My uncle passed away eariy this morning from lung cancer for many years he flagged thr nascar races his name was Marion Johnson.he aways talked of his years at the races.just wanted you guys know of his passing.

If it is true that NASCAR is "America's Sport", I would like to know why can't we buy NASCAR Merchandise that is "Made In America". I have been to races in Vegas, Phoenix and Talladega. When I shop for merchadise as soveniers, it is all made out of our country. Last shirt I bought in Phoenix was made in Honduras. Since we as Americans support racing, why can't the race teams and NASCAR support our economy and buy American Made Products. If in fact, with the number of items that are sold online, in stores or at the races, how many jobs could we produce and how many more fans could afford to go to the races. Please voice you comments to NASCAR anyway you can. Maybe we can all change this!

The point system still confuses me, for it still looks like the most points still gets the championship rating. I think you should eleviate the points system favoring championship. Use it only for tied purposes. For the championship use only those that win the most races. For example, if a driver wins more races than any other driver, he IS the champion. Then take the next amount of wins and he places 2nd etc. If there are two driver getting the same amount of wins, then use the points system to decide who gets the winning position. You people remind me of our illustrious govenment. If there is a hard way of doing something, that is the way you do it. I have been a stockcar and modified racing fan for about 40 years now and I am about to quite watching. Also, these 400 and 500 mile races are nothing but Sunday cruses until the last 50 or so laps. Maybe a serious fine, anger management, missing a few races next season, a rooke stripe, and probation for a least a year. PLEASE BAN KYLE BUSCH FOR LIFE!!! He is a sore loser as shown for many years. He is a bad example of how a famous sports figure should act. You guys at corporate don't want people to that have used drugs but someone can act like a spoiled little rich BRAT! and you slap him on the hand and give more television time to him (THE NETWORKS).If someone uses drugs or liquor you suspend him because of the danger to the other drivers,crewmembers or spectators but someone that has no excuse to act like an IDIOT other than the fact that he didn't like the way someone was racing him. He is worse than someone that is impaired because of a substance.He is impaired because he cannot control his temper and use the thing on his shoulders ( NOT REAL SURE THERE IS A BRAIN IN THERE). Is he really worth the trouble its just a race. If somthing serious doesn't happen to him I am not sure I want to be a fan of this sport anymore. NASCAR just parked Kyle Busch for the weekend after an incident last night during the truck race in Texas, He did it in his own company equipment, not JGR's. You want to tell everyone 'Boys have at it', but after you allowed Brian Vickers to attempt several times to wreck the 17 car and not park him, what's the difference??? Yes, the 33 truck drives for KHI (a soon to be closed shop) and Harvick & Busch have had incidents this year, but why now??? Good luck on the ratings this weekend...you've lost a fan for at least this weekend...maybe more!

I have never seen a sport where you punish the leader. When there is less than 10 laps left and there are cautions the leader should be allowed to keep his lead that he has built up. Show me one sport where the leader is punished. It makes no sense.

I have a better idea for the starting positions when qualifying is rained out, that I believe is more fair. Why not line them up by their respective finishing positions from the previous race. This would not favor the points leaders, especially those who are points racing, and not trying to win. I for one would really like this system a lot more, and feel it would be more fair, and maybe give some of these guys an incentive to race harder at each event.

I would like to thanks NASCAR for making commercials, interviews with Dale Jr. Dale is the heart of NASCAR and keeps the beat of its fans. Us FANS would love to see more media like they are doing. GREAT JOB SPEED Channel and NASCAR!!!

Its pretty bad that its finally come out that NASCAR helps certain teams to win races. This has been going on for years according to some drivers of the sport. Its getting just like boxing, you all are fixing the outcome of the races. SHAME ON YOU. You've done everything in your power to make sure that its no more exciting, you put restrictor plates on, changed the way cars look, and taken it out of the hands of good drivers. It all about the money anymore and you wonder why your losing fans. Its not even as safe as before because when you slow them down your going to have more bad wrecks or even worse. The point system sucks, and needs to be changed also back to way it was and everyone should qualify and not rely on wheather they are in top 35 or not.

This has to do with short track racing, Columbus Motor Speedway Sept.10, 2011 race in compacts, there was a wreck in the front with the 14 car and everybody checked up so the 12 car hit the 99 car which was in running 2 for points with the 95 car which was on the tail, the 12 car which is brother with 95 car when they checked up 12 car got into the 99 car and spined out the 99 when this happen 99 own teammate the 6 car hit him and did most damage to 99 car then went up and hit the 12 car if the 6 car would have tried to avoid his teammate and 12 car they all cound have started race.Instead they want to say the 12 car did this intentionally so his brother could win. The night this happened columbus motor speedway officals didn't see it that way. But now after a week and listen to grown adults cry about this they have made a different decision.Now points won't be resolved until main event which has nothing to do with Columbus it is sponsored by another..The 95 can not touch or wreck the 99 car and teammates or he is striped of his points and title of track champion, the 95 car has been leading the points for over the last 10 weeks or more..I think Nascar should step in and have a look at this and make some decisions and need to visit that track without bein announced..This is why alot of drivers have left because officials have their picks and Columbus just overlooks...

After watching the Childress teams cheat to win the race last week by haveing Menard spin out was just awful. How could Nascar let this team cheat on this day of rememberance of the fallen people from the 911 disaster. Is Nascar trying to tell our kids that you can win by cheating? What a discrace to the sport by doing this. Is Mike Helton still alive or was he sleeping and don't care about honesty and dignety anymore. What a slap in the face to all of us who play fair and don't cheat!!!

My friends & I have been watching Nascar for years, going to several races at Daytona. It is getting increasingly frustrating to watch races with cars changing car colors almost weekly. It is hard to spot your favorite(s). The annoucers will say that so&so there is having trouble or doing good, or say car 29 is gaining in the pack, all the while showing several small cars running, to far away to pick up the car's number or pick out the cars by color. We suggest that Nascar make cars pick a color scheme at the beginning of the race season & stay with it for at least that season. At least it would help picking out your car in the pack, & the annoucer could say that 'red' car there. Also, tho difficult, it would make spotting cars easier if they were more of all one color, there are many basic colors to use from that spectrum. Again making it easier for the fan to be pointed to a car. Also it would be nice if each team used the same color scheme on all of that teams cars, so the fan could pick out which teammate was helping out the other. We have talked with people who try to watch a race but have no idea which car the announcers are referring to, to many times, & quit watching. We are getting tired of it also & are watching less & less. And you wonder why fans are down.

Kyle busch is allowed to race after what he has done off the track? NASCAR you shouldn't let him do that. When will you stop it after he kills someone. 146mph in a 45mph. Really

Would just like to pass on an idea about qualifying for Chase races. My opinion it would draw more fans if the Chase drivers started at the rear of the field. The fastest qualifying Chase driver would start 30th with the slowest Chase qualifier 42nd. This way the Chase drivers would be racing each other to start the race then have also come up through the rest of the field. These drivers are the best of the best make them prove it.
