to see you are in good old Rena frame of mind!!!

I was in Popeye's chicken in Houston Tx on 3-27-12 and I ordered 2 drum sticks and the lady told me that I could not order that and then asked her again can I get 2 drum sticks she replied again mam we cannot sell you to drumsticks. I said to her are you telling me I can not order two legs and a corn on the cob she replied again no mam I cannot sell it to you like that, she said you can subsitute with a breast I then replied subsitute what and what are you talking about. I only want to order two legs and a corn on the cob. So i said just forget and I left the store. So I was confused about what just happen I called the store and asked for the manager and I asked if I wanted to but to drum sticks what would you tell me and he said I can't sell it to you like that so therefore he said the same thing the lady in the store said. So finally he said I would have to pay extra for a leg because today the special is for a leg and a thigh and I told him I never asked for a special I only wanted two legs and a corn on the cob. His reply to me was sorry mam maybe she did not understand you and my reply to hinm was you did not understand me either because I never asked you for a special I only asked to order to legs and the corn. I am so confused with the issue because I have never been turned down to order what I want at popeyes. This was disappointing to me. I went to another Popeyes and order the same thing and drove thru the window and got exacly what I asked for and paid my money with no questions asked.

I WAS IN POPEYS MARCH 17 2012 AS I ENTERED THE STORE I WAS HEADED TO THE WOMENS BATHROOM AND THE LIGHTS WERE OFF IT DIDNT DAWN TO ME THAT THE FLOOR WAS WET UNTIL I FOUND MY SELF FALLING ON THE FLOOR SO THEN I WENT TO THE COUNTER AND TOLD WHO I THOUGHT WAS THE MANGER TO PUT A WET FLOOR SIGN OUT AND THEY DID BUT WHAT IF I WAS A 65 YER OLD THAT WOULD HAVE FALLEN POPEYS EMPLOYEES NEED TO BE MORE CAREFUL AND NOT WET FLOOR ANF CUT OFF LIGHT YOU ARE ASKING FOR SOME ONE TO BE HURT.ALSO THE MANGER NEVER ASKED ME IF I WAS ALRIGHT NOR DID SHSE TAKE MY NAME . I HAS TO CALL BACK THE NEXT DAY BECAUE MY KNEE WAS SORE THE NEXT MORNING AND I TOLD THEM I WAS NOT GOING TO FILE ANY THING UNDER MY INSURANCE

Hello on Febrary 17,2012@apprimately 5:10pm store #2077, I walkwed in Popeye's to get me something to eat yes when I entered the Restaruant they did have a Wet floor sign displayed in the dining area. So before ordering my food I went to the women restroom the door was closed so I knocked on door to make sure noone was in there once no one answered I walked in as I walked in I slipped and fell hurting my shoulder.I went out and told the young lady who works at Popeye's that was having lunch that they should put a wet floor sign by the restroom because I just fell. I ask for the manager the young lady that assisted me was not the manaager,but maybe training she did check the restroom floor and went to inform the actually manager on duty that they needed a sign, her reply was we have one out so that's good.(which was sitting in the dining area and could easy be mistake for the dining room floor being that it is raining.) I then proceeded to ask her for her name so that I know who to file the complaint on she then stated that she was not the manager so I was later inform that Jeda was the manager and all her workers heard her reply that she was not the manager and she didnt care what I did.

We are writting this complaints about store 1 Cranbrook Rd Cockeysville, Maryland 21030 which is locate 1 block from our dealershilp 800 York Rd Cockeysville, Maryland 21030. Every Saturday we've ordered by using 5 coupons for 5 departments that we have at our company ( Mercedes Benz Sales, VW sales, Audi Sales, Subaru Sales and Used car Sales) and sent only 1 person to pick it up for us. Until reasonly changed new manager at this location and she changed everything here. We are so dissapointed and tried to explain to her that we can not sent 5 different people because is Saturday and busiest date of the week for our company. I told them I would email Popeyes Corp office and they said Go ahead they don't care. Do you think it's right thing to do and treated us like that? We make sure that we would ever never do bussiness with this location again but I would like your reponds and concern about this store. Thanks for your times.

I MA A TRUE FAN AND LOVER OF POPEYES CHICKEN AND HAS BEEN FOR YEARS. mE AND MY HUSBAND VISITED YOUR STREAMWOOD, IL LOCATION ABOUT 2 WEEKS WE ORDERED 10 PC DARK 5 PC CHICKEN TENDER W/ A LARGE CAJUN RICE. (FEEDING A FAMILY OF 6) WHEN WE GOT HOME THE MEAL WAS TOTALLY INCORRECT AND I MOST CERTAINLY UNDERSTAND ACCIDENTS HAPPEN, NO PROBLEM I GET THAT. HOWEVER WHEN MY HUSBAND CALLED HE WAS TOLD TO COME BACK AND THEY'LL REPLACE THE CHICKEN AND RICE. I COME THROUGH THE DRIVE THROUGH AGAIN 2 DAYS LATER TO FIND A 3 PC CHICKEN STRIP WAS ALL WE WERE GETTING (FAMILY OF 6) WHY BOTHER. I GOT THE GM NAME(YILMAZ)AND # TO CALL THE NEXT WHICH I DID, HE HAD NO RECORD OF WHAT HAPPENED TOLD ME TO CALL BACK LATER THAT DAY, WHICH I DID HE WAS GONE. I CALLED THE NEXT DAY FOR THE GM(YILMAZ) TO TELL ME TO CALL THE MANAGER HARSH THE NEXT DAY AND HE COULD RESOLVE THIS, EVERYTIME IVE CALLED SINCE THEN HARSH IS IN A MEETING OR NOT IN.THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE I SPEND GOOD MONEY W/POPEYES SINCERELY A SHOCKED AND DEVASTATED CUSTOMER THAT WILL NOT DO BUSINESS AT ALL WITH POPEYES AGAIN. YOU NEED A RATING OF ZERO STARS...IVE BEEN IN THIS PARTICULAR STORE ON RT 40 #2132 AND THE SERVICE IS BAD NO ITS HORRENDOUS!!! THE DISTRICT MANAGER OR FRANCHISE OWNER SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THE CONDITION OF THIS STORE. THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW WAS BROKEN AND YOU COULD SEE THE GREASE ON THE WALL FROM MY CAR!!! Every night when I get off work I order 3 mild breasts, I've never had any trouble until tonight. What really pushed me to contact you all is that the person on the drive they was giving the person in front of me the same crappy attitude. I know what my order costs I get it at least every other night....not anymore I won't be visiting that store again.

