I have been an AT&T customer my whole life. I have had a cell phone with them for over 10years. My contract is up on 22nd of December of this year and I am counting down the days. I would go with any other company after this! Being with a company this long you think that you would be a valued customer but nobody is. I feel sorry for all the T-mobile people that are going to get stuck with this company. I have spoken with many Customer Service personnel and Supervisors over changing 2 of my 3 lines to I phones, even though we are all on the same contract only one can be changed and the others can be changed in 4 months. This is there policy well it will be only for me until December and I am now switching my internet and house phone to another group also. So for the rest of you who have AT&T start counting your days down and make a statement and switch to a new company to show them that we will not stand being treated this way any longer!

I have been an AT&T customer for many years- both home & cell phone. Customer service is poorly organized & unprofessional. Five days ago, without any authorization from me, my mobile phone was switched to GO Phone- a pre pay plan, despite no authorization from me, and despite the fact that my phone bills have always been currently paid on time, and roll-over minutes carried over. For 5 days I have spoken with 5 teams of Customer Service personnel & 5 Supervisors in five different locations, none of which were in Los Angeles. Despite hone having my home phone #, no one has called me back. One supervisor told me to go to the AT &T store closest to my home in Los Angeles, Ca. to get a new Sim card. For the last 4 days, the Sim card remains "unauthorized", and despite 2 calls to the stores manager, I still have not received any response, and I still do not have use of my cell phone. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau, the Dept. of Consumer Affairs and the CA. Public Utilities Commission of Consumer Affairs. Does anyone in the corporate offices of AT & T read any of these complaints??

I have unfortunately been an AT & T (through all of their name changes and iterations) for close to 50 years. They are the worst company in the entire universe. Every time I am forced to call them to either change my service or report a problem, I have an anxiety attack. They are an inept, ineffectual, dysfunctional, lying bunch of idiots. Unfortunately, I have a family plan including 3 iPhones each with its own contract date and terminating my contract with them would be more of a nightmare than staying with them. I am currently in the middle of a simple process of eliminating one of my two residential land lines and transferring my DSL service to the surviving one. Simple? Yes, for someone with the intellectual capacity of a pet rock. So far, they disconnected the line with the DSL service on it before they transferred it to the other line and it took them 3 days to reestablish DSL service at HALF THE SPEED OF THE ORIGINAL SERVICE. Then when I called service and was disconnected after being transferred two or three times over a 45 minute time span, they dropped my call and didn't call me back. This is only the beginning of the ongoing story that gets MUCH WORSE. This company deserves to crash and burn. They suck.

I have had droped calls on my samsung soltice for over 10 months at&t has replaced it twice and the sim card once ive complained so many times its B***Shit.their customer care S**ks and so does their tech dept,as soon as i can get rid of AT&T bought out by cingular according to and from AT&T them self.i will never have a phone from AT&T ever again or will i ever refer Them to anyone.they dont treat their customers at all right!dont buy AT&T the new cingular strait from AT&Ts own mouths.

it all started about 6mo. ago after using att since 1989it always work ed in my house.for last 6mo we miss calls drops off all the time.unusable un less i go out side.cell tower is only 7tenths of a mile from house. i have been calling tech supoet a lot the tech down graded to 2g still did not work then last weekthety suggedted a micro cell. i get one and set it upmy phone works now in house but my wife LG PHONE DID NOT WORK . SO AFETR LOTS OF CALLS AND HOURS OF HOLDINGTHE TECH.COULD NOT RESET HER PHONE TO 3G ALL ANY OF YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID YOU GOT TO BUY A NEW PHONE THEY OFFERED OLD MODLE THEY WERE NOT TO MY SATISFACTORY SO WENT TO ATT FARTORY STORE AND GUESS WHAT THEY COULD NOT GET IT TO GO BACK TO 3G SO WE CAN GIVE YOU A NEW PH FOR100.00 DOLLARE NEED LESS TO SAY I AM VERY UN HAPPY WITH AT&T WATING YOUR CALL, CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS UP FRONT THAT I WILL NOR HEAR FROM ANY ONE JACK

I have been a long time customer of att and this is the worst phone service that I have known cause in the month of february my phone got shut off three times and it wasnt even my fault and i have a heart problem and need my phone for emergencys and i cant believe that they charged me to have it turned back on just because they turned the wrong phone off and they said they would take it off my bill and never did and they are wanting over $200.00 well i refuse to pay it cause this is not my fault and i garantee that i would NEVER recomend this phone compant to anyone.

I was in a AT&T mobility store in Newburgh New York. I was looking to switch my phone service to at&t untill I was treated with disrespect by one of the employees.. Mike Williams was totally unprofessional and should be fired...

