Minnesota voters will have the chance to decide on whether to define marriage as one man and one woman in the November election. I cannot for the life of me understand hoe General Mills would be AGAINST TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE. For 6,000 years, marriage is the union of a man and a woman who make a permanent and exclusive commitment to each other of the type that is naturally (inherently) fulfilled by bearing and rearing children together. The spouses seal (consummate) and renew their union by conjugal acts—acts that constitute the behavioral part of the process of reproduction, thus uniting them as a reproductive unit. Marriage is valuable in itself, but its inherent orientation to the bearing and rearing of children contributes to its distinctive structure, including norms of monogamy and fidelity. My family believes in marriage as only between one man and one woman, and that same-sex marriage is both unnatural and immoral. I believe that your corporate executives should remain neutral on this very disturbing issue and concentrate on becoming America’s best cereal maker.

I have recently learned that GM has come out against Minnesota’s Defense of Marriage Act. It’s one thing to remain neutral, however this is a blatant attack on traditional marriage. How can your company take a political stand on the marriage amendment. You are speaking for many employees and stock members who are in favor of the amendment. This is not diversity, or as you call it inclusion.

Your commercials with the deceased son of Anthony Quinn are in such poor taste. Cute when he was alive but certainly not now that he has passed away. I think respectfully these commericals should be removed and new ones done. I realize his family may get residuals each time those commercials are done, buy give them a nice cheque and film new commericals. I just find it so distasteful to keep seeing him knowing he is no longer with us, and his legacy should not be Old El Paso commericals. I don't know about anyone else but I would not buy Old El Paso right now because I just find these commercials so distasteful. A chain of grocery stores are only giving up to .51 on your $1.00 coupons which are printed by the media or other on-line coupons. I had a disagreement with Kroger and called their customer service line in Cincinnati, OH and they informed me that they had the right to change how much they give on a coupon. I asked is it because of the super coupon shoppers (after few minutes of going around the bush - the answer was yes) Their computer cash registers will only accept up to .51 on a coupon no matter what the manufacturer has listed and is constantly changing. In other words if I give them a coupon for a General Mills item that is a $1.00 off who gets the other .49 (Kroger or General Mills)?

I use and like the Old El Paso products but may be changing to another brand due to the commercials tha are in Spanish. I am in America, am an American, and would appreciate American television be in English.

I am enraged at the commercial you have airing for Cheerios. What is the point of having a lunatic dad belittling his son while looking like a control-freak fool over a box of cereal? Think about it. Every time this commercial comes on I switch the channel. It repulses me! I won't buy Cheerios anymore just because of this degrading commercial that has got to be very damaging to father son relationships. Don't laugh. This is serious. As if there isn't enough pain in this world relating to such as this. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Who ever does your advertising, and who ever approves this kind of garbage is not fit to represent a product that once took the lead in goodness and wholesome lifestyle.
