..do not go to the site on randall rd in elgin il.,.went in for brake grinding,took it all apart,had no clue,took my car for a "test ride"..the mechanic must of been doing 70 down randall,20 min later,i seen hiom pull back toward the shop,..but no,he still did not return,finally pulling in with all the windows rooled completely down,i demanded my keys,.and the car is worse now than before.

Rick asks there crew in fox Lake Merlin also ruined my car. And are completely screwing me over. Horrible place.

I was driving near the Merlin minivan vehicle in Fox Lake, IL. The drivers of the vehicle almost caused an accident twice by slamming on their brakes and causing the car behind them to collide into them. I called the phone number on the vehicle to let the Manger know what I saw. I spoke with Rick and he said to me, “you wasted your time”. If the mechanics at Merlin can’t drive how can they fix a car? They most likely can’t. Their customer service is also apparently inadequate since their manager Rick and managers don’t seem to care.

Very poor service at FOX LAKE IL had my truck all day had 3 guys at the end of day working on it, had it all DAY!!!!!! working on it and some young kid was red lining it. what joke. Stop in Morton Grove told me it was a crank sensor was going out the shop mechanic told me it was 90% when they red line my motor cause the sensor to go bad. Plus I told Goerge not to call Fox Lake and Home office. Will George call home Office and Fox Lake WHY He had Fox Lake on the phone what a joke I will never go to Merlins Home Office try to give me a 30.00 gift to get me off the phone it does not stop there 30.00 what a joke NEVER GO to Merlins

I went to the Merlin in Carpentersville. Do not go here. They did work without me authorizing it and completely misdiagnosed the problem, then expected me to pay them. I am working to get my money back now. Very unknowledgable and took advantage of me probably because I am a woman.

I visited Merlin in Country Club Hills IL. I never for one moment taught that a recgonised establishment could be so unprofessional. The attendent acted as though he owned the business, and did not give a damn about his customers. Vic as he called himself took matters into his own hands. I left my car with the assurance that I would be contacted before any work was started. I had not heard from merlin and when I contacted them, I was told that the work was completed, and I would not get my car until the $211 which I owed as a result was paid. The work order stated that a trans service was done which had nothing to do with the problem since I had a coolant leak. 3/4 weeks after my transmission started to make funny noises and the geers would not change, come to find out it was a result of them taking my transmission down. The work cost me $1388.00 to repair. I filed a claim through West Bend merlin's insurance company. There I spoke to a Ms. Ulik who was the rudest most obnoxious person I have ever come into contact with. I now have to follow up with the regulatory bodies who over see's this matter. I will

I just wanted to send a short note on the excellent and friendly service that we receive from the shop at: Merlin 200,000 Miles Shop 390 N. Eola Road (Corner of Eola & New York Street) Aurora, IL 60504 630-978-1499 The staff at this shop is outstanding. We always take our cars for oil changes and 6 months ago for a brake job. Last night I found a screw in my tire ( car was only 3 days old ). They quickly attended to it. I could not Thank them enough for the taking care of the problem. I will recommend them anytime. This is the best shop that I have ever been to. Fast, Very Expiernced and Friendly Service. Jena Wagner