I recently purchased the Iphone 4. On my non smartphone i had unlimited data service. With this smart phone purchase i should have unlimited data service since i have been a customer for more than 5yrs. Instead i am told i must take a lesser data plan for more money. I am not pleased with this at all.... I tried speaking to your representatives and Supervisors to no avail. At&T would rather LOOSE long standing Customers than to give fair service to them ... Further the executives (who have the authority to make decisions) hide behind the frontline worker. The program they try to feed you as the customer is : the SMARTPhones uses a different DATA plan than non smartphones... Which is a Crock... The internet is the Internet... most of which is FREE.... At&T is cheating it's customers out of Billions of Dollars each year with this gimmick of words....Did anyone know that just recently AT&T changes the policy regarding the so called Smartphones??? you can't get unlimited services for the Smartphones without changing your package and paying more money... This is Shameful.... At&T has been around a long time and is a household name... Why would the want to put the TAG of Cheaters on their reputation is beyond me..... I rate them with a 0 for Losers...

To one and all; I am giving the AT&T at large 1 star because I can't rate them any lower. I have issues with their service to my Father. He went into an AT&T store; NOT kiosk; and it's gone downhill from there. 1st; he was told if he wanted a new cell phone; he had to out right buy it. Not true; he's on my plan; I pay; he could upgrade. Then they refused to even review the plan, etc. Said he'd have to have me "come out" to do it. And yes, they knew I'd purchased the phones when he was visiting me in the area I live in and that meant travel on my part. When I called AT&T, they arranged a conference call with the Rep in question and he denied all. Funny; Dad had a contract where he'd gotten AT&T DSL just 45 minutes prior to the start of the cell phone issues. I guess he warped into a new dimension for the cell. I was assured all would be well and he could come back into the store for "good/new" service. Wrong. This time he was there the next day when they opened, signed in, and they ignored him until another customer called them on it. Then they told him not only could he not upgrade - I'd verified he could and arranged my contract to give him options - but that my stepmother did not have a cell phone. AT&T really did not care for the following call they recieved. I ask for at least 1 year's monies back for paying for her cell. They verified she did have it and now I was spilling facts, times, names to Supervisors, etc. With a bit of venom. I was polite. Just viscious. After like a kazillion apologies, I was told to lodge a complaint on the AT&T website. But where? There isn't an appropriate place for this type of complaint. AT&T Reps are taking advantage of an elderly man who doesn't know the "ropes" and they can push around. He's 83. But he has an over protective daughter who is going public with the facts. I have the number of the store and what has happened and it's all written down and documented. There are going to be letters. AT&T can not treat older citizens like they don't count. Thank you.

I have written a 3 page letter deatiling every lacking, sub-standard issue I have had with ATT in only 3 months. Hopefully some one will respond unless they are too busy sorting through the zillions of complaint letters.

I have been receiving obscene phone calls. Try to get AT&T to help...hah!!!! All I get is a recorded run-around. I've been ping-ponged so much that I finnally file a complaint with the FCC. The complaint was focused on the obscene phone call, AND AT&T.

I have having problems since June 2010. I have had six exchanges.Everytime they send me a refurb, phone they are no good. I just received that one and it is not working. I have been trying to restore all my information for two and a half hours. I called the 18008011101 number and they told me to call back in an hour or when the phone finish loading. iam very unhappy with this and no one seems to care. I have been a faithfull customer and i get treated this way. I want a brand new phone and some kind of consideration on my phone bill for some months,PLEASE HELP ME WITH PROBLEM. I WORK VERY HARD FOR MY MONEY AND THAT IS TRUE.MY NUMBER 3059513321

this company has billed me for seberal phone that i never got and have proved this to them as they had the wrong shipping address on me !! id neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr get this company and im going to be going to a different provider for my services and company needs!! buyer beware of this company!

I have a gophone account and have no means other than telephone to contact this company. I called informing them on 9/30 that I was getting a message of No Network Coverage on my phone. They told me someone would contact me in 24 hours. Have yet to hear. I am now losing $44 in my account as I cannot use my phone. This is a lousy company.

I was alone time user of AT&T mobile mservice long before AT&T took over Singular. I haven't had a contract in over 8 yr. Recently I needed to switch to another service provider. I call to cancel my service, and was told because I canceled before the next billing date I would be receiving a refund in the mail. Now I received a bill for a past due amount plus monthly service: which I do not have. I feel I have been treated wrongly, and feel AT&T should stand behind their word given to me by their customer service dept. worker. Why keep charging me for service I don't have and a bill I don't owe. This is very poor public relation, and I am very upset about this. No one ever give you the same answer to your question, It is always a different story.
