Asked for low sodium food because of real bad bloodpresser and they said I could eat it. Watch out, you really can't. I almost had a stroke. When I called them they say everybody is different. Wow,nice way to treat your customer. They could have sent me out 28 days of dinners, since I paid so much money. Just looking out for your customer. Will never make this mistake again and will tell everyone I know to be where.

Great Response to a Bad Situation

My bank was charged for an extra order that was not placed. I called and spoke to Burnadette. She immediately got on it and straightened it out, the money being returned to my account. It was Friday evening and I had no way to verify until Monday morning. Monday I called Corporate Office and I was told Burnadette returned the money, and sent the bank a letter. They handled the situation with speed, grace and courtesy, They just need better billing options and salespeople without commissions.

14 day guarantee is NO joke

Placed my order on 6/15/13 and didn't receive it till 6/21/13 in the afternoon as I was heading out to work. Tried plan for 14 days and was not satisfied with how product made me feel. Tried to call Nurtisystem very next day, but customer service closed on weekends! Had to wait till today 7/8/13. Was told I did not fall within the 14 Day window. That I should have called Friday!! So I guess by their explanation, I should have started the plan Friday afternoon, which was impossible. I lost that whole day because of the shipment time I received it. Then because their customer service is not opened on weekends I had no way to get ahold of them. I was told I should have called on that 14th day. So buyers beware. If you receive your shipment on a Friday afternoon, make sure you start program at once!! And do not wait more than a minute longer to call and cancel. The company will not listen to you when you try and explain. 14 DAYS, not a minute longer!!! So I have only 1 option, return unused food and pay the shipping charges. They will credit me with food I return. I'll post again to let everyone know, If that happens. Expensive lesson to be learned and you can't always trust these companies based on who they have promoting them.. It's all about the money, not your satisfaction. AT

Insulting customer service

I called to cancel my program a month ago and was told they were sorry t did 't work etc. now a month later I got an email they are shipping my order...I called to cancel and explain I had cancelled the entire program and they said that I had spoken to the wrong person and they couldn't cancel me....SOOO now they tell me they want $82.00 to cancel and spoke to me insultingly as well. Not going to let this go....if he had been courteous it wouldn't have me so angry but he was very rude and demeaning so I will not let it go. NOT A COMPANY TO GET INVOLVED WITH,,,,

Double Charged My Credit Card

I delayed my shipment and when it was time for it to be shipped, they charged me twice and shipped double the amount of food. They then refused to refund me. The customer service is poor, and full of uneducated, poor mannered robots reading scripts. They provide no service at all. The frozen food is okay, comparable to lean cuisine really but better ration or carbs to protein and less fat. The ready to go portions however are like astronaut food. The service sealed the deal though. I wont be back. I filed a claim with my credit card company, they instantly credited during the investigation.

I have tried to deal with this company for over 9 months - contacting Lynne Schmidt - corporate customer relations representative - they continued to ship to an old address (from over a year ago). I am informed that my "profile" has the old address although my "account" from Nutrisystem.com had my updated address - and has had since June 2012. Calls and e-mail go unanswered. This corporation is terrible!!

I was extremely unhappy with the product, the food is tasteless, extremely salty, and just stuff I wouldn't feed to my dog. When I asked for a refund because I threw away 80% of the food because I couldn't even eat it they charged me a cancellation fee!!! Is this how you charge your customers?? This was such a waste of money.

Customer service

Nutrisystem has horrible customer service, they sent an order through when my account was supposed to be cancled, this made my account go negative. They said they would pay the overdraft fees that THEY CAUSED, then said they dont pay overdraft fees and i have to pay the 100 dollars worth of fees they caused. They are horrible.

I was constructively denied the 14 day risk-free guarantee when I called on day 13, May 10, 2012, of using Nutrisystem. On May 10, 2012, multiple representatives refused to cancel my service and, despite my growing health concerns resulting from my consumption of Nutrisystem products, Nutrisystem counselors insisted that I continue using the product and refused to cancel my service with Nutrisystem. After seeking advice from my medical doctor, I discontinued the program; and after two weeks, I am now healthy and back to normal. I called yesterday to again pursue a refund under the 14 day risk free guarantee, but now I am told I cannot seek a full refund because it is now outside the 14 day window, even though I called during that period to cancel and was constructively denied cancellation by Nutrisystem representatives. The actions of Nutrisystem are not only outrageous but also a violation of the Washington State Consumer Protection Act under RCW 19.86. In the event that I am denied the full refund that I am entitled to per the 14 day risk-free guarantee, I am fully prepared to pursue my claim against Nutrisystem.

