I recently took my daughter to the Great Clips in Fairborn, Ohio on Dayton Yellowsprings Rd, and the manager Twila did her hair. She was very professional and explained everything she was doing also this was the best haircut she has ever had we will be returning and telling everyone to go see Twila. It is so hard to find a great hairdresser and I am so greatful to have found this one. Thank you Great Clips for having such a wonderful staff.

My hair is a mess! Im 13, and what I look for in hair is style! When I went to GREAT CLIPS, I absolutely did NOT get style! I got uneven, choppy ends. Which look like someone ran over them with a lawn mower! It looks awful in braids, obviously the lady did NOT know what she was doing. I am ashamed of the mess she put in my hair! UGLY UGLY MESS. never go to a "grand" opening at great clips. There were several pieces of long hair. Topping, my ugly mess, she was totally rude. I will never go to GREAT CLIPS EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER again.I'd rather pay $25 for a hair cut than at a trip on not so great clips.

Omg you ruined my 5th grade year I needed a hair cut realllllyyy bad and my mom didn't have time 2 take me to our regular hair dresser and my hair wuz pretty and find but you damaged my hair so that it puffed on one side and the other side it was flat and your an IDIOT my mom wanted her hair bleached how hard is that and you bleached it then made it like brown i mean WTF your such idiots i hate that place soooo much you even messed up my dads hair and all he wanted was a buzz cut so really your just hair retared

Twice, I have been to the Great Clips in Florissant, MO, located on New Halls Ferry Road. One particular experience makes me wary of that place. I went in for a haircut and wash, and it had been a few months since my last haircut. I have a slight issue with dry scalp, but have never been treated as horribly about it before. The girl who cut my hair seemed disgusted, telling me (loudly) that I needed to use a clarifying shampoo, that my hair was "really bad", and then talking about a customer being worked on beside us, saying, "look at her hair. It's so nice and shiny, don't you want hair like that?" Continuing to exmaine my hair as she cut it, she suddenly said in a LOUD whisper, "Honey, I think you may have lice." She than said loudly to her coworker beside her, "Can you come over here and look at this?" I was mortified. Her coworker came over, and my "stylist" said, (loudly, of course) "Is this lice?" Her coworker looked at it for about a second, and said no. The girl contined to cut my hair then. I WOULD HAVE left, but I didn't want to go with half cut hair. After the cut was over, Thank God, becuase by then I wanted to melt into the floorboards, she took me to the front counter to print out my bill. She actually seemed surprised she wasn't getting a tip! By the way, my husband was getting his haitcut nearby, and heard everthing she had said. So embarrasing! He knew she was ridiculous, but still! The cut wasn't bad actually, but I have heard of a lot of other people woho have had trouble with the "stylists" at Great Clips, who seemed to lack the common sense it takes to treat customers nicely and not embarrass them. Maybe a class on customer serivce is in order? And while your at it, one on haircutting. A friend was in the same Great Clips recently, and said that a woman came in to have her hair redone becuase one side had been cut longer than the other. Yikes! Just what you want to hear when getting a haircut!

I went for a hair cut then i will put shavving cream on my head and shave it again,i told them they did it well and they did it 5 times and i became totally blad and i loved.

Hello and good mornig; My short note is to inform you that yesterday i ent to one of your greatclips saloon , located at :902 Kitty Hawk, univerzasl city, texas. there the air conditioner was down, so I asked the attendent and she told me that someone was there earlier to check the unit and that they told her the unit compressor was out. Well! first of all i do not believe that the compressor is out since that business it is only been open for about five years or so, I am a proffessioanl A/c repair, . Great Clips in Lakewood, WA., sucks really bad. Will never go there again. Customer service was horrible. Dislike that place! ugh!

