Nice hatchet job Andrea Mitchell did on Romney speech. It was plainly edited. Bitch!
How sad - and shortsighted of you. I wonder if your mothers, fathers, and other "older" relatives are as offended as are the rest of us "older people." That you discount Harry's Law's faithful fans based upon the demographic of those people proves yet again that God is $Green$. Unfortunately so many people bow to the all mighty dollar. NBC execs are no different. More's the pity. Here is how a loyal David E. Kelley fan sees this...NBC is guilty of pandering to numb-from-the-neck-up people. Kelley presented thought-provoking, provocative, stimulating issues in his shows. We fans are often prompted to question our own views. This is called GROWING. We may change our point of view(s). We may not. But Kelley shows have always helped me to see a given issue from the other side. Those of us who actually enjoy using our brain cells welcome such opportunities. I am ever-so-hopeful that one of the other networks will realize what you do not - we old folks have & spend money! We also don't become preoccupied with video games or texting or tweeting non-stop. We enjoy relaxing while watching GOOD television. So - while what fans NBC has left are wondering "Where is the World is Matt Lauer?" I can tell tell you for certain where he will not be - on my television! Bye-bye! P.S. As for the "Your Rating" selections, 1 is the lowest option which left me no choice. To be honest, there is not a rating low enough to satisfy me!
The sing off was the best showcand u cancled it this is terrible
I am writting to let you know how unhappy I am with your network for cancelling "Harr's Law" you do not consider the fan base. You cater to the young people and leave all the junk shows on. Whatever happened to good commedy without adult content like Friends, Cheers, Family Ties, Golden Girls. I am 50 years old and am not old but remember the 80's with quality tv. Please bring baci Harry's Law. I am going to boycott your network and so will all my friends and family and relatives. These are reason's why I don't get interested in series because you yank the show off too soon or don't give it a chance. Greg Makarchuk
I am writing to address the situation of harry's law being cancelled not because of poor ratings, but because its demographic is "too old". I am beyond offended by this! I am 47 years old. I do not consider myself "old" and personally, I love the way that each week, you are looking at very current issues and ones that really make you think about what is going on in this country. If that makes me "old" then you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. You FINALLY have a program on that tackles vital issues and you cancel it. I for one know now why you are in 4th place in the ratings.
I just watched Person of Interest 5/10/2012. There were 2 songs sung, I caught the first one that stated in the lyrics, "Be scared America" several times. Then toward the end of the show, another song, with lyrics, "God is UnAmerican." My spelling may not be right on, but my understanding from this Network 'Is Right On.' This television network is blatantly offensive in it's UnAmerican activities.
ROSE PARADE COVERAGE SUCKED! CALVARY? In 60 years of watching the Rose Parade I have never seen such evidence of absolute and offensive illiteracy as when Robinson called the CAVALRY calvary! CAVALRY IS NOT CALVARY! Not only did she get it wrong, your screen placard got it wrong. Broadcasters are supposed to by law present the highest and most proper degree of reportage and programming. But attention to grammar and good speech are being thrown out the window. Most of your people speak like 1st grade redneck trash trying to use phonics to pronounce a word -- so we hear HO tel, IN surance, etc. Not only that but hardly any of your people can do contractions. You speak like mezcan illegals -- didunt, couldunt, wouldunt -- or di unt, coont, woont. You are teaching our children to speak bad english. Your license to broadcast should be challenged.
I watched the Christmas in Rockefeller Center show with my family. Aside from the naked promotional aspects of the show, touting other NBC shows, I had hoped it would be pleasant family viewing. Sad to say, I was sorely disappointed. While some performers were fine, the awful rap rendition of Little Drummer Boy was not only an insult to Christmas, it was unintelligible and ugly. It destroyed a lovely Christmas song. Then we got to be "entertained" by a 40 year-old half-dressed woman seductively dancing in a Santa costume to entice a teen-age boy. If this is NBC's idea of good family entertainment, I'm not impressed.