I have been trying for 1 year to cancel my membership due to my husband being unemployed. I was told that if I canceled they would charge me $52, which may not seem like a lot but if you have little money & you need to pay your bills $52.00 is a lot. I was told today that I will be charged the $52 for canceling or I will be charged for an order; unfortunately, they have my debit card # and I explained if they charged me either amount I would be getting overdraft fees, their response, "sorry but you committed and it's not our fault your husband is unemployed". I was with NS a few years ago, I guess this is the thanks I get for being a return customer. I have been getting the run around from everyone at their corporate office - don't bother to contact their customer service dept, not real nice people and their job is to upsell upsell upsell! Just wanted to put this out there for others. Thank you

Extremely poor customer service and food. Do not trust cancellation confirmation I can only receive verbally, of automatic shipments/charges on my credit card and tried to confirm by sending them an offical email, as suggested by my bank. Reps gave bogus email address and cannot trust fax number either. Wasting my time and patience. Absolutely disgusting company!

I was lied to. I was told when I cancel my order as long as I was not excepting the products from the deliver guys I would not be charged shipping. Shipping was deducted out of the money which was charged to my credit card. I believ a man, woman or company word should be their bond. If the costumer service reps are not being honest how can we as a people trust their company or products. Also when I order my products the adviertisement was double so I had to go on the chat line to get instruction on how to order my meals but I was not informed my credit card would be charged monthly are without warning. I thought it was a month by month basis. I am dissapointed in how they showcase their products and take care of their customers.

Nutrasystems should open a restaurant in different areas so people can go out to eat their food. The restaurant can also offer take out if someone wants to buy for the week. I am from Greenwich, Ct and think this would go over well in that Town and probably other areas in this vacinity. Many people do not like ordering frozen food and this would solve any problems about ordering by mail.

Customer service representatives very nice, but ineffective in resolving frozen food items shipments. I have gone back and forth with them over the past several weeks to get my frozen food order from Schawn's and have not received order yet. Each time I call they put me on hold and say they are contacting Schawn's, then come back on the phone and tell me they have talked to a representative at Schawn's and then give me a date for delivery, but nothing yet. Then when I call to CANCEL my order altogether today, yes, another call to Schawn's. No, I won't be trying Nutrisystem again. They should be dealing with Schawn's, not me! I feel they left me out in the cold to solve the situation myself. But they sure had no problem charing my credit card.

Knowing about the untruths Marie Osmand told about her two ex-husbands in court to get custody of her kids and knowing they were completely false please explain to me how I can believe any statement she may make about Nutrisystems she has a reputation of being less than truthful, being a Morman has nothing to do with how honest she may or not be, her track records proves she cannot be honest, likewise I cannot believe one word of her statements she make about Nutrisystems! Likewise, I will do my business with a firm that is honest, very honest! Sorry Nutrisystems your spokespersons are not!

Nutrisystem has double charged me for orders, shipped orders to Texas (I live in Idaho), and wasted more than 20 hours of my time. I am not having to go through the difficulty of asking my bank to recoup illegal charges Nutrisystem made against my credit card. The company has inconsistent customer service, poorly educated staff, and little respect for the law. I would advise people NOT to ever give their credit card number to this company!

I have a review for you. What marketing or advertising agency thought it would be a good idea to put a woman on television representing your copany who says, "If you're over 50 and you haven't lost weight there is no hope for you." What part of that statement inspires women over 50 to lose weight? Or perhaps they shouldn't, maybe they should just give up life, after all there is no hope. If I ever thought of ordering NutriSystems it's over, absolutely not, no way. That statement which by the way airs over and over again is not an inspirational message and it is a damn lie. By the way, yes, I am a good-looking black woman over 60 who thought about going with your cmpany however, I would never, ever consider your product. sdaniels@ci.glendale.ca.us
