Life Time Fitness Corporate Office & Headquarters

The Lifetime Fitness in Mansfield Tx has been having a serious problem with locker space all members have made a permanant locker space and leaving little lockers for others management is aware of problem but no action is taken they have put out a letter on the mirrors in the locker room saying they will charge you 40.00 if you do not get your belongings and free up a locker but that is a joke and locker space has increased for personal perrmanant locker. Think I will claim my own locker also and join everybody else.

Why is it that a fitness club that boasts excellence have such difficulty with maitaining it's pools? If a nonprofit organization like the YMCA can do it, then why not a "for profit" corporation like Lifetime Fitness? There have been issues at the Tempe location regarding their indoor lap pool. For some reason it is closed regularly, allegedly due to chemical imbalances. I find it more than coincidental that this all began when the general manager, Jeff was transferred to Tempe from another facility in Gilbert. I used to use the Gilbert facility but the pool was managed so poorly that I began driving the distance (another 9 miles further)to Tempe. When the issues were mentioned to Jeff in Gilbert, he exhibited the worst customer service AND never rectified the pool issues. Now I am facing the same exact poor management with the Tempe facility. When a general manager is ineffectual, do you merely move that individual to another facility? Lifetime Fitness has become a substandard fitness experience and gets the worst marks for customer service. There is serious audacity in raising the membership dues when you can't deleiver what was promised during the sign up pep talk.

I am handicapped and went to the Sugar Land Texas gym to look at what they had. I was pressured so hard to make a decision right away that I literally had to walk out. Afterwards I asked if I could just use a trial to see if the facilities would be ok for me to get around. I was again pressured beyond belief. I have been called over and over again, emailed and texted. I wanted to just spend a day or so seeing if I could get around there easily and if their equipment was ok for my injuries, but when I tried to talk to them, pressure pressure pressure. I was promised that if I joined, there was a money back guarantee and that I could quit at any time. I tried to quit after one visit because the place was too spread out and the water in the pool had so much chlorine that it caused injury to my eyes, hair and skin. There were also at least 10 children under the age of 7 in the hot tub and they were using it as a toilet. However the main problem was still that I could not get around in the building because of the space in between the dressing room front door, and facilities. I told the guy who signed me up after one visit that I wanted to quit and get my money back. He talked and talked and pressured me some more and was NOT listening. I was upset and embarrassed. I went back up there with my daughter where they seriously insulted me some more for wanting to quit so I asked for a manager. The manager was even worse, demanding to know the exact nature of my injuries and that I should list them out. Then he insulted me over and over again. I refused to accept his comments. I want my money back, and he said I will not get it, and that they will still charge me another month. I am a handicapped single Mother. This place is criminal and evil!! It also smells like mildew. I want my money back. Beware if you try to quit!!!!!!

I was going to the Berkley Heights NJ club for about 1 month.On 2-6-12 I was watching about 12 kids around 10 years old taking swimming lessons when I was approached by the sales manager Umut Ilgin at the club who asked me to come to his office. There he told me I was acting inappropriately. When I asked him what the hell he was talking about he said parents were complaining because I was watching their kids in the pool.I couldn't believe my ears but being I was tired and a type of person who tries to avoid fights at all cost I told him I will not watch the kids anymore. On my way home I started to think about the accusation and got boiling mad.Don't we have a right to freedom of speech and ability to look at anyone and anything in public places?I was smoking hot the following day ready to talk to Karl who is the CEO at the club but luck would have it he was on a business trip and wasn't going to be back untill monday 2-13.Thursday about 12 noon I saw the A-hole who made the accusation talking to the lady who was Karl's assistant. I told him I had the right to watch whomever I wanted to in a public place and if those parents don't like it they should not bring their kids to the club. Needless to say I was steaming hot.The A-hole Umut Ilgin told me lets go outside at which point he told me my membership is cancelled and he called the cops who told me to leave and not to come back because I'll be arrested.This club deems appropriate for kids to see grown men naked but not appropriate for me to see their kids taking swimmming lessons.

I am a long time member of the Tempe AZ LTF Club. On August 4th two employees were fired from this club. Their names are Ed and Arsenio. These firings were totally unjustified. They were both always helpful and ALWAYS working hard. I believe they were fired by their new supervisor so that she could put her handpicked new friends in their positions. Neither one of these fired employees are personal friends of mine and I haven't seen or spoken to either one since before they were fired. So they are not aware that I am contacting you. All of the early morning members that I talked to were shocked and very disappointed upon hearing of their dismissal.