To: Great Clips From: Will Wiggins I have just had a horrendous experience at the Great Clips located at 3322 Sugarloaf Pkwy suite -100 Lawrence Ga. I have been using this same location for the past three years and have had nothing but great experiences there. However I just left the location and I am at a appoint I do not know what to do, my hair looks like someone cut it with a dull bladed lawnmower, and I have large gaps and holes in my hair, valleys. It looks awful, and I am ashamed to go out in public I look like a freak. I had to ask the stylist to stop cutting my hair. I understand he was new, but someone should have been supervising him. The young lady whom was working with attempted to correct it as best she could but short of shaving my head there was little she could do. She apologized over and over for his lack of workmanship and stated she was sorry. I am 52 years old and do not want to shave my head. Also I work for a local County Government and have to be out in the public eye every day. And this is a totally unacceptable look. But more important my granddaughter is having her christening this Sunday so we have people coming to town for the event and I can NOT wear a hat in church. I am so upset I could almost cry!!!!!! Brenda in you corporate office was very little help, refusing to allow me to talk with anyone else there stating “I cannot transfer you” that to me is poor customer service. However I am still faced with my problem. I feel like I want to get a permit from city hall and stand in front of the business with a sign to look at what they did to me. I have been to many Great Clips over my 40 years of Life. Granted. Not all of them have been supior cuts, but the majority of them have been great. Its not the Price of the cut. It's the person giving it. You can not base a whole company on one bad cut. Mistakes are made. Don't tell me in your whole career. YOU never made a mistake at your own job!! As far as I am concered. They are good poeple who truely try and give you great hair when you leave. It is their reputation as stylist that walk out that door with you. and remember. It's only hair and it will grow back. As for debasing a WHOLE company off one bad apple.. maybe you should do some soul searching before you critisize someone. As for the woman that the girls where saying you where a bad mom for cutting your daughters hair. I seriously doubt they where saying that. You probably just head with your heart instead of your ears. though, I have been in some places where the stylist where mean, I never visited that place again. Thank you

Well you should try working at a Great Clips. I have 20 years experience and have owned my own business. I'm moving to Long Beach island and applied for a job at the Manahawkin salon. The girl told me after the interview she would be in touch the next day. I didn't hear from her for a week. I finally called assuming I didn't get the job, but wanted feed back on what I could do better at my next interview. She told me she loved me and hired me. I went in for training and the assistant manager had a attitude right off the bat. Talking down to me like I was a idiot. I figured just keep my mouth shut I'm the new girl. My first day I performed at the rate that Great Clips wants and above. Doing enough haircuts to raise my hourly pay by 2 dollars. I even worked late because there were clients coming in and having owned my own business the client is the most important person. I thought I did well that day 18 haircuts in 6 hours. My next work day, I asked for help with the computer a few times and the girl who help me spoke to me in an embarrassing tone in front of clients. The second time she did it I ask her please do not speak to me that way.Afterward she came up to me and said we needed to talk, I was with a client and told her when the shop was free of clients we would. The other stylist and myself worked this out. But then management got involved and the chaos was insane. The part time manager obviously didn't like me and I did not realize this. She accused me of things I didn't even do. Even the other stylist agreed it was blown way out of proportion. They made me sign a paper that said I acted badly. When I didn't want to management said I would not receive my check if I did not. Management said everything was fine but if it happened again I would be suspended. I thought ok lets get past this maybe this will still work out. At the end of the day I was called in by another manager who fired me. I even had a request today from a client because someone came into her job bragging what a great stylist I am so she wanted me to cut her hair. I worked for Great Clips one day and was already getting requests, stayed late for the company and performed at the top of what the company wants.I get fired for something me and another stylist worked out just fine.

Thought I would save some money and use a coupon that arrived in the mail for $4.99, afterall I have 4 kids. I usually spend $16 at a local place for the last 4 years. After arriving to the Denville, NJ location, I waited for 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. She took my name and put in the computer for obvious marketing reasons. I sat down and, in walks three other customers. They stood at the register in LINE behind each other for 10 minutes, not wanting to move or sit down and lose their spot. There were only two "haircutters" there. I was next, I sat down with the young girl and asked her how long she has been cutting hair. She told me a few years at a place that is very far away. I glance over at her license and she just got it two months ago. I stood up and looked in the mirror and was embarrassed of how I looked! I immediately got in my car and made an appointment at my regular place, 20 minutes later! where she cut fixed it for NO CHARGE. She said the owner is never there and is opening two other locations in the area??? I will never go to Great Clips again and love sharing my horrible experience with anyone who will listen. Thought you should know.

