I have never experienced such poor customer Service in my life! Tried to order checks using the insert sent with a previous order, but was told I would have to spend $200 more for "special paper" checks for my own "safety". If I didnt want to spend the extra I would have to order from the web site. With the Intuit order rep on the phone she walked me through ordering from the web. Just as I hung up I got an email with a double order! I called Immediately to get this corrected. The person told me it was all fixed and fine and would be arriving "perfect". Well I got the double order inspite of calling with in 30 seconds of getting the email. I called to complain about the order as well as the issue of bilking me out of an extra 200 dollars for specail paper "for my own safety" I explained it took me about an hour to get the checks ordered. and at that time I was told I would be given a refund of $588.90 for "all my trouble". I didnt ask for that amount but was told over the next 2 MONTHS by various people that was the refund I would be getting. I have all the names and extentions of these employees. 2 months of calling, sitting on hold, being told I would get a call back in 15 minutes, and no phone calls came. Then being lied to by a supervisor who said she called but funny thing our caller ID never recorded any such call. Then after nearly 2 months I actaully talked to an American who told me the Conformation number for my case had been erased, in fact all of my information on the calls made, etc, had been deleated. How does that happen? How does a person need to call for 2 months, get jacked around, lied to, told this would be fixed that very day, yet it still hasnt been resolved to my satisfaction. And now someone erased my conformation numner and log of calls!!! I was lied to by 10 people at Intuit, 10 people who said my refund would be 588.90 and on its way! Several employees told me they had a problem with refunds,a system problem and I should have my bank stop payment! oh that would be great but after 60 days they cant do it! after trying to get this through to the supervisor, she apparently decided to erase my confirmation number along with the log of calls I made. Unbelieveable!!!! I get an email today saying they are refunding less than half of what I was promised! Again I NEVER asked for that amount but was told that would be the refund and I was given a Confirmation number.. which eventually I was told was erased. The person who told me about the erasure must be in hot water as the supervisor asked for her name and extension. What an organization! And I was told that they "pride" the organization on thier quick one call response! Really?.I will never order checks from Intuit again. I am contimplating filing a law suit, dont care if I win, I want to cost intuit what they ultimately cost me in terms of my time and efforts to resolve this, nearly 9 hours on hold over 2 months. Is that Cutomer Service? You must train your people to lie and cover up what they cant solve.Watch out folks, If I were you I would order checks elsewhere. These people have no idea what they are doing. Actaully I have 3 businesses and activley seeking a new Accounting program and payroll. Peachtree perhaps?
Outsourced and poor customer service not able to help. Hang-up phones after half an hour of hold. Would charge the renewal but do not provide service and would not refund the fee. Spent hours and days without much help.
I just opened a Go Pay account and have been trying for 2 days now to purchase the Blue Bamboo Printer/card reader(P-25) on your site. There is a message your site in the cart section that your merchant service was down for maintenance over the long weekend and would be up by Tuesday morning at 5AM,but is still not up. I've spent 3 hours on the phone speaking to FIVE Customer support people and much to my dismay, no one can help me order this item. They all refer me back to the non working web page where I'm told I must purchase these items. I'm beginning to think I made a mistake in choosing this service. How can a company that sells merchant credit card services not be able to handle a credit card sale over the phone. They sure had no problem setting up my account over the phone.
Been using Intuit for 12 years. Have filed to go to court twice. Filling out paperwork for the third time. They know very little to nothing about doing payroll. Two years ago made appointment with them to set up payroll. Intuit took me through step by step. I entered exactly what they told me. two months later I discovered that I was over paying my payroll tax. Oregon Dept of Rev. informed me that I needed to get Intuit to file an ammendment for their error. They wanted to charge me $270 for their mistake. When you call and they tell you that some one will call back within four hours, don't believe it. It is just to get you off the line. When you file small claims action then their legal department will call two or three days before court then they are willing to listen with reason.
Horrible, non english speaking support. If and when you can reach someone, they don't really know the product but are lightning fast at charging your credit card. Ask for a supervisor and get hung up on. another perfect example of all things outsourced to other countries. NO quality control.
I've Been trying to get help or guidance for 2 days via Intuits website, and no response.. I Have used Quicken for 10 years on PC. I recently purchased Apple Mac laptop, and need help to from Intuit to get software and convert files. Their support website doesn't work.. and can't find a phone number either, even though Intuits webpage suggests "Free" conversion support by phone is available. Intuit, your customer service and website are NOT USER FRIENDLY. If you value your customers, you can reach me at 301-846-0396. Dan.
