I shopped at the Latham NY store, the store Manager Chris is rude, obnoxious and follows your every move. I actually overheard her telling an associate to watch me!! I am appalled! I called the corporate line and never got through. I will never shop here again!! If you want good customer service, try the Deb shops!!
Hello my name is Annie I visited the Greece Dots store located in Rochester, NY 12/18/2010. that was a very horrible experience. I am beginning to believe that dots trains all of their staff to follow customers around the store, especially if you have a medium sized purse. i was extremely insulted at how the store manager Mary wa literally following throughout the store. so I began to test her, If i were in the back of the store she would come to the back of the store, so i would go to the front of the store she would go to the front of the store and go through every rack tha she saw that i was previously on. I was irate i confronted the manager, and of course she tried to act as if she did not have a clue on what was going on. As she stated she was just "doing her job". Then a regular customer came into the store, i over heard the manager talking about me to the regular customer. There we had it out again the manager began swearing and telling me that i don have to shop there. Honestly I wanted punch the managers large face in literally. The DM never returned my phone call and corporate never answer their phone. I fault corporate,Dots needs to train thier staff better. and hire security guards. they what their manager's to be security as well not good. I do not go shopping to be harassed by the store staff.
LOOK LADIES, I FEAL YOUR PAIN
LOOK LADIES, I FEAL YOUR PAIN. I HAVE BEEN SHOPPING AT DOT'S IN ATLANTA, GA for years, but with a DEFINATE grain of salt. DOT'S is a lil' ghetto if ya catch my cheap fashion drift, but they DO HAVE cute stuff, I find their accessories the most eye catching. DO NOT EXPECT THE RED CARPET, or to be treated with ANY REAL customer care. You may as well be shopping in the South Bronx for real. Try Kholes (sp?) and DD's if there is one near you. MUCH better customer service AND variety though dd's is ALREADy headed down the customer service drain with a "NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS" policy...AND you sell baby clothe's??? really???
I recently went to your Dots store in Jacksonville, Florida. The service was less than impressive to say the least. There were two women working in the store, who just stood around and did absolutely nothing. I got a funny look when I walked in the door, and I recieved very little assistance finding what I needed in the store. I asked the manager,Donna, for her name and she refused to give it to me, I finally found out her name only because another associate walked in and said I need to speak to you Donna. She was very rude, and not only that when I asked her to open a fitting room for me she walked out the front doors to smoke a cigarette. Very bad customer service will not be going back to that store. I will from now on visit the beach store.
I was about to spend over $300.00 doing some early christmas shopping for my family. This DOTS store located in hialeah, florida @ 5760 NW 183rd street. phone number 305-828-5211. The so called manager was rude, unprofessional and violent. Her name is Adriana. She screamed at me and at my 3yr old son for no reason at all. My little one had a ball on his hand and it felt of his hand. So, the manager decided to tell me THAT I BETTER PICK THAT UP NOW!!!!!!! WITH A MAJOR ATTUTIDE.I told her that there was no need for her to yell or scream at my son. She was very demanding like if she was the mother of my son. I had asked her for her name and the corporate office number and she refused to provide me with that information. I had to GOOGLE everything, call 411 local AND WAS ABLE TO CALL THAT STORE and a young lady answered and stated that she was the manager and that her name was Adriana. Please what is wrong with you guys. You guys need to start hiring people with education, not ghetto or unprofessional. There is people out there in todays world living of unemployment with no jobs. If you would like to please me please FIRE THAT SO CALLED MANAGER adriana...98% OF THE clients WALKED OUT FROM THE STORE AFTER SEEING HER ATTITUDE TOWARDS MYSELF AND my SON. I WILL BE LETTING EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS SITUATION INCLUDING FRIENDS,FAMILY OR ANYONE THAT DECIDE TO GO TO THAT STORE LOCATED IN 5760 NW 183RD STREET IN HIALEAH, FLORIDA. i am pretty sure you guys are disappointed too. my email is jenolacious@gmail.com Thank you in advanced

5760 NW 183RD STREET HIALEAH, FLORIDA WORST STORE EVER, UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER, SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRE. REHIRE SOMEONE WITH MANNERS, EDUCATION, AND HIGH QUALITY ASSURANCE.
I am very disappointed in that your store locations do not offer restroom facilities to your customers. I was at the location in fort worth Texas and my daughter needed to use their restroom. I would have spent over 200.00 dollars at this location but I had to leave to take me daughter to another store to use their restroom instead. I told them that I would not be returning to purchase these items if I had to leave their store if I had to leave. This did not phase them in the least, I am so glad that your company is doing so well that losing customers does not effect you. By reading the previous complaints from other shoppers, you apparently do not plan on bein open to much longer, because by the time we all tell ten friends this news will travel very fast. I would like to say I would like to hear from someone within the corporation but usally the employees are direct results from managment
I went to the dots store in balch springs tx today an there was no customer service so I got my clothes down by myself and the got yelled at for doing so by the manager then I was yell at for going into a dressing which again had no employee over there by them I was treated as if I was lower than them. Please I could have spent plenty of money there but I will not be treated like that or let the employees speak to me so rudely I will not be going back and I Weill spread the word!