Oh I forgot to mention the location of the Popeyes that I received horrible service.The Popeyes is located in Cleveland,OH located on Clark Ave.The man who worked there had on a blue shirt,who's name is Jerry and he was working in the drive-thru during that time.

I was at the lehigh acres popeye's and i have went there lots of times in the passed and will say the service was pretty bad last night i was greated by Jessie cashier in drive thru very pleasant this guy had a great positve atitude didn' t really have any idea what i wanted just chicken a meal for the family i moved to naples and still work in ft myers so i always get the chance to visit popeye's in lehigh acres and this is one of the first visits i can say i liked if this guy is still there in a year or two i would like to see him with a bigger title he makes popeye's more pleasant for customers how ;ike popeye's

My wife just pulled into a popeyes in grand coteau louisiana. She proceeded to place her order and was cut off by the attendant who told her that they were out of dark chicken spicy thighs. We then tried to change our order to not spicy and she asked us if we would allow two legs because they were out of thighs I told them since a thigh was larger I would exPext three legs to make up the difference. She then told us the only chicken she had available was two mild legs and that was it. While webwere trying to communicate what we wanted to change it to, the other employees started griping and complaining about us taking too long to Place an order. First of all shouldn't a chicken place have chicken. 2nd of all it's not our fault you aren't prepared to serve something that's your bread and butter. And after all that with biting our toungue so these degenerates would not spit in our food, they tried tO give us two ranch sauces for two large orders of chicken tenders. When we Pulled back up and asked for more she said two is all it comes with. After my wide for rude she then gave us two more to take home. I have to say for twenty dollars , for some tenders and biscuits hour service quality needs to pick up. With the e onomy the way it is , you should decent resumes for days. I manage an entire offshore division and if my crew had this type of attitude inwould fire the entire lot of them and start over fresh.

I love Popeye's Chicken and Biscuit. I have been employed there for 2 years. I know the food is fresh and that it is my personal goal as well as management to provide quick, kind and accurate service. Management does care about what you have to say and will be dealt with accordingly. Although I prefer reviews to be good, I am aware that bad news travels faster than good news. Ive very sad that I bought the 8 piece dark 4 peppers and 1 large potatoes and gravy. When I got home I recieve the chicken no peppers and a container of gravy no potates now with that being said that makes for some expensive chicken since thats all I basicly got for my order and not living in town so not handy to drive 30 mins back. I tried 4 times to call the store and no answer. once I got an answer machine and left a message. sadly the recording didnt say it was popeyes so who knows who gets the mesage.

Popeyes chicken at 2903 clarke ave cleveland ohio , Came to the counter to order and the lady said just a minute ,while i waited for 10 minutes i watched her and another employee deal with another man across the counter selling Cds , so thats the last time i deal with popeyes chicken ,they have lost a loyal customer. I called popeyes to contact my sister and inform her that her child was sick the general manger told me that i wouldnt be able to speak with her because it was lunch time i completely understood the fact that it was busy but this was an emergany and i told her that she hung the phone up in my ear i called back and she took the phone off the hook i went to the popeyes (hampton blvd location in norfolk va)and she still did not understand the ergancy of the situation she just told me she does not answer the phone during lunch period she does not care who it is calling even if its her boss she does not care her name is donyale and wat makes it so bad is that she is the general manager

The reason I'm giving you a 3 instead of a 5 is because of your 2 piece for 2.99 deal. Its bogus. No where does it say you can't get 2 breasts. Maybe you should specify this on your flyers and in stores. You should fix that.

Popeye's Drive thru #2962 Universal City Tx Employee refused to identify herself after I drove up to the pay window and after told her she was rude. She did reply to another nearby employee "he says I was rude" they both broke out in laughter.My reply was "I did'nt want to report your rudeness to your manager,but since you think it's funny, and decided to share this incident with your fellow employees, maybe I should" she replied "I am the manager". I then said she was the example subordinates were following and why her subordinates thought it was funny. After receiving my order I again asked "Are you really the manager?", she replied "no". This attitude is so revealing but it simply reflects Popeye management and management's failure. Sales ticket reveals CHERAE 3949 19:45 #11 AUG.21'10 This ONE attitude and rudeness will be extremely difficult to forget. I also doubt management will address this practise but it may very well be par for the popeye course.