i would like to know why grim is only being played on nbchd and not on reg nbc, we have cox cable who says it is up to you how it is broadcasted so why do i have to pay for a hd box just to watch your show, all of the other shows on nbchd are on nbc why not grim
OMITTING UNDER GOD HUH?? WELL IM DONE WITH NBC,, FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NBC hates God. You've proved it, you bunch of sneaky God haters...and cOMCAST AND GENERAL ELECTRIC are all responsible with NBC. YOu are ALL too cowardly to go public and admit your evil ways. This will NOT go away. Your souls are in HEll and you are trying to take us ....no way you God haters. COWARDS
Dear NBC Executives: June 24, 2011 I have watched many shows produced by NBC over the years. I have always been a fair person in my life. When I watch certain shows whether from your network or others the nice thing is I have a choice on what to watch. I like watching different shows to hear the viewpoints to gain a certain perspective on what the show is about. Then I discuss these shows with others to get their perspective. The wonderful thing about this is it is nice to hear everyone involved their viewpoint. However, I must question NBC's decision to deliberately omit "UNDER GOD" in our own country's Pledge Of Allegiance. In my discussion with hundreds of people so far, nobody agrees with NBC. You can justify certain things or even overlook certain things on issues we face but this is crossing the line of the people of our nation who most do believe in God. So we are asking that NBC do the right thing in terms of a few things. 1. We want NBC to put out a massive media campaign to denounce what happened at your network regarding this situation. 2. We want the decision makers fired from their positions for doing such a disgusting thing. I and the many people I am involved with all agree that this is the fair thing to do. If we do not hear from NBC regarding this situation to fix this type of behavoir we will be forced to do a massive campaign to boycott NBC and all affiliates. This I promise you will affect your ratings. We are hundreds, turning into thousands and then millions of voices who will boycott. I ask in all fairness that you take the necessary steps to stops this nonsense before it escalates to hurt NBC and its affilliates. In reasoning you must take into account AMERICA was founded on principles of GOD. Your company NBC benefits in many ways from what GOD has blessed and bestowed on our nation. We are all its people here in America and you need to understand that most Americans are believers in GOD. To remove GOD you remove yourself. I ask again that you do the right thing and take the proper course of action. If you don't your company will suffer and you would agree nobody wants that. I am looking forward to the media blitz denouncing the NBC Executives who decided to do this by NBC. It's time to take responibility we are and we believe you will want to do the same. I appreciate your reading this and again look forward to NBC taking immediate action in putting this to rest fast for all involved which is the millions of viewers who have been disrespected as well as GOD himself. Sincerely, Rick Lowe
This time you really did it. By omitting "Under God" from the pledge of allegiance, you have shown your disrespect & disdain for our country, & for it's citizens. Therefore, our family has chosen to omit your network & all other affiliated channels, ie: msnbc, etc from our programming. I am also letting your sponsors know that I will not be buying their products and why. I have been disgusted with the poor quality of programming that you present, but have watched your Law & Order Series, and an occasional program that peaks my interest. No more. I am also going to contact PGA, & voice my displeasure with this action, & further inform them that we will no longer be watching their venues if they choose NBC as their medium for broadcasting. I am also informing the Olympic Committee the same, & urging all my friends & family to do the same. We love the Olympics & we watch many of the games both summer & winter. We always watch the opening & closing ceremonies, & record them so we all have the chance to watch them, regardless of work schedules. Should they choose to use NBC this year, we would rather miss the games entirely, than support a network that would blatantly disregard the thoughts and feelings of the majority of your audience, loyal, flag waving American Citizens. I'm proud to be an American and a Christian, both are my God given rights under the constitution. GOD bless America.
I have been a long-time viewer of NBC Today and Date Line programs, and various sports programs until now! What your network has done during the US OPen Golf Program in regards the the Pledge of Allegiance is un-American period. You have taken a value that has benn instilled in every natural born American and slapped us in the face on both sides. I will never again watch any program on NBC or knowingly buy any products advertised on NBC for as long as I live. I hope that you take full responsibility for your actions and correct a bad decision made. I really do not expect to hear back from your Newwork since your views are so skewed. Terry Williams
I have watched NBC for more than 50 years, but that stopped last Fathers Day. It is uubeiliveable to me that you would modify the Pledge of Allegiance by ommitting "Under God". What is wrong with you. You have disrespected every American, and every American that ever served in the United States armed services. US military members have fought and died showing their allegiance to the United States and God. Not only will I no longer watch NBC or its affiliates, but I wiil contact all the sponsors and let them know that I will no longer support them, if they continue to support NBC. NBC: No Body Cares
What you did before the US Open clearly demonstrates your hate of America. Saying sorry means nothing because every Sr. member of NBC knew exactly what was going to happen so saying I'm Sorry after the fact is lame and what many of us expect from NBC/GE. I am looking for your complete list of sponsor so I can stop supporting them. So far I have chevrolet, kibbles and bits (del monte), tylenol, folgers, revlon, & pet armor.
After this weekends omission of "Under GOD" in the Plede of Alligence, our family has choosen to edit NBC from our television viewing.
Disappointment does not come close to expressing my dissatisfaction with your coverage of the US Open Golf Tournament, Sunday, (Fathers Day), June 19th. Your "opening piece" featuring young children of the United States of America reciting the "Pledge of Allegiance" OMITTING the phrase "Under God", was noted and NOT APPRECIATED by this American Citizen. Understand clearly, that if you were the last network on the planet, I would never watch your shows again. Your politics and ridiculous liberal leanings are not appreciated by me. You should all be ashamed. I trust you "get" the fact that you have just alienated a huge swath of your viewing public. This is one ex-viewer that will be sure others know of your amendment to the Pledge of Allegiance, including the formerly respected United States (what a joke) Golf Association. I hope all your advertising sponsors hear this comment loud and clear as well.
I will not watch 30 Rock anymore because of the hatred in Tracy Morgan's public statements about what he would do to his child if the child were gay. The man makes me sick to my stomach and I cannot even watch him now on a wonderful show like 30 Rock. It is too bad that this man thinks that cutting-edge comedy is based on violence and hatred. Having him on your show is like having Idi Amin or Adolf Hitler as one or your stars.
I have watched nbc forever. Even through the Catie Curik era, but when I heard what Matt is GIVEN for a salary, I just could not stomach watching anymore! Ann's leaving willbring you under. A 70 yeat old great grandmpther.
