REFRIGIRATOR/FREEZER PROBLM UNRESOLVED WE have had Broward for about 6 months. Within that 6 month period we have had numerous problems with our kitchen appliances. Not to say that the problems were their fault but specifically our refrigerator freezer that has been on the fritz for over 3 of those 6 months. They have been out her several times with new components and various other service calls. Here we sit 3 months later with a virtually a non-functioning unit. Our contract specifically states that if an appliance becomes unusable that it will replaced by Broward Steve Fergusson of the Summerfield office and I had a heated discussion yesterday regarding this matter. His resolution was that I call Frigidaire to have a diagnostic visit which we would be reimbursed for. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with Frigidaire customer service, we were not able to get any action. To say the least I am quite frustrated. Steve has offered to refund my contract. I say no. NO ONE ANSWERS THEIR PHONE IN THE HOLLYWOOD FL OFFICE. SOME TIMES U CANNOT EVEN LEAVE A MSG CUZ THEIR MAILBOX IS OFTEN FULL. AND WHEN IT IS NOT FULL, MSGS ARE NEVER RETURNED WITHIN 24 HRS. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO REQUESTS MADE ONLINE FOR APPTMTS. I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER AND DESERVE TO HAVE MY REQUESTS FOR APPTMTS MADE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Very happy with my service and the prompt response to getting my air conditioner back up and running. Nothing is more frustrating than coming home on a hot day to a HOT house. I was up and running again within hours of my phone call to Broward. My experiences have been the best. Thank you for getting me back up and cooled off in this hot summer!

I called BFS Texas for a/c service this morning around 10am and got their voicemail. At 4pm, I still had not heard from them, so I called and left another message. At 8pm I received a call from a tech named Damon yelling at me to "stop calling, everyone is hot and needs service today! You will not get service until Wednesday!" I told him there was no need to be rude to me and he insisted that I was being rude to him on my voicemails. That is not true. I told him that maybe he needed to get a new job if he was so unhappy with his current position and he said "goodbye!" and hung up on me. That is professionalism at its finest! I have been a customer with BFS for five years. Honestly, they have never been easy to work with but this is the final straw. Do not purchase a home warranty with them unless you want to wait a week for a/c service, four weeks for refrigeration service and be treated terribly during the process.
