Absolutely the worst officiating I have seen in many years, many years! Terrible! For both teams in any game. At least the refs are consistently bad! The officials job is to be fair to both teams and try and make the calls the same throughout games. Oh no, not NBA officials. INCONSISTENT! That's the theme for NBA games. Sorry to say that's it's very frustrating and very difficult to continue watching these hellacious guys working these games. You can see the frustrations the players have. Listen to Rajon Rondo at halftime last night. He didn't say that to psych-up the Heat players. He said that because the officiating is so bad. It's so sad that this once-great professional basketball league has gone into the dumper. I've been around for awhile and while Mendy Rudolph, Syd Borgia, Earl Strom and some others weren't perfect, they were so, so much better than what we have today. I think the NBA head of officials needs to show film of the ole' days to the current staff. Better yet, get rid of the current staff and start over again. I must say that I'm very glad I am not paying for tickets to these playoffs. Just one question, what was up with the ref's last night, regarding the Celtic-Heat match-up? I am far from a NBA expert, but boy, was that that all about? Playoff's a bit "deflated" for me. As an FYI, not really "cheering" for either team; however, if I am expected to watch the game I do want to see something a bit more fair.

The NBA is really bad. The officials are killing the game. Bad calls or calls that are not made. How can RON ARTEST knock two people down, close line them both and then gets foul shots. More people should write about the referees. A boycott of the game should be in order. If we stop watching things will change.

Get your referees to stop allowing the "stars" to get all the calls. Get your league together and start playing basketball!

Here we go again with NBA-TV taking an NBA game in house that a lot of people won't see. The Boston Celtics at Atlanta Hawks game Is there a reason why it won't be seen on the channels that I usually watch during the playoffs. That being TNT, ESPN and ABC. I am from Massachusetts down here in Florida vacationing. It would be interestingto see what the overnight ratings are for NBA-TV as opposed to network stations. One other situation comes to mind the NBA referees. They act God Almighty on the court. They are waiting for a player or coach to make a comment about a play then are told to shut up. Try reading the lips of these referees. You might think about calling them on the carpet and giving them suspensions and losing a nights pay. Of course you have the NBA referees union. You can't talk to our loyal officials that way. Bad officiating somes too be happening in all the major sports in this country be it college or professional.

Today's game that Miami vs New York Knicks that miami got more free throw then te knick because they all helping Miami team to win even when Miami have foul they still count it that the Knicks have a foul that's why Miami have too much point you should do something to it or else I have to go up and talk to their head coach

I think it is a BAD practice for the NBA to give out "Free' tickets to elected Officials, and not place conditions on the tickets. The best example is the upcoming All-Star game in Orlando, where the NBA has given at least 48 tickets to Elected Officials who will NOT release those tickets to anyone but themselves. They are using the Flimsy excuse that they are "working" that day, so they have to go and represent........Buffalo Chips!! I have asked them many time in the past 3 weeks to give some or all of those tickets to some of our young Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. They are the People's True All-Stars! They could use this opportunity to have a brief moment away from the Pain and Trauma they go thru everyday trying to Heal from their ordeal. The NBA has contributed to the Arrogance of Politicians, and the alienation of the People by giving these tickets to People who care only about themselves......Bad practice,....NBA!!!

Hey guys, dont blame any of the owners. I doubt they want to get sued for 60 million dollars by each player. Its the greedy players who, instead of taking their "measly," 20 million dollar salaries, they decide to go against the owners and sue. Hell, I know if I were in the nba, I would be playing for free, and working a side job at taco bell, making minimum wage, as long as I got to live my childhood dream. You know, I used to admire these guys, think that some of them actually cared about their jobs, but hey, if their only making 20 million a year, then what's the point.

Well the lockout is here, and unlike the recent NFL lockout we aren't hearing much about it in popular news like ESPN and sportscenter. We just finished one of the most intriguing and controversial seasons in NBA history. We watched the biggest free agent signing in the history of sports. And we watched the Miami Heat become the most heavily scrutinized and covered team ever. All this happening they fell short to Dallas in the NBA Finals. Meanwhile teams like Chicago and Oklahoma City showed up everyone, and revealed they could be possible future powerhouses of the league. Also teams like Sacramento fight to keep their dream alive, while other teams try to figure out how to keep up with teams like Miami who formed their own all-star team. With all this going on it is very exciting to see what the next crop of big name free agents will do, or where they will go. In conclusion the league is going through many transitions and it is almost like a never ending story that will continue even after we are gone. Basically this lockout is like showing a great new episode on TV that ends "to be continued"...but instead of assuring viewers they will see the dramatic finish next week, you hold it back and tell them nothing leaving them to wonder when or even if they will ever see new content. Doing something like this would cause many viewers to lose interest in time, while some may wait, the fan base could be permanently compromised. Please don't take basketball away from us, and please don't let our beloved athletes sit at home or go overseas when we should be watching NBA games here at home.

Tell the owners to stop being selfish and look for the fans. Some of us dont even care if our teams are not good, in the end we just wanna watch some basketball. This is going to wreck the whole year for most of us because of these greedy owners. Please try to help think of a solution as fast as possible.

Once again we are faced with this same mess that MLB pulled and they suffered badly from lack of attendance. Please don't take the fans for granted owners we may not be there when you come back, WE PROMISE, Settle and settle NOW.
