I went to the Moorestown store to buy two suits. They told me I was a 50. I wear a 38 pants. After tailoring the 50 suit it was way too big. I when back and then they told me I was a 46. After tailoring one leg was too long and the jacket didn't fit. Then they try a 48 short and was going to alter it. I told the manager I was never a short. I'm only 6 feet 1 inch and 210 lbs. On the way home I cancelled the entire order. When I went back today for the refund I found that I was overcharged on my original receipt. I wasted seven trips to the store and had the worse experience. I have been buying suits for over 50 years.

Back in December of 2011, went into the Pier Park store, in Panama City Beach, Florida, store (which is not listed o ntheir web site),add was buy 1- suite, get 2- free, 2-shirts and 2- silk ties. I had seen this add many time on Fox News in the Morning, so I did get the deal. By the time thy get adding the sale tax, tailoring charge, it was over $700.00. Originally all items were for $500.00. When the "Department Manager fittied me I had on a pair of pants, about size 29/30(My waiste is 36), told him I could not button the pants, his stement was," you have to button it so I can measure the pants for the waist. Well I got the things button, waited abnout 1-month to get the call to come down, the dam pants were as tight as when I tried them on. They sent them back again, only for the 2nd time to be the same as before. Then he said he would order pants again This was beginning of May 12, went to store on June 2,2012 to ask about pants, basically he lied to me saying the phone number didnot work, but would overnight new pantsand have length fixed and work on waist. As of this date June 16,2012 I have not heard anything. Over the weekend have l;eft mesages on the Customer Service site, no answer, and left message o nthe 800 number. Monday I will call the office in Maryland, may have better luck there, if not TO COURT WE GO, AND BAD PRESS IN THE LOCAL PAPER...manobelt@gmail.com

I want to teel you my experiance and beleive me I have told everyone I know and have meet what your company policy is and have stoped many people from shopping with you and I promise I will continue to I have told then to go to Mens WaREHOUSE. i PURCHASED $2 OOO.00 PLUS IN CLOTHES FROM YOU LAST UEAR AT ONE TIME AND HAD TO GO BACK TO GET A REFUND BECAUSE tHE SALESMAN ONE TRIED TO CHARGE ME AND DID UNTILL i CALLED BACK AND SAID CANCELL THE ORDER WHEN YOU OFFERED BUY 1 SUIT AND GET 2 FREE. I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD OFFER ONLY TO BE CHARGED FOR A SPORTS COAT AND THEN PANTS WHEN IT CAME AS A SUIT WITH THE PANTS ON THE HANGER JUST TO MAKE MOOR MONRY A BIGGER SALE. i THEN WENT AND ASKED ABOUT THE CHARGE AND SAID IT WAS LISTED AS A SUIT AND THE SALESMAN CHANGED THE PRICE. iu THEN WENT TO ANOTHER LOCATION THINKING THIS WAS SOMETHING PRACTISED BY THE ONE SALESMAN AND AGAIN WAS PROVEN WRONG AGAIN BY YOUR COMPANY.WHEN 2 MONTHS AGO YOU RAN AN ADD SAYING PURCHASE A SPORTS COAT AND GET SO MUCH OFF AND FOR ADDITIONAL MONEYT GET A PAIR FO PANTS OR A TIE OR SHIRT AND AGAIN WAS DUPED BY ANOTHER LOCATION ALL THEY SHWED ME DURING YOUR SPORTS COAT SALE WAS COATS NOT ON SALE AND PICKED OUT TWO AND PANTS AND TIES AND SHOES. oNLY TO BE CHARGED A HUGE AMOUNT AND WHEN i ASKED ABOUT THE SPECIAL YOU OFFERED i WAS TOLD ALL THEY HAD TO LOOK AT WAS A TOTAL OF 4 SPORTS COATS.i HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BAD BY BOTH LOCATIONS IN MY LIFE .AND PROMISE i WILL NOT TRY AGAIN THAT IS WHY I TELL EVERYONE I KNOW WHAT EVER YOU DO DON;T GO TO JOSEP A BANKE THAT THEY WILL GET A BETTER DEAL AT MENS WAREHOUSE AND THEY HAVE THANKED ME.

i would like to tell you about how sad we are that your store in Simi Valley California at 1555 SimiTown Center Drive is closing its doors. We will go to the Westlake Village Store now which is about a 40 minute drive from Chatsworth Ca where we live but it is worth it. You had an amazing manager Margaret who ran the store in Simi. She is awesome. She really knows her business. When we needed guidance on matching shirts;, pants, and ties Margaret had excellent taste. She always gave my husband Mark her undivided attention and helped him to pick out some great outfits. We sent some shirts from the Simi Store to my family in Westport Connecticut for all occasions, birthdays, holidays etc. Margaret always helped us with that and was able to tell us what their sizes were as she had it in the computer. WHen we needed a suit altered a couple times she dealt with it and finally got it perfect. My son moved to Seattle after college in Washington and needed a suit for his job interview in radio production. on Movin 925 in Bellvue Washington.There was actually only a promotions job,which would have called for a more casual shirt but when they saw him in the suit from Joseph A Bank they decided to interview him for the morning ASST production programming job as well. It was a beautiful suit; they said he looked impressive and got the job. Well I have to say that Margaret and Joseph A Banks merchandise is the reason we keep coming back. We probably spend 500- 1000 dollars a year on gifts or shirts from your store. We may buy from the local mall stores sometimes but when it is quality we go to Joseph A BAnks. I really hope you can use Margaret in one of your other stores. She was the reason we keep coming back. She offers terrific customer service and makes sure things are done right. It is like having a personal wardrobe person. My husband's family Bruce Dubow, Herb Dubow, Michael Dubow, and David Dubow also shop at Joseph A BAnks in their perspective states. I don't usually have alot of time to write comments; we work long hours; but I am telling you that I am so so satisfied with your merchandise and customer service. Please please would you keep Margaret at one of your stores in CA like Westlake or Sherman Oaks. We have been so happy with her customer service. It is a big deal when you take the time to care about your customers; and not many stores care the way she does. They just want commission and aren't really honest with you. I truly hope you will keep her in some way; ok WE will either drive to Sherman Oaks or WEstlake Village to get your merchandise.. I am writing this to you without Margaret knowing and I hope this is the right place to email this. My name is Scott Klein and I just purchased a suit from the Morristown shop. I am a little upset on how it was run. My father just passed away on Wednesday and I needed a suit for the Sunday viewing so I walked in to the shop on Friday because I saw the big signs of 60% to 70% off. He then started to mark the pants saying I can be fitted in a small shop located across from the post office. I asked him you guys don’t do tailoring he then said no we don’t. At the time of purchase and as I was ready to pay the gentlemen said 568.00 or something I then said for this kind of money I cannot get it tailored here he then said no and that he would call the lady over at the Morristown tailors and get me in right away. he then rung me up and before he finished the transaction I asked him are you sure that’s with the 60% to 70% off. He said and I quote, “Oh they are on sale Oh I see the signs now ok I guess I have to fix it now." it ended up being almost three hundred dollars. I felt very upset and felt that I was taking advantage of because I told him my father passed away on Wednesday. I am writing you this because I just walked out of the tailors and that was another $68.00. I am letting you know because I do not know what to believe and I feel really really hurt by the whole situation and I do not know what the truth is.
