hello i took my truck to midas on 301 in crofton maryland to get my lower intake manofold gasket paid $700.00 picked truck up drove it 5 mins to my house on friday went out of town in my other vehicle monday drove to work in my truck heard a knocking noise from under the hood checked radiator no antifreeze filled with water drove home took back to shop they say there not responsable the truth was the machanic that did work named daniel never put filled radiator up after working on it i was told by them that now i need a new radiator because the exsiting one has a crack in it and there not resposable for the knock its making now but agreed that was not running that way when i brought it in the first time so all my friends and there frineds and family will never use there services again and will never refer any one to them like i did before.really disappointed :(

Went to the midas in the state of nj had brakes all the way around bought a new tire and had an oil change. Explained to them I was taking a Long trip for a relocation spent over 1600 for repairs well not even 3hours into my trip my rear passanger tire fell off all of the studs sheared off 400 dollars later we were back on the road and when I called the midas that did the repairs they tell me they are not responsible for the mishap and now for all the love of money I can't find a corporate office to file my complaints to so if anybody can help me I would surely appreciate the help my email add is www. went in to have an oil changed and was scammed for $1750.00 told I needed all new intake gaskets, new brakes, engine flush. Took to a PROFESSIONAL mechanic as my car still had low coolerant light and was told I had been scammed as my car did not need any of the things they did. Midas didn't even read bulletins from GM that told what my car was doing! I registered a complaint and it fell on closed ears and Midas NEVER responded. Had to register my complaint to Attorney Generals office, Police dept/fraud division, BBB, among a few places

so i paid for a oil change and tire rotation i got an oil change and no tire rotation. How do i know you ask because there was a slow air leak in the drivers side front tire before i went down there and guess what it is still in the same place. Kinda funny huh

I worked there for one day their payscale is a sham I am still waiting for a check one month after quitting almost time to call the labor board. These guys have no buisness trying to diagnosing check engine lights they don't even have manufacturer specific code scanners

Jesus. You people are such whiners. I do not work for Midas, nor have I ever done business with them, because I fix my own cars, like a man should. The bottom line is that if you can't fix your car yourself, you have to pay someone else to do it. The misconception that all auto repair shops and/or mechanics are "crooks" needs to go away. These people are doing jobs just like you. It's a job that usually requires many more hours than others just in order to make a base living wage. The mindset that all repair shops and mechanics are crooks stems from the customers' lack of knowledge about what is really going on. If you think you know better than the shop, then fix your own car. Otherwise, this is how business works. You need a service or product, and they need money to feed their families. Welcome to capitalism. Oh, and by the way, how can any of you expect your opinions to be taken seriously when you can barely speak/spell proper English? My $.02.

I have never seen such a way of doing business in all of my life. I use to be in insurance gig and also grew up in and out of body shops ( Father ). These guys (Dallas Midas) not only tried to charge me triple the cost of some parts but then had the stupitity to not put the OEM parts on the car that they cliamed were. WOW!!! no wonder schooling is so important. I never realized that people were this dumb in our work force prior to this weekend. America is in trouble!!! Theres nothing wrong with making a profit, however there's nobody behind the steering wheel of this giant corp. The car is turning any way it feels like it. I think its about time someone shuts them up. Like my attorney!!!! So, Kids, whats todays lesson? Stay in school so you don't end up having to steal for a living.

I work for a midas shop and honestly im thinking about going to a diffrent field because my manager is a crook every pay check i get im always missing a couple hours or a half hour because he clocks me in whenever he feels like i lets say i come in at 745 he will clock me in a 8 or 820 so he doesnt have to pay me i feel this is wrong and also he treats me and other employees like crap also i have been waiting for this employee booklet i was suppose to get explaining all of what my job entales and vacations time etc.. ive been waiting almost a year along with another employee again ithink their is somthing fishy about that. also the pay sucks i make minimum wage and i get 10% of every bill but i only get that after i make my boss 1600$ in sale then i ge my 10% so in oreder for me to make 500$ i have to do 4800$ worth of work for this man i dnt know about you but i cant live off that wage especially if the owkr isn't coming through the door. and further more my manager also over books us with appointments and we never leave work on time and i get skimped on over time pay or he clocks me out on time but i dnt leave till 7 when i when i should be leaving a 6 but this is almost everyday mind you i dunno if its me who sees the wrong in this i hope i have shedded some light on this company who has disgruntled me as an employee.so if anyone else has any more questions reply or if you can help me make my work enviorment better reply thank you to whom ever this helps ...

THEY OVER CHARGE FOR ALL SERVICES AND THEN THE OWNER LIES TO MIDAS CORPORATE ABOUT WORK THJAT HAS BEEN DONE AND WHEN THE CUSTOMER COME'S IN TO PAY THE BILL WITH CASH SHE CANCELLS THE TICKET OUT LIKE IT WAS AN ESTIMATE SO SHE DOES NOT HAVE TO PAY ROYALTIES TO YOU. JUST A FYI. THOUGHT SOMEBODY AT MIDAS CORPORATE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT ALL THE MONEY THEY ARE LOSING. theyve had my car all day for poor breaks. i asked the manager if he knew what the problem was. he said " well uh your break lines are above your bleeder valve." this leads me to beleave he nor anyone there has any idea what they are doing. they have put on 2 master cylenders which i dont think is the problem AT ALL. i just think they wanna stick me for $400. my mother has had problems with this same shop on her 71 corvette. she took it there because they claimed to be good with exhaust. when in reality she ended up paying them to mess up the origonal exhaust manifold on this classic car and they didnt even fix the problem. if they cant fix the breaks on my jeep in the 12 hours promised i will be making a call to corporate office, my local news station, the better business bureau, and will promtly make an anti-midas ad. on the worlds largest and most visited site. i am talking of course about facebook.com. and i feel so strongly about this i will have NO problem what so ever paying to endorse this ad. because i know i will get my money$ worth. thank you. if you wish to contact me do so at kaknbools@gmail.com if not ill call you>

I took my vehicle into the Charoltte Pike store in Nashville,Tn on a Tuesday for a check engine light that suppose to have been repair the week before when i original paid them to fix the problem a week later the same problem is back. Know it Thursday and my car has been in midas care for three days and i have not yet recived a phone call about my vechicle. John the reciptions has lyed on several occasions and Chris says he didnt know about the car until wenesday evening. What type of service are they providing? I would never deal with midas after this situation again.
