I went to your Appleton location on Sunday and bought a mop and new work sneakers for my husband. As we checked out the computer system in check out 5 crashed and they had to reboot. The manager I believe came over and checked the back to make sure our bank card did not go through .They re swiped it and claimed it was fine now.I got home and to the contrary it took out the total twice.I called the store and after being on hold was told they would call you today and clear this up.Total was $78.72 .The information on the receipt is 04/15/2012 09:58am 100 5 3 250.The cashier was Na T.I bought a pro mist mop, for $14.99 4178599684, men's shoes for $54.99 82370686246 , and unisex insoles $4.99 1101740607.The person I talked to when I called took down all the information.I am just following up because that is allot in this economy. I purchased a pair of shoes from Fleet Farm in Manitowoc in December 2011-The brand name was WalkMaster-I work part itme at a local Harware store and after little inside wear the inserted custion in both shoes came loose and fell out leaving a hole in the heel-I am not looking for a refund I only wish to indicated to the buyer of shoes for FF that this brand of shoes is not up to Fleet Farm standards. Hopeing someone will read this and is aware of this problem. Thanks
My husband and I purchased a Huskavarna leaf blower this past weekend at Fleet in Appleton and it didn't work when we got it home so yesterday I had went to Fleet Farm in Appleton to exchange the blower and was told I couldn't return the blower nor get my money back. They did say they would send it out for repair and I had said I didn't pay $160.00 for a refurbished leaf blower. I had asked them to try and start it then and if they got it to work I would take it back home and he said no. I was not told that this was the case when we bought the leaf blower nor was there any signs at all be the leaf blowers that said "NO RETURNS ONCE GAS IS PUT INTO THE GAS TANK" (I suppose they don't want to put a sign because I don't think that anyone would by one then, and the only way you are able to see if it works is to put the gas in.) The manager said that he wouldn't exchange and I told him I'm not leaving without a new blower or my money back. Well I got the new blower and got it home and it worked great. Just glad I didn't back down to something that is just not right. I will check back to see if any signs have been placed by the blowers and weed eaters educating there "CUSTOMERS" of the "NO RETURN POLICY"

I would give the Green Bay West Fleet Farm negative stars if I could. Their auto department is run by a group of very unprofessional people as well as managers. I went in to have a hole in my tire patched and they cracked my tire pressure sensor when taking it off the rim. They threw it back in the tire and never told me. I drove away to find that my "tire pressure sensor fault" light came on. I took it back and they admitted to cracking my sensor. They "replaced" it for free. The light came on once again and I took it to my local mechanic. The tire pressure sensor should have been held in by a band but they didn't want to spend the money on the band and decided to glue the sensor to the inside of my tire and proceeded to hold it in with zip ties. Not so surprisingly, this didn't last. The sensor is broken now (150 dollars) and I'm left with no band to hold it in either (50 dollars). I called and talked to the most unprofessional manager I have ever talked to in my life. He told me if the inside of the tire isn't chewed up my story isn't matching up. Mind you, the sensor is made of a plastic/rubber material and would bounce if you dropped it. They are a bunch of idiots.
I would give 0 stars but I can't. I will NEVER buy tires from Fleet Farm again. I replaced all four tires about a year and a half ago, one month ago a tire randomly went flat and they weren't able to fix it so I had to buy a new one, half of the cost was covered under warranty (I complained because I thought they should cover the full amount.) Anyways, they rotated all of the tires and now ONE MONTH later ANOTHER tire is flat - and they can't schedule to fix my tire for THREE DAYS! So now I'm again without a vehicle as the result of this company. I only drive my car locally and sometimes to IL, I've only put 25,000 miles on my car that I bought 4 years ago! Thank you so much Fleet Farm for your lack of customer service and you inferior product!
i live 30 miles from fleet farm in baxter been shopping there over 30 years last couple years you have been going down hill go to get item from flyer you are allways out ask agirl in hardware she said computer says 3 in back but probably not and walked awayanother time out of suit girl said talk to floor lady said she was aware of this gave me dirty look walked away
On 01-03-2012 I went to your Oshkosh stoe and among the things I purchased was a $21 shirt. I found that the shirt was too small and the next day I went back to exchange it for a larger size. I was told it could not be returned beause it had a small spots on it. Those spots were water drops from your drinking fountain. I left the shirt there because I knew in a few minutes they woud dry and the shirt would be alright. I really think this was totally wrong on the part of that store. David Malmgren
Mills Fleet Farm on Taylor street in Green Bay, WI. The auto "service" and I use the term lightly is inept, incompetant, and staffed by a group of morons who couldn't care less about a customer or their vehicle. I purchased four new tires on September 8th of 2011. With the warranty information they state FREE mount, balance, valve stem, lifetime balancing*, lifetime rotation, lifetime tire repair*. On November 8th I made an appointment to have the rotation and balance done. The time was for 4pm on November 9th. Since I had a 5:00 job related drive I arrived early, the vehicle sat in their parking lot until 4:25pm. At 4:45 the service manager came to the counter holding three lug nuts that their rookie trainee twisted off with his air wrench. They both laughed at me and said that the vehicle had 236,000 miles on it and these should have been replaced. The front wheel hubs and all the lug nuts were brand new, bought and installed in April of 2011. They put on four lug nuts that don't even fit the vehicle, are not the chrome plated type that are required and then they proceeded to slip the chrome cover onto their cheap replacements. During this cover up fiasco I had lost a $70 commission that I had another appointment for. On Nov 10th I drove to Stevens Point for a job, took highway 10 which is a smooth 4 lane road. The car vibrated bad because of out of balance tires. When I got to my destination I checked the wheels only to find that all the chrome covers that they tried to slip on had fallen off, my lug wrench will not fit on them now. Heaven forbid if I had a flat tire, I would not be able to change it. This vehicle might be high milage but it is maintained weekly since my job requires it. In September it went through a multi point state certified inspection without any problems. To have the jerks at Fleet Farm laugh at me and make comments about the milage is not only an insult to me but also is an indication of the personnel that they hire. I am sending reports of this incident to the Green Bay Better Business association and also Fleet Farm corporate headquarters along with copies of receipts for the lug nuts, hubs and other parts that they assumed were old.
