1 Reviews For Kramer Ace Hardware Headquarters & Corporate Office
trying to get ahold of anyone to express concerns regarding the oil base indoor house paints is impossible. My bedroom was painted on a Saturday, August 7th, with an oil base coat. At 6pm I entered the room and with bare feet, put my right foot under the drop cloth, then my left foot, flicking the drop cloth away from the door so I could enter the room to retrieve my telephone. Several hours later both of the tops of my feet had huge blisters which required a doctor's care. More than two weeks later, I still have huge blisters, with the exception of the large toes, that have popped. I keep thinking, what if a child or a pet crawled under the drop cloth. My God, horrible. So my reason for attempting to reach corporate (to no avail) is to ask you to print a warning on your cans of paint that the fumes turn into a chemical stew that can badly burn skin if touched on the underside of the drop cloth until fully ventilated. The room did have an open window, but that did not suffice to keep the stew from "stewing" for many hours. How many, I cannot say. Please put a warning on your oil base paints!
Sincerely,
Judith McFarlane
