Voodoo fest 2013
Fest was great, but on the other hand, all the food vendors were very unhappy with the way they were treated, and alot of other things! Alot of us are locals and love this fest, we need to form a commity and resolve these problems! Could some one in charge please contact me about this!
Disappointing Concert
Last night I took my 13 year son to his first concert at Sleeptrain in Wheatland. Uncle Kracker, ZZ Top and KID ROCK. The music was great but we actually had to leave during Kid Rock's first song...why, the pot smoke was so bad that it was making my son feel sick. I know it was a rock concert and anything goes, but it was incredibly disappointing that we weren't able to enjoy ourselves because the company allows the use of marijuana at their venues. Unfortunately my son, who started out becoming a huge fan of concerts, does not want to attend anymore even though he was really loving the music and the "happy energy".

Discussion Thread Customer By Email 09/17/2012 12:33 PM Dear Ticketmaster : It is a fact that you received payment right away when my order was placed. Comes now, it is disbelief that after continued emails that you refuse to send my tickets. You had informed me that I would receive them on 9/15/12 and indeed did NOT. I will now forced to buy tickets elsewhere as it was important to receive them. There will be a suit started to recover damages for consumer fraud. You have left me no choice as you have recently ignored my emails. I went to see Lady Gaga in april and let me tell you it was absolutely the most amziang thing in my life. loved it. I went with my friend and we wanted to get dressed up so we wore dresses and heels. (we were sitting). I was surprised at how many people actually dressed up like lady gaga with the coke cans in the hair and the crime scene tape. I wouldn't wear heels to a concert again unless they were very comfortable and i would think twice about wearing a dress. i'd say a nice pair of jeans, comfortable shoes with a colorful top topped off with lady gaga inspired make-up. If you dress too plain trust me you will stand out, everybody goes all out and gets dressed up. You are very lucky i'd do anything to see Lady GaGa again xx
I was VERY disappointed with the lack of integrity within the company. I purchased a table on the floor with 6 seats to Jill Scott's summer block party on 8-19-11 and when I arrived I was ushered to the balcony! I was very upset and complained. But everyone had the same bad attitude and acted like they could care less. The manager at the box office tried to shush me away. I was told on 3 separate occasions on the phone that I had floor seats. I made it clear that I did not want to be in the balcony. They stuffed 6 of us in a space that was meant for 4 adults!!!! So two of my guest had to stand the entire show and security kept telling the sit down but there was no place to sit!! To make matter's worse they are refusing to give me back my funds for lying to me! And when I spoke to a manager on the phone I was lied to yet again twice by two different managers!! One's name is Barrett Justice. This event was soo overcrowded it was ridiculous!!! It was a huge fire hazard! I am never supporting another livenation event until they make this right! I go to A LOT of concert's but I have had enough of this crap! Everyone needs to contact the CEO Michael Rapino @ 310-867-7000 and complain!
I have been waiting 3 months for my VIP Motley Crue Merchandise. Fanfire Live Nations vendor refuses to take responsibility although when searching for contact information on Fanfire all you get is Live Nation. I want my VIP merchandise my concert is in 2.5 weeks! I am disgusted.
Live Nation is a greedy, ill managed corporation who has no vision for what makes a successful entity-the hard working, dedicated individuals who drive the sales. Never will I attend another concert and will relate that Live Nation is the ugliest, most loathsome representation of all that is abrupt and filthy. L Callahan
Hello, I bought U2 tickets a couple weeks back through tickets.com for the show @ Busch Stadium in St. Louis. I chose the mail option. Before I made my purchasing decision I looked at tickets.com faq and it said tickets are sent out 2 weeks after purchase. If I had known that tickets would not be mailed until after Jan. or that will call could not be picked up till April I would of had the tickets purchased at a ticket outlet. I am not sure if print your tickets option was available but if it was I would of done that too. I wanted to give these out as a gift to someone and now I got to wait for my tickets. This is just wrong, in my eyes. You have my money and what I purchased without telling the consumers what to expect in getting their tickets even when we try to make informed decisions on what approach we make in buying them. Waiting 2 months or actually maybe 5 months is just crazy. If this is your approach to prevent people selling tickets they buy in having to wait this long to get their tickets, then the least your company could of done was advertised this info on how long the wait for ticket arrival would be on the ordering page. Email me at j5mj@live.com if you LiveNation have any changes in changing this policy or can help me in getting my tickets earlier. I definitely don't think I am the only one complaining about this issue either because others are calling and wondering if their tickets got lost in the mail because we think the tickets should be mailed in a reasonable time frame after we useour money to make a purchase. And although both Ticketmaster & tickets.com advertise sending out tickets on their faq page two weeks after purchase they should of truly told us what to expect on the ordering page if it was going to be any different this time around when we make our decision making process. I am really ticked off on this matter and will begin soon my effort to do whatever possible in changing this false advertising that is being done by your tm & third party tickets.com site as well by your livenation on not mailing our purchase item in a reasonable manner. I will start off by contacting the BBB in the Beverly Hills, CA area and then the Secretary of the State in CA and next week begin to call your corporate number and ask for diffrent executives in correcting this matter. Then I will begin contacting by email every Secretary of State about this matter as well. Thank you for your time and you will hear from me again. Scott.
I actually worked for Live Nation at Pelham, Alabama location. They failed to pay me for the hours I worked. Furthermore, I tried to set up a meeting with the managers to go over my hours. No one would take a meeting with me. They had the secretary call to tell me they had gone over my hours and assured me I would be paid accordingly. When I went to pick up my check, it was wrong again. I am owed for 11 hours. No one will listen to me at this location. At this point, it is not about the money owed, it is the principle. I want to be contacted by a professional person from corporate headquarters. My number is 205/413-5761
I was at your indianapolis venue for vans warped tour. The stage manager, ben friedman, was completely rude and un helpful. I come to find out his you tube profile name is "sparkyben".From the looks of his posts, he takes pride in his bad attitude. I cannot believe that live nation would continue working with someone who has such disdain for others in the music biz. I suggest you search "local crew vs. tour manager" on you tube.
I a writing this because I have been using live nation for YEARS I have bought front row to lawn seats in @ the tweeter center tinley park Illinois. I bought lawn seats for Brad Paisely, I have NEVER, had a problem ever before, when I got to the gte with my live nation pre bought ticket I was told the lawn was sold out ??! This was confusing because I had a prepaid ticket. I was told I wuld have to upgrade my ticket or walk away. The cheapest upgrade was 75$ and change. I had to pay for the upgrade the full price and give them my lawn ticket. As luck would have my seat was by a huge black pole in the back rows. I did not see the concert unless I looked on the screen. That is a lot of money, 28$ + 75$ to get stuck by a huge black pole and see the show on a monitor. I am s disapointed I use LIVE NATION because the prices are fair and it is so much more convenient. It also assures that I will get a good seat. I will never use LIVE NATION AGAIN after this experience. I spent way to much money to watch tv. I am very dissapointed. I thought having a ticket from LIVE NATION would secure my seat and make it easier to get into the concert. Sincerally yours, Catherine Flynn catherine.muldoon@yahoo.com
I recently purchased tickets for my son through live nation entertainment. Afterwards I started getting rolling stone magazine in the mail. My son got an e mail stating that we got a year subscription for free however in fine print it says just pay the fee at the end of your year and if you no longer want to receive it just mark cancel on your bill. This is a scam and I will not purchase anything from this company again. I was not able to reach a person at the phoenix headquarters and had to call long distance to California office to be taken off the mailing list. Beware of this scam.