I shop at Dots in Matteson, Illinois and the staff there is very helpful and kind. I adore the fashions along with the extremely reasonable prices! The only issue I have noticed is that they watch certain people a little too much in my opinion as they enter. I am a professional woman keeping my appearance polished and the last thing I want to do steal something. I know my stance isn't everyone's and some people do look for opportunities to get over but since that is the case, store personnel must watch 'EVERYONE' and not just some. There seems to be a misconception that only certain ethnic groups are prone to theivery and that really irritates the heck out of me. Overall, I had a very good experience with that location and I will be shopping there again in the VERY near future...
I visited one of Dots' locations on July 23, 2010 and I was pleasantly surprised concerning the trendy fashions available for women. The store that I visited was in Miami Florida on 163rd street, next to payless. The staff was very attentive, warm and knowledgeable about the merchandise. The service was outstanding in my opinion, especially this being my first visit. I am a manager for Macys department store for the past 11 years. I like to experience other sources at times, only to see what the so called "underdogs" are doing. Regards Mrs. Johnson
Recieved horrible customer service at the dots in Raleigh, North Carolina by manager Jessica on July 06, 2010.
I'm very appalled by my shopping experience on July 06, 2010 in Raleigh,NC on Fayetteville rd. Manager Jessica was very rude and did not honor mistakes that were very clear. Normally I was very pleased with this store and the service unitl today when I first encountered her. Not only did she not take any responsiblity she was very disrecptful and had no idea what customer service meant. She turned a loyal customers trip into a last one.
I went into your store in Nanuet, NY over the Fourth of July weekend. Now let me preface my remarks by stating that I am a 64 year old woman with two adopted girls - 13 and 15. I realize that your store's target consumer is not me. However I was totally disgusted with the music that the staff was playing on the stereo there - Rhianna was singing middle finger up I dont really give a ______ and she DIDNT omit the last word. Now I ask you isnt there some happy medium between Frank Sinatra singing Moonlight in Vermont and THAT??? I think it is inappropriate to inudate teenagers with this type of music and desensitize them to appropriate language and behavior. I would suggest that your headquarters develop a policy and procedure for what type of music is permissable - and expect your franchise owners to adhere to it.
Yesterday my daughter went to you store located in Decatur, Illinois. That will be the last time I ever step foot in that store. I have never been treated so rudely by anyone. My daughter was bawled out by one of the employees for putting the clothes she had just tried on onto an empty rack positioned directly outside of the dressing room. Excuse me??? The employees were eating fried chicken and at the same time hanging up the clothes that were in boxes. Who wants chicken grease on their new clothes? Not me. When we went to check out the cashier ( the same one who yelled at my daughter would not even speak to us. Reverse discrimination?? We are white and don't belong in that store is the vibe you get. Don't worry, we will never go back. We got the message loud and clear.
On saturday 6-5-10 i went to your store located on Center rd/Lapeer rd in Burton Michigan your store was scheduled to open at 10:00, i arrived at 9:40 and at 9:45 two employees locked the store and left. Some customers waited some left. Your employees returned at 10:20 laughing and gigling with cups of Tim Hortons coffee, there were at least 12 to 14 customers waiting to get into the store, one of the employees made an announcement that they had went to the bank, she then locked the doors again and did not let anyone in and stated she had to get the registers ready. At 10:30 she finally opened the store. I find this unacceptable and will never return to your store again! I am sure you dont pay your employees while they are out buying coffee!!! Sandra Moore
You have received MANY complaints about the customer service your store in Mastic/Shirley, Ny store. Your representatives treat your customers as if it is an inconvenience to serve them as they would rather talk about what is going on in there social schedule, who pissed them off, what he said/she said and using profanity. Why have you not sent someone in there to TEACH YOUR staff on how to treat people willing to spend money in these economic times at your establishment? I have just come home this store and I am outraged to be treated in this manner. MY money pays for THEIR wages and I refuse to pay for abuse!!!!! By the way, my daughter also has had the SAME experience and she does not frequent your store any longer. She said she would rather spend more money on a similar object than to be treated in this fashion. Please respond promptly. One star is too gracious by far for this store! Sandra Antonini Email Breezzy32@optonline.net I am on the phone with the store manager, first when I called a sales person answered the phone like she was answering her home phone (Hello). I hesitated because I thought I had the wrong number, I stuttered then she said Thanks for calling Dots can I help you. The Manager Allison said she did that because they were taking care of a shop lifting incident ( I would look into that if I were you). She said she has witnessed may times were the sales people were shouting across the store talking about personal issues and that this is not the first time it has happened. All I can say is this is a totally mismanaged store.
Im writing to express my horrible experience i had at the Dots on Aramingo Ave. in PA!! The service there is absolutely terrible! The manager there was the worst....VERY unproffecional! I had a problem with my credit card and the cashier was very rude to me! The manager was called over and she said to me "I never see you shop in here" after i explained the problem! I am a frequent customer in that store! I am so outraged I will NEVER shop in Dots again! And i will be telling all my family & friends not to shop there again either! I was completly humiliated! The cashier or manager would not give me thier names! I would like to continue shopping at Dots but i want to be compensated in some way! Im so upset over this. Hopefully something can be done to resolve this matter. Please get back to me asap. Thank You, Kira Port My email is Soprecious929@aol.com
