On May 31,2012 I was putting gas around 5:00 pm at the Chevron Hollywood, Florida gas station. While getting out of the car someone broke my window and stole my purse. The attendant said that the video was not working outside so they could not get the tag of the car that left with my belongings. it is hard to believe that you go to a gas station such as Chevron and they make you pay high prices for gas but no one seems to care for the well being of the customer.
i told the guy at the pump to put $10 gas in my tank, when i went to pay my card was decline because a prob. with the bank, the guy at pump had all ready put gas in my car. i didn't carry any cash with me the only money i had were some COLLECTION COINS, i told the woman at cashier if i could leave her my i.d., cell, to make sure i was going to go get the $ and come right back rudely she refused. she said if i even move the car shed call the police, then She told me she could hold on to my Coins to let me go but car would have to stay. i gave her my Coins when i got back to the chevron the woman was not there the guy said he didn't know anything about any coins, and just kept repeating it over and over that the woman didn't mention anything at all, all he told me is that i just owe $5 dllrs i told him no i owe $10 he kept arguing and said you just owe $5 period. i was very disappointed & i felt like they Robbed me because i had those coins for really long time and some were gift from a my fam. member she never ment to hold them for me. so she was RUDE,LIED & ROBBED ME. and those are the people chevron have working at their store??? if they robbed me... i can just IMAGINE....
Do any of you have Chevron credit cards? Their latest is to mail your statement out on the 14th, I receive it on the 18th, payment is due on the 28th. Husband mailed payment the 23rd, Chevron said they didn't get it until the 31st making the payment late-as it is a business card, we were charged a $112.00 late fee, interest of $12.34 on the balance that was late (3 days) and a monthly fee of $5.00 for a paper billing? If this isn't a rip-off, I don't know what is. Go to the web-site Chevron Scam and see what Chevron is doing to their long-time customers...As soon as hubby signs up for a different gas card, will be closing both my business and personal cards out.
Let me start by saying I will never,I repeat never step foot in a Chevron Station again,even if it's the last one for 50 miles as I would prefer to run out of fuel & walk!! Ok now that that's out of the way here is the reason why. I stopped in for fuel at the Chevron #185 station located at 7799 Ulmerton Rd/Belcher Rd. in Largo Florida for fuel because in bright lights the sign read $3.37 gal,well as I usually do (just to make sure) I pump 1 gal & stop to make sure pricing is correct right? Well when I reached that gallon of fuel & I was at $ 3.42 I thought hmm...this is wrong I looked back up at the "huge" lighted sign of $3.37 & looked a little closer to see a much smaller sign,faded that read "cash or Chevron card" I then looked at the pump to see the price per gallon & guess what...there was no price at all! so I proceeded to walk into the store & confront the attendant as to why this is,First he barley spoke a lick of english & last time I checked I was still in the United States Of America where English is or was the standard Language. yes I know I sound racist but believe me I am not however read on, He attempts to tell me cash only or Chevron card,I say Yes after your "huge" lighted sign drew me in & I started to pump I see that little sign. I then say also there is no price per gallon on my pump,He then tries to say in broken English He just started his shift & something about only being with Chevron 1 week & maybe pump is broken.Ya think? I say ok print my receipt for the 1 gallon as I feel you took advantage of me with your pricing tactics & also please write the Chevron Corp.# as well as your Managers so I can take up this matter with them,He now shruggs his shoulders,says I dont know.I again asked for the Managers # & by now other customers are walking in,Oh I almost forgot to add that when I first walked in?
Will never shop there again! When an employee screwd up on ringing up my product he refused to fix it. Told me if I wanted to call corporate look the number up in the phone book. There was aposter with the correct price in the window next to the door. So befor I left I went and took a pic of the poster with my pkone. He rushed out side and said if I was going to make such a huge issue out of it here. And threw a doller at me. The doller wasn't the big deal. His attitud and horrible customer service was. You have to be kidding me.
I realize each Chevron company is privately owned, but I strongly believe your company needs to be made aware of what kind of service a spacific store is conducting. My sister went into their store, where she was followed around by a male employee, where she was then told "That woman your with, she is not allowed on my premisis, she can not be here and I will have her arrested this is private property". When my sister got in the car, and told me what happened, I wanted to know why my mother was not allowed to shop there. So I called the store, and a female employee who identified herself as the manager, told me that she "Didn't like the way she looked, and thats their right to refuse service" When i brought it to her attention that you can not refuse service because of the way someone looks, the female said "yes we can, I have to go" and hung up on me. I then called back again, and a male employee named Mark answered the phone. I called to ask for a distric number or a company number I could call and complain to, and he asked me for my side. After telling me, that the female was in the wrong, he would not give me her name when I asked for her name to complain. I wanted to go above him because I do not feel this matter will be properly delt with. It is absolulty wrong to refuse service to someone because you do not like the way they look. If my mother has never stolen, or done their store wrong, she should have absoltly no problem shopping there. If you dont like the way your customers look, don't choose to do business in a "low income area" of town. They have no idea that my mother, lives in a lower income area of town, because she has terminal lung cancer and can't afford to live in a "Nice part of town", and the last thing she needs to worry about is being harassed and chased down half way through the parking lot, being asked to see her repceipt everytime she leaves the store. She is spending money in your store, that is the closest convience store between her treatment center and her home, that she walks to! And here she has to worry about being harassed because of how she looks? That is extremely unprofessional! I honestly would rate that store ZERO STARS but thats not an option.
