VERY UPSET CUSTOMER~~~I received information today about my truck which has been in the shop for the past month. Now I have to wait on an engineer to be available to check it out. Ford can only pay 1 months payment while my business is in a sense shut down since it is on my truck. I make approximately $900 per day with my welding truck and you have had it for almost a month and today I found out an engineer won't be available until next week and a hose won't be available until August 27. I am seriously getting frustrated and will be reporting this to the BBB. I cannot keep going through this. I really thought FORD APPRECIATED THEIR CUSTOMERS AND WERE ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. I am wrong. This is #3 in the shop with the recall on the fuel system. 3 times in 2 months with 1 month being completely useless to me.
I am a 70 yrs. old and I never had a car like my 2002 Ford Crown Victoria LT. I sincerly would give a big F to who ever decided to discontinue the Crown Victoria. I would certanly love to see it rolling in our streets before I pass away. It's more than a car it's an icon of what we represent.
The Ford Ranger needs a remodel and a hybrid version. Believe me there is a market out there for a compact pick-ups. There aren't any more compact pick-ups being made, the Ranger is the last one but it hasn't been updated in I don't know how long. I've owned 2 Rangers and would love to get another one but I need a vehicle that has better fuel economy for everyday use. There are people that need the truck bed on a regular basis but not necessarily for something heavy, just large and awkward and it is heck of a lot more convenient throwing my bicycle in the back of that rather than having to take the wheel off and working it into a car. Getting a truck that gets at least 24 mpg city would be awesome and I know there would be a huge appreciation for it. You guys really need to check out the forums that are out there. My wife owns a Mariner Hybrid and I can't believe the mileage she gets out of it.
I took my vehicle to a dealership in Bakersfield for a recall. After they repaired my vehicle they picked me up and I took my vehicle home. The next day my vehicle would not start. I noticed I had no power, which was strange because I just put a new battery in several weeks prior. I took the battery in and exchanged it, put it in the vehicle and my power locks and doors did not work. The vehicle still would not start and it was making a strange noise. I also noticed it was doing other things it never did before such as after you remove the key, it still beeped as though the keys were still in the ignition. I called the dealership because I knew the problems I was experiencing was in connection with the repairs made for the recall. Instead of them trying to correct the problem they totally denied the problem which they created.
We really like our Mercury, Marianer however, the local dealer(Brian Bemis Auto World)(representative: Jay Wilkerson)made us feel very uncomfortable. He told us the Steering Column needed to be replaced in our 2005 Mercury, that has only 63,000 miles on it. He told us it is very unusal and that we just baught one that wasn't built well. Told us they would replace it for $750. now I don't understand if this isn't something that usually happens why I the consumer would be expected to pay for it. We have had no complaints about our car but feel this is very wierd to say the least. Think we should inform you that you have a dealer that is making consumers feel uncomfortable about your product. I will never deal with them again, he didn't even look at us well talking. Please let me know what you can do for me in this sistuation.. My e-mail address is loceramic@comcast.net, Mail address is 102 Kishwaukee Lane, DeKalb, Il. 60115, my phone is 815-758-3603. Please advise.
I am very upset as well I live in Jacksonville IL I went to the Ford Dealership to trade my 06 F-150 in, and all they wanted to do was show me their used "program Dodges" I have been a Ford guy my entire life and though my current vehichle was not the best at times I was hoping trade for a new. I kept telling them I wanted a new ford and I was writing them a check and still they were pitching dodge. I even asked for a manager and he spent he first 5 mins explaining to me the benefits of buying a program mopar. Ford should step in and say something but to late now for me they showed me the 2010 rams so I went down the road and bought a 2011 Ram 1500 and love it so far so good luck ford.