I worked for GC in Utah. The owner of my store is John Lehmen and it was horriable. They do not know how to treat their employees. All they care about is cutting hair in ten minutes. Well as you can see with all the complaints is you can't do a good hair cut in that time. Somehow Great Clips has lost what it means to truely treat a guest in a salon. I am truly embarrassed that I even worked for Great Clips. I know you as a company will never change. It is sad, even when I worked there the guests would complain about what a crapy place and what a crapy job we did. I would think to myself "then why are you coming back". It was awful You have no idea what guests want not even a small clue.

ThE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE TO EVER GET YOUR HAIR CUT. THE MANAGER WHO CUT MY MOTHERS HAIR WAS RUDE BUTCHERED HER HAIR. IT WAS A VERY COMMON HAIR CUT. HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF WMEN HAVE THEIR HAIR STACKED IN THE BACK AND WHISPY SIDES AND TOP. MY MOTHER CAN NOT STOP CRYING WE WERE SUPPOSED TO GET FAMILY PICTURES TAKEN FOR CHRISTMAS AND COULD NOT. THE HAIR CUT IS UNEVEN CHOPPY AND MANISH. THE PERSON CUTTING HER HAIR DID NOT EVEN LEAVE ENOUGH TO FIX OR SALVAGE ANY TYPE OF WOMENS STYLE UNLES SHE WANTED TO LOOK LIKE A 55 YEAR OLD LUMBER JACK. WORST PLACE EVER TO GET YOUR HAIR CUT. IF I CAN EVER GET HER TO STOP CRYING WE WILL TAKE HER TO BUY A WIG.

I needed a haircut bad after i was released from jail and my hair was of of control so i decided to give great clips a try. well I walked in and this young beauitful woman walked up and said welcome to Great Clips and can i help you? I said I need a cut bad so she took me back to the chair and she had asked me what are we doing today I told her lets do a number 2 on the sides and back. Well she started cutting and the hair was falling then I noticed it was shorter than it looked before with a number 2 so I asked to see the blade and she told me it was a 2. Once she was finished I grabed the clipper and looked at the blade and it was a 1. I told her I am not paying for the cut because you didn't do what I asked. She told me I wolud have to pay and she would contact a manager about the service and she would contact me.As of this date no one has contact me. I thought this stylist named Crsytal would have given me a great cut she even gave me her phone number and I don't know why.

My daughters hair looks so terrible! I think next time I'd rather take a risk and cut her hair myself! Even a child could've done a better job.

how about went to get my hair shampooed and styled. stylist barely shampooed my hair, everything i ask him to do he didnt. it was horrible then he over charged me. I argue and walked out and he called police , they said either pay or go to jail. Me making my point said ur gonna have to take me to jail then, 3 days in and a 825.00 fine and they took my drivers license. I am seeking attorney for damages. All because I was an unsatisfied client. and also the stylist was rushing to get me done. HORRIBLE........

Thank you !! I recently moved from New Jersey, where I had the same stylist for the last 15 years. With all the other worries of moving, finding my soon-to-be new stylist was amongst one of my top concerns as I had been used to a certain level of service and am very particular when it comes to my hair. I had several bad experiences throughout San Antonio including some high end salons. I was willing to travel, cost not being a consideration, to find that one individual I could trust to cut/style my hair every two weeks. A business trip came up and I needed my hair cut immediately. I stopped into your Gateway Plaza location (Live Oak/Selma, TX) and thought I would give it a try as my options were running out. Thank God I did !! Your stylist, Krisin Watts, has been a true blessing. Professional, courteous and empathetic to my particular wants ... absolutely someone that makes my experience truly a pleasure not to mention the great job she does!! My only concern is what I am going to do if she ever leaves, as I frequent your establishment solely because of her. Please pass this along to Krisin and her management team. True talent, superior customer service and a smile that lights the place up should be rewarded!!!

Went to get a haircut, asked to have it dryed and the hairdresser used her fingers saying if she used a brush which she had not one she would have to charge me for a style? I was a stylist for years and when I worked I khad brushes, all kinds, I even had scissors, combs etc... what is going on with Great Clips?

so my friends go get there hair cut at great clips and do yall know that they are timed to do hair cuts they have to do their hair cuts between 15 and 17 minutes they get graded on it now do you really want someone to cut your hair in 15 minutes i mean really
