Customer service is not up to par, not all customers desire a receipt and will accept and trust that GCI has cancelled their service , however if a customer desires something more say a receipt that actually says cancelled service and returned modem this receipt should be given, GCI at Boniface has refused to give me any type of receipt, the piece of paper they gave me just said, sold to. this did not satisfy this customer, perhaps others may be ok with this and that is their option, I feel if a customer just wants proof of cancelled services and receipt of returned modem that they should have it simple as that....

There are quite a few times when I have experienced the inability to use my wireless phone due to line complications. I think for the money it cost us we should be able to access our children, emergency facilities, family, and be able to call for help dialing 911 of which cannot be accessed either. So, tell me would you be satisfied if you were unable to call your sick child at home, or need to contact the school, or again, 911 or fire dept for emergencies. Please remedy Alaska of this problem. Also, can you explain why this only affects individuals located in East Anchorage? I am interested in knowing if the fact that most people in this area have economical phone access (cheap). One more item to address is what about individuals who are homeless but have phones and use them for safety purposes. What happens to them? Think hard, about a viable solution to this problem. Not to mention what about handicapped children who must communicate with their parents by phone. This is definitely a problem. I await your solution. Please hurry!

I have been with GCI for years using Web Mail with good service. About a month ago, my Email service became unusable. I have been confined to home because of illness, so my adult son (Frank,III) has been my representative to GCI, trying to solve the Web Mail problem. In contacts with some GCI techs, he has been repeatedly told thst "everything is OK as far as our server, trouble must be in your computer". This is pure bullshit, as we have tried 4 different computers with the same results-----NONE. How about someone getting off their dead ass and solving this situation? Our business, Alaskakrafts, Inc. is suffering financially and we are seriously planning to change to another ISP unless this Email problem is solved quickly! Frank G. Pratt, Sr.

LAST WEEK I CALLED THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT TO GET MY INSIDE CABLE SHORTENED. I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CALL ME BACK WITH A TIME AND DAY..NO CALL!!! SO I CALLED AGAIN THIS MORNING AND WAS TOLD BY THE TECH THAT NOT ONLY DID I NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT BUT THAT MY LANDLORD HAS NO RIGHT TO SAY GCI IS NOT ALLOWED ON HIS PROPERTY. I AM SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW I AM READY TO RIP THIS CABLE OUT AND THROW IT THRU GCIs WINDOW!!! THE PERSON WHO DID THE INSTALL LEFT A RIDICULOUS AMOUT OF WIRE ROLLED UP. I COULD MOVE MY TV AND COMPUTER OUTSIDE MY APT. AND STILL HAVE CABLE LEFT. ALL I WANTED WAS FOR SOMEONE TO COME IN REROUTE THE CABLE-RIGHT NOW IT RUNS DOWN THE CENTER OF THE WALL-AND MAYBE SHORTEN IT BY A FOOT OR SO. THE PERSON WHO INSTALLED IS NOT WANTED BACK HERE. THE WAY THE TECH TALKED TO ME THIS MORNING WAS DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE. AND SO STILL I HAVE NO RECOURSE TO GET THIS CABLE SHORTENED.. IT WOULD BE A QUICK IN AND OUT JOB. I ASKED FOR A SIMPLE FIX AND GOT TREATED WITH TOTAL DISRESPECT. NOT AT ALL PLEASED WITH GCI AT THIS TIME
