FALL RIVER, MA STORE LOCATION
We have two great locations for a new Market Basket store. Shaws is closing August 1st and Walmart has left their location in Harbor Mall. Both locations are near the Rt.24 highway which would not only bring in customers from Fall RIver but nearby Tiverton, Portsmouth, Middletown, RI and not to forget customers from Somerset, Swansea, Rehoboth and Seekonk, Ma. This location would probably do better than the New Bedford & Raynham stores. I would seriously consider the locations off Rhode Island Ave, Fall River, MA.
Organic Food
I use to drive from Salem N.H. to Whole Foods in Andover Ma. once a week to buy organic products. Now that Demoulas Market Basket carries many of the same organic brands , I only have to drive to Whole Foods once a month. Thank you Demoulas!
I no longer like the store!
I used to like Market basket until the new West Bridgewater store. I had a problem with a manager in the baking department, and I got bad hamburger twice. My complaints were totally ignored and now I shop at Stop and Shop, and other markets that care about their customers. So I don't care what happens to the CEO... or Market basket... you didn't care about this customer.
Shaws Closing
Shaws at the 260 Winthrop St Taunton, MA location is closing as of August 1 2013. Opening another Market Basket in Bristol County can only help your business, especially with the Walmart opening up next door to the Raynham MA store. I do not think you will find the least bit of resistance at all, except maybe from the Hannaford from across the street
Fliers
I love the store, and the pricing, My problem is that you have a flier sent out by USPS and every week I get it in the mail thru The SMART SHOPPER the sale are almost over and the date on the Smart Shopper is the week before, I think you should be upset that the people you are paying to get your sales flier are doing you no good.!
Food quality
Shopping at Ft. Eddy Rd, Concord last week around 7pm on Friday night. Vegetables were not well stocked nor was there enough water in their bins to keep them moist. Had to ask for bananas as another couple also wanted some too. Did not buy any other vegs as they were too dried out. Purchased a Rasp/Apple pie where the crust was not cooked enough. Very tough pastry so it was not really appetizing. Also tried to rebake it a little in the oven.
Another store needed in the NORTH COUNTRY
Little Gorham NH needs a Market Basket store..........we are at the mercy of a "BOX STORE" and people need another place to shop. The prices and the stock sometimes go up and then nothing in its place for a few days to a week. (out of stock)..Again we are at the mercy of the BOX STORE............We always pack the freezer pacs and thermal bag when we leave town for the day.... We go to Dover a lot and shop at the store in Somersworth We know there going to be a store in N Conway......still a 35 miles trip one way. Thank you..

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Epping NH Store, I drive extra to shop there because the one in Stratham is run down and the produce is DISGUSTING and not a lot of variety in different items. Any why have you stopped selling Gisha Tuna????
Store in Chelmsford, MA
The Town of Chelmsford desperately needs a Market Basket in the southern part of town. I live near the Carlisle line, and I have to drive 6 miles to reach your store. There is absolutely no place to buy groceries in this area. There is a vacant Star Market in the CVS Plaze which would be an ideal location. PLEASE consider another market in Southern Chelmsford. Driving to your present store or to Westford is too long when in need of a few items.
South shore
Please find a spot on the south shore near braintree, I love your new store on the cape, just wonderful to shop in.
Fort Eddy Road Market Basket
Manager Tom and ALL the staff are on the ball! Everyone knows where things are located and all are helpful. Never seen anyone goofing off or ignoring a customer. Even on the Saturday before Christmas, the checkouts were fully staffed and moved quickly. Kudos to Tom and staff!
HAPPY SHOPPER
I just moved to Hampton, NH and was shopping at your larger store in Seabrook. It was Saturday, Dec. 1 and the store was very busy. All the registers had lines. I was very impressed because the Store Mgr. "Larry" was bringing shoppers to the express lines, which weren't as busy, to move everyone through as quick as possible. I just want to say how nice it was for a Manager to go one step above. Most of the time the Managers just stand and watch at the front. I just wanted you to know...I will also thank him when I return to his store. Also...Great Store! Linda

re: store # 48 Rivers Edge Plaza Haverhill, Ma I have shopped at this store since you opened it. I have been happy to be a loyal customer. Unfortunately one of your vendors has been lax in filling his shelves with a product I have purchased for years. The A&W diet Cream Soda (2 leter) never seems to be in stock. I have mentioned this to A&W Corp, and they assure me that this product is in your stores. After speaking to a number of managers and the Poland Rep with no satisfaction, I am coming to you.
I have been an employee at market basket #15 for almost 4 years. I honestly dislike working for this company. If it wasnt that the economy was so bad I wouldnt be working there. I am only a number and it has been clear to me that I am replaceable. The managers are stuck up and dont even greet you when you come into work. Head Cashiers are sleeping with employees, so they get 32 hours a week while everyone else is stuck with 14. Its NOT fair. Of course I didnt put my real name, it would only give mb a reason to fire me.
I RECENTLY PURCHASED CHICKEN WINGS AT THE BURLINGTON MASS MARKET AND WHEN I TOOK THEM OUT OF THE PACKAGE TO COOK THEM THE VERY NEXT DAY THEY SMELLED OF AMMONIA AND WERE VERY STICKY, STILL I THOUGHT THEY WERE OK, BUT AFTER 45 MINUTES IN THE OVEN THEY DIDN'T BROWN OR CRISP AS WINGS USUALLY DO AND THE AMMONIA SMELL WAS STILL THERE, SO NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY WENT INTO THE GARBAGE. TO SELL THIS KIND OF MERCHANDISE IS UNFAIR TO US CUSTOMERS. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS !!!!!!
I have been a very loyal emplee for a year I ame a loyal emplee for over a year I am a college professor, and this makes end meet I enjoyed and give careinging respect our customers. I love giving service to them! However, my store manager found that wnen I made an honest mistake, a few weeks after my back was broken, The ccompany put me down to a bagger.Would you not think the masters degree would put me into management, where they have none?
I work in Concord NH The deal is, if you have an advanced degree and need money, regardless or your supererb customer service, you are treated like crap 3.5 hour shifts don't make gas money when you live 25 miles away........... The newly hired school kids get all the hours, not us who have worked there over time, know you well, and know what you want when you come back Will be their for you Lady with the smile, Francesca
Please consider opening a store in Elizabeth NJ., specifically Hillside NJ. They only have 2 supermarkets, which are of the Stop&Shop chain. There is absolutely no competition for them. Therefore, they slack on customer service, produce, you name it! PS. There is a Wholefoods store but it is a distance away.
I live in Andover and shopped at the Shawsheen Plaza store until the lease expired. I then went to the store on 114 in Lawrence. I love the atmosphere there and the positive attitude of clerks, assistant , and managers. I was disturbed with the latest new item about doing away with the profit sharing. In my mind profit sharing is available in a forward-leaning company, showing respect for employees. I thought if they disbanded this program I would have to switch to Hanniford's, where I've never shopped and triples the distance I'd have to drive. I was so elated when I heard that the profit-sharing will still be in effect. My friends agree with me and were going to switch to Hanniford's, too, if the profit sharing was discontinued. Congratulations on being a 21st century company.