To whom or to the individuals who sets the prices at the gas stations, wether in cal or the sister section in Salt Lake City, Utah, there is no reason why Diesl should be higher than premieum @ the pumps.I KNOW THIS FROM MY OWN EXP..Exxon last week boasted of there earnings of 11 billion so did the others. When crude oil on may 6,2011 or 7, was @ $98.00 a barrel, @ the pumps we did not see a decrease @ all.As of today crude oil was @ $102. or 103.00 .Because of your neglect THERE WILL BE A BOYCOTT. You are pissing people off more so than in the past.To allow this greed is unethical.The economy as we all know is not well.Hope you learn your lesson this time when it comes to your greedy desire.
db A previous comment stated the rudest attendant worked in portland. I be to differ that the rudest pump guy does not works at that Chevron Station. There is a more ruder individual working on Stark St. Chevron in Gresham. Simply by refusing to put gas in my gas tank after the nozzle clicked off after 2.5 gallons. My tank was empty and just flat out refuse me service. The law states: Topping off is when an attendant continues to fill a gasoline tank after the nozzle has clicked off. If an attendant can confirm that a vehicle tank is not full after the click off, the attendant may continue to dispense fuel using best judgment and caution to prevent a spill. I showed him my gas guage but I guess he can't read past the picture of the nozzle with the line through it. Never once in 50 plus years have I ever ran across a ruder and uncustomer oriented individual. No wonder he pumps gas. I like it when you can pump your own gas. With all the people out ther looking for work you would think that some of these stations would work on showing their attendants how to treat repeat customers. Time for me to become a Shell customer. He talked to the customer like he was arguing with his mother!!! AND he's been there for at least six months now and hasn't been fired!! Looser city. What a crew.

I bought a gas gift card from Chevron. When the person I gave it to went to use it there was no money on it. I took the card back to the Chevron I purchased it from and they agrued with me that money was put on the card. I call the customer service number on the back of the card and they confirmed that there was no money ever put on the card. The owners of the Chevron still refused to give me my money back even after talking to the customer service rep and him explaining to them that there was money never put on the card. The corporate office refused to help and said that there was nothing they could do.

If you want a suicide mission fill up at a expensive a chevron well this is what happened I drive a honda civic and I get 25 to 30 miles to the gallon so I filled up with 10 bucks and guess what I ran out of gas on the fwy at only 17 mile I do not know if they even gave me gas or just took my money and let me leave empty handed or what they put in there gas to burn it that fast even I thought my gas gage did not even register past empty after that experience I never went back to chevron again I even repoted them to pbs frontline media so they can inves tigate
If only there were negative numbers for rating. We purchased $10 of gas at our neighborhood Chevron station in Ormond Beach, FL. $90 was charged to our bank account. We have spoken to the bank, the little girl at the station (more interested in talking to her friend) and called the number she gave us 1-800-435-7277, a number for the stations to use. I have also called the corporate offices 925-842-1000. We returned to the station and verified there was no skimmer on the machine. They are blaming the bank and if you persist and ask to speak to someone they send you to a dead voice mail. One fellow told me it was between Visa/the bank/and Chevron and he hoped they got out of the deal soon. And then he sent me to the dead voice mail. We are being told that the difference, $80 will be credited anywhere from 24 to 72 hours from now. DO NOT USE CHEVRON STATIONS. And if you have I suggest you call that 925 number in California. Maybe if we rise up as consumers they will be forced to behave as a responsible (oh stop laughing) oil company. At the very least you will give the woman answering the phone something to do.
You have an employee working at your Chevron station at Palm and Florida. He was working for Valero when I was there last night. I went in for my change and he became verbally abusive and physically threatening. He was screaming profanities at me, threw my change at me and was using the "F" word, flipping me off and yelling at me to get out. While I was picking my money up off the floor my son came in and the guy stopped and ducked down behind the counter. I worried he was getting a gun. Chevron, you should be more careful who you hire. I will never go to your station as long as this "Frank" guy is there. I am a woman in my 60's and certainly posed no threat to him. He was totally out of control.