Went through the "new" car wash in Plymouth WI today. Car wash damaged my pick-up, and worst of all I paid $10 for the worst car wash I have ever gotten, back of pick up still dirty, didn't take off bugs in the front, but it sure tore the hell out of my brush guard. I expect several hundred dollars damage. Don't waste your money on this-----I will never, ever take a vehicle there again. And, neither should you!
I just had the WORST auto experience EVER at Fleet Farm. I purchased four new tires with them a few weeks ago for my truck, and I have been back 3 times to fix a balancing problem. I have spoke to two different managers to try to fix the problem, and They told me that I have to keep comong back until the problem is fixed. Are the CRAZY!!! How many times do you think it takes before I realize you are completeley incompitent of fixing anything? They refused to reimburse me so that I could take it to a trusted mechanic...so now I am out another $60 to get the balancing done right. Fleet farm is a piece of SHIT!!! Most of you should be ashamed to even wear that flag on your sleeve with how terrible you treat people!!! I will never step foot in another Fleet Farm again. By the way...This was in Brooklyn Center, Mn.
I am trying to find a product called ORVUS HORSE PASTE THAT COMES IN A 7 pound jug made by Proctor and Gamble. People use this to wash their cows, horses etc. FYI: People clean rugs with this orvus horse paste and guess what silk painters and designers use it to wash silk before the use dyes on it and after they steam the silk for permanancy of the dyes. Why is this stuff so hard to find. the blaine mn store used to have it. Where is it and has it been discontinued?// no on seems to know... You can use it on your pets too. WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO GET AN ANSWER FROM ALL THE STORES...YOU PROBABLY WILL NEVER READ THIS...
PLEASE COME TO HARTFORD! If West Bend won't give u a new store LEAVE that City!! Soon Hartford will have a whole strip mall that could be converted into a state of the art Mills Fleet Farm with a great location. Sentry has already left and Kmart is leaving shortly. It's perfect for everyone!!
I have been shopping at Mills Fleet Farm here in Washington County WI since the 70's and have been quite happy with that whole experience. Good product, good service. Today I purchased the brand of jeans I have been buying for 20 or more years as well as a denim shirt which I also have been purchasing for years. Quality was good and sizes fit to where I simply 'trusted' this integrity was validated with the time involved. I got home with the clothing and noticed the shirt one of the snaps didn't work and another one was almost as bad not to mention the size was no where near what I had become accustomed to. Now for the denim jeans. I've been buying these for years as well and when I put them on they fit like shit. Narrow at the hip and long in the leg. Relaxed fit, plus the material was never so thin on both the shirt and jeans. Both products brand name was the one you folks sell under your label, Field n Forest. Buy, bye farm guy. Joe Cmeyla
I live very close to the MFF in Oakdale, {with in about a mile}, so I stop at the car wash often. More than once I have been cheated out of a wash because the auto wash malfunctions. Just fix those machines, the latest one was earlier this week when I received a load of soap dumped on my vehicle, that's all, just soap! So I had to go to the next bay to finish the wash. $20 for a wash. Just get those things working, please! Scott Hallanger
Hi Folks, Just want to thank Fleet Farm for all the shirts I recieved when taking my daughters to 4-h at the state fair in st. Paul. My girls were 12 and 13 and we recieved some fleet farm t shirts. My girls are in their late 20's now and I still wear those shirts everyday. Although they are beginning to get thin. I don't know what I will wear when thay are gone. It is a long drive to get to a fleet farm store from where we live. I suppose they will last another year though. Thanks for the great shirts. Judie
We had left an item on the bottom of our cart, only noticed it the next day when we got home. We called the store, they had found the item. The store is in Alexandria and we live in Albany over 40+ miles away. One of the managers there had a son that was going back to college (not sure where) and offered to have him drop off the item at the local Gas Station in Albany. Now that is what I call customer service!!!!!
Farm & Fleet HATES farmers. They are heavy supporters of WI Gov Scott Walker (and Republicans) who is taking away health care (Badgercare) from farmers, and decimating rural schools. 3/25/2011 they will be sponsoring a fundraiser for Walker in Janesville, WI. All farmers should stay away from this company. Boycotts are starting & store protests are being scheduled
Will you alow C/C in your stores???
WE went to the Appleton location and as the cashier swiped my card the computer crashed. The manager checked their computers in the back of the store and said it did not go through.I let them swipe again but it nagged at me that something was wrong.Sure enough I checked online and it went through twice.I called the Appleton store and was told they would call their cooperate office and call me when they got it taken care of on Monday.NO calls from anyone.I wound up calling the cooperate office myself and after getting transferred ..we know how that works..I got someone in accounting who said it would take a few days to correct..why a few days? I go to the grocery store they make a mistake it is taken care of immediately...I am so disgusted with Mills Fleet farm..I bet they are just taking a few days hoping I forget about it..no way am I..they better hurry themselves up or they will loose a customer and anyone else I know
