Anyone else had issues with Polaroid VHS tapes attempting to remove the tape from the sleeve WITHOUT absolutely tearing the entire thing off to get at it? It is NOT possible, I tell you. I ordered a bunch from Global Brands US, Inc. (www.globalbrands.net)a distributor for their VHS tapes, just a few have been ok, but the majority are a pain! The last one I was so angry about, it dumped the torn up cardboard sleeve in an envelope and sent it to Global Brands explaining what a piece of crap these sleeves are. Have not heard anything, probably won't. Then last night, tried to open another new tape, same thing, would not sleeve would not slide from the the cartridge. So, I thought, hey, I'm just going to leave it and send to Polaroid Corp. and ask them if THEY could remove THEIR sleeve without tearing it off! They WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO IT. Period. However, after reading all the negative comments here, I just don't know if it is worth the hassle. Dudes, that company is headed for down the tubes in my opinion with the crap like they are pulling with us all....word gets around don't you know....and I am ONE that will shout it to the mountain tops when a product/service is no good. I would speculate that they have a bunch of Harvard Educated Advanced Degree people Majoring in Stupidity!! Have a good day! Oh, if anyone has had the same experience as I with these VHS sleeves, I'd love to hear from you at darrenellis46@yahoo.com -- Thank You....and lots of luck with your issues as well!

I am at a loss to explain how Polaroid has sunk so low as to offer such crummy service. I will NEVER buy anything from Polaroid. I think they have turned into a cheap ripoff scam outfit that uses the good name of Polaroid in order to peddle junk hardware. Buyers beware! Buyers beware! Stay away from this outfit, no better than the Wall Street bozos that wrecked our economy.
11/8/2010 I sent back a defective; t1035 camera on 7/20/2010 and started calling about the status of camera on 7/29/10 and each time was told by Mark that indeed the camera was defective and I would be sent a replacement camera and as of today I have not received my camera. I was also told by Mark that he did not know when I would receive it because it might be held up in customs...I would like my camera or at least send back the defective one and maybe I can get it repair locally...My e-mail address is (donottalktilwalk@yahoo.com)..Please, please respond.Thank you. Ethel Thornton
I have just made up my mind never to buy anything Polaroid. Your Customer Service is non existent. You have no way to contact you. You put up a phone # but it is not operational or it is busy. I was only trying to contact you to find an authorized dealer for a P100C Card Printer for a customer who asked us to service it. Thanks for horrible customer relations and product support.
I bought a 37" Polaroid in 2006. Yes, the extended warranty expired. I recently started having trouble turning it on. I tried unplugging and plugging it and that worked for a few days. I called customer service and I was told the control box was going out and I could purchase another one for $245.00 and I would be re-imbursed $100.00 when the old one was returned. I orderd one and when I installed it, it didn't work. I called and I was told that it was the wrong control box and another one would be sent, but to return the other one. (I did at the cost of $14.00) When I received the new one it worked but there was an interference in the audio. I once again called Customer Support and was told it was a connection problem. I tried several times installing the control box with no success with the problem. I gave up and returned my original control box so that I can be re-imbursed $100.00. However, when I do get re-imbursed, I will still be out $145.00 plus the $28,00 I had to pay for shipping and I finally had to purchase a new TV. You are right I will never purchase another Polaroid product.
On February 20, 2009 I sent my 42" Polaroid television back to your Camarillo CA warehouse. Polaroid sent me the Fed Ex label to send it to Camarillo. Since this date, I have done everything to get my television back. I have never gotten it back. They say the warehouse is no longer there. Where is my television. I called every day for months during the summer of 2009. I have been calling (866)289-5160. My ticket # is 20090326-334625. I have the FedEx US airbill I can forward to you. Please, please have someone call me regarding my television. The television had a red line going down the center. I sent Polaroid pictures of the red line and they sent me the return label which was addressed to Polaroid Returns Center in Camarillo, CA. Today is August 24, 2010 and I still do not have my 42" television. Please have someone call me at (203)488-1244. Thank you, Anita Maculaitis, 177 Alps Road, Branford, CT 06405
I purchased a 32" LCD model no. TLX-03210B it started smoking. I turn it off. Date of purchased Nov. 2007.What can you do for me? Now i,m with out a T.V. and Wal-Mart no help. there where i purchase the T.V. I,M retired and can't affored to buy another T.V. my e-mail is ggrider@sbcglobal.net Home phone 713-433-8247
i had returned a hd widscreen model 1913-TDXB which is a 19 inch tv/dvd combo for another 19 inch tv which I paid 135 dollars for and this tv doesn't even work. I had to pay for the shipping for my original tv which there was nothing wrong with the picture, the dvd player stopped working after about 1 1/2yrs. Now they are telling me that i have to pay for shipping again for a broken tv they sent to me not even compariable to the one i origianlly shipped to get a tv with a working dvd player. This is a terrible way to treat a customer and told me to contact coporate headquaters for the matter now. I don't think I should pay to ship this tv out, this should've been the same tv model I had shipped out originally and at least get a working one at that. I am asking for a shipping label to be emailed to me so i can ship this one back to the warhouse and maybe get the right model that i had before, or at least a tv that works. i waited 3 weeks for a broken tv to get to me ( I shipped it and they recieved it on june 15th and today is july 5th). thank you. I purchased your 32" LCD flat panel on 02/06/2008. On 06/26/2010 it started smoking and almost caught fire. Luckily, someone was home to disconnect the power from it. I have found several of the same complaints on the internet and have determined that all Polaroid products are unsafe and are fire hazards. Is this the image you want the world to see? Are you willing to correct this problem and give a refund to those of us who have this problem with your products? If I cannot contact you by phone and resolve this issue then I'm not going to play your little game, I will contact the BBB, CPSC, FTC, and every news cast I can contact in the United States and will even consider a letter to President Obama. When you decided to take my money ($613.41)in exchange for your junk then that's when you screwed up, since I am a Disabled Veteran and a single father of three who just wants to give my kids something good in life and really could not afford this TV.
I bought a Polaroid TV - 37" LCD model #FLM-373B which went out after 3 years and two months - which would have made the extended warranty null and void. I called the Tech Department and they said it was my control box - I spent $250.00 on a new control box and when I send in the old part I will recieve a hundred dollars back. We got the part and installed it - the control box works but we don't have video or audio. One of your tech's told us that the control box is faultly and that we should send it back for a new one - at our expense. I wanted the shipping cost covered because Polaroid is the one that sent us the faulty part. I was told that a supervisor would call me between 24 and 48 hours - no call yet and it has been a week. I now called back and talked to a different tech and he told me that the control box is fine that it's the LCD screen that is broke. That will cost $520.00 plus $100.00 shipping to repair. So now I'm stuck with a part that I don't need and I'm out $150.00 of my money for a TV that was only 3 years old - is there any way that this problem can be rectified? Would you be willing to buy back the part - you can use it but it isn't any use to me.
I have been trying to get a part for my television Part # LCD-2000 since December 2009 from your parts dept their phone is 1-866-289-5168. I was told today this part is no longer available!!
