Just an update to my complaints of 7/7/10- and 7/16/10 . . . we finally received our certificates.

I was notified that I had two reported problems with my credit due to two accounts with Barclays Bank of Delaware. I have never had accounts with Barclays and after leaving messages on the main number as instructed I finally found a number for an officer of the bank. He had someone call me once and leave a message and now repeated calls to this person goes unanswered.

Continuation of the absurdity reported on 7/7/10, to which I have not heard back on this complaint, nor have I received the certificates. US Air did respond which I found refreshing and professional, but as only a partner with Barclays Bank, they are not responsible or able to assist in this matter. As requested in my call of 7/7, I gave Barclays until today, 7/16 to send the certificates - 9 weeks from the date of my original call. Upon calling today, I was told by the supervisor that she doesn't know why I don't have the certificates but that she would "escalate it to the highest level to have the certificates sent." When I asked what that meant, she said she would take it to the executive offices and ensure that the certificates are sent and that they should be to me in 4-6 weeks! I was dumbfounded. I asked if I could speak to the "executive offices" and was told I could not and that there was nothing else that could be done. Bottom line, I don't have them, have waited 9 weeks for them, and now am being told they will be requested again today and I have to go through this ALL OVER AGAIN and wait 4-6 weeks, then if they don't arrive, call and play the same bizarre game all over again! While I have already lost the ability to book my Maui vacation, I am now in this for the simple principle of the matter. I will not go away regardless of how many times I have to call ... this is absolutely the worst process and customer service I have ever received.

On May 12th I contact Barclay's to request a replacement companion ticket certificate as I never received our original kit. I was told I would have it in 3-4 weeks. 4 weeks came and went, no certificates. Called and told 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks came and no certificates. I called and was told I would have by end of June . . . each time told "they are in the mail." Called today and told it is 6-8 weeks. Well, today is 8 weeks. Told I need to wait until next week. When I asked why, I was told that they have 8 weeks to get it in the mail. Well, I was told they were already in the mail. We have been waiting on these certificates in order to book our dream vacation to Hawaii. That dream is now ruined becuase even if the certificates do arrive, the airfare since May 12th has gone from $600 to $1000 and there is no way we can now afford to take our family of three there even with the $99 companion fare. I now feel like this whole thing is some sort of scam, or else Delaware is so still using pony express to send mail. Beware false claims from this cmopany. I am beside myself over this and the loss of a lifelong dream. Thanks, Barclays. You have my contact info numerous times on file if you wish to make this right.

6-16-10 Back in April 5,10 I sent a payment on my credit card a month went by and was not posted on my account so called they said I did not make a payment so they said they would check into it never heard a word from them called several times no one has any answers. So it cost me $15.00 to get a copy of this money order to prove they did cash it. Their stamp was on the money order. They finally which was June took the 110.00 off my account and interest but not the $15.00 dollars it cost me to prove I sent this to them they said when I talked to them with 15 different names that they would take this off also and no one can tell me where this money went all this time if the money order was stamped it sure went some where. As you can see I always pay on time NEVER LATE and pay inbetween on my account. So you could at least have the decenty to take this off my account. I hope you can give me an answer and not 3 mo. later