Quickbooks Pro 2012 BUYERS beware........................do not buy it! 3 out of my 5 banking institutions are not on their list.I wasinformed I should have checked first (how do you check a disc in a box) I would have to close the accounts and open accounts with the banks on their list. Setting up on line banking, what a joke. I was told that my banks server was down, called my bank nothing wrong with their server, then I was told that my connection was faulty called AT & T nothing wrong with my connection. I have spent so much of my time trying to set up 1 account. Speaking to Customer Care, Tech Support, Business App and still NO one can sort this problem out. I can not understand half of what the customer care and techs are saying. I'm sending EVERYTHING back to Mr. Brad Smith to see if he can get it up and running. As to a STAR a big fat 0. I've spent far to much of my time and money on this. I wish I cold take it all back to the store and get ALL my money back.
On February 7, 2012 I contacted Intuit about a problem I was having putting my Quickbooks Pro 2006 on my new computer with an upgraded operating system. The rep informed me that my version would not work with the new operating system. The rep then said I would have to pay $228 for a 2012 Pro Edition. The rep then told me he had a deal for me. If I would buy a tech support package for $29.95 a month; I would get the new program for free. He also said I could discontinue the tech support at anytime and still keep my Quickbooks Pro 2012 package license. On February 23, 2012 I contacted Intuit to cancel the tech support and I was told I would lose my Quickbooks license. If I want to keep my Quickbooks, I would have to pay $182.40. I asked about what I was told originally and they said they did not care about what the person told me. PAY THE MONEY OR LOSE THE LICENSE. BUYER BE WARE WHEN DEALING WITH INTUIT CORPORATION. I talked to the office of the president of Intuit and I was told that they DO NOT stand behind what their sales reps tell the customers. Their sales people can misrepresent thier products all they want and they do not care.
With all the money Intuit charges for it's version after versions, upgrades after upgrades, online this and online that, you would think they would be capable of providing customer support for their products. Instead of help, the foreign speaking reps attempt to lure you in to upgrades. My QB Pro 2012 is not even broken in and besides that, has so many glitches and today my Company files disappeared, and customer supports only solution was to upgrade to a bigger version of QB. What a joke this company is! I'm dumping this program tomorrow and will never look back and I suggest some people at Intuit Corporate browse the web and for just a minute, listen to the dissatisfation of the masses.
I have been a loyal TurboTax user for many years, with no problems with the software. for my 2010 filing in New York State, TT included a form for mortgage tax deduction - which it turns out I am ineligible for. the tax program does not flag this as an error, their 'guarentee' said they will not cover the $3000 tax bill I received because there is an obsucure reference in the actual form that says I am inelligible for the deduction. If the software knows I am not entitled to the deduction, why did it allow that to happen and pass its own internal audit.
Ppl like you get all the brains. I just get to say thanks for he awnesr.
Upgraded to QBPOS Ver. 10 in January and it has been a nightmare ever since. The latest version has so many glitches, even tier 2 tech support can't iron them out and yet they treat you as if you have no right to be upset b/c you have to spend hours each day trying to get answers. If anyone reading this is thinking about a retail program, RUN don't walk away from QBPOS!
I was sent an email from Intuit for a 50% off on Quicken personal finanice 2011 versions. I took the link provided to buy. I picked the version and it was put into the cart. I already had an account, but needed to get the login and password. Did that the temp password was sent in a new email. I also has to change the credit card number which I did. I went back to the cart and submitted the purchase. I did not receive a confirmation. To contact suppport I has to go to another site and request a support pnone number. Waited 48 hrs. Finally got support but the sale had expoired. They told me that I would need to pay full price. Not fair, I did not make the order.
The Intuit Electronic Filing System is having difficulty recognizing the data in the return you are sending. To ensure you have the latest version of TurboTax, wait 24 hours to update your program automatically. If you still can't transmit your return, go to www.support.turbotax.com for a solution or workaround. In some cases, you may need to file your return by mail. can't get anyone to resolve this.
Worst company support, run way from this product
can not upgrade or restore from 2003 version to 2006. On phone for 3 hrs with tech support. Finally was talked into buying 2011 version. Downloaded 2011 version, same problem, can not upload/restore data from 2003. Uninstalled 2011 per tech direction. 2011 has not arrived after 3 weeks. Then they wanted to charge $20 for a replacement disc. NOT!!! never got 1st mailing. About ready to totally dump Quickbooks. Suggest caution when dealing with these oriental techs. Next call will be to corporate.
This has to be one of the worst software support organizations. Little understanding of their own software. Continually making me feel stupid, like I don't know what I'm doing.... Guess what - I don't! That's why I pay for support. Over 5 hours and I've yet to get some simple answers. Lots of transferring - disconnects - "I understands" (they really don't). I guess I'm the fool. Could probably hire a "QuickBooks" pro and get the job done quicker - and cheaper (my time has to be worth more than these call center reps?).
